Busy Day Yesterday, An Afternoon & Evening Service @ 2 Different Churches. It was GRAND.

Yesterday was an afternoon of church fun. You may say FUN? Yes, of course, anytime I can attend church with a true word that comes forth is fun to me. I love worship and worship was grand at both church locations. Oddly enough they weren't too far in proximity of each other. The first church I attended was an afternoon service and I was at this location once before weeks ago. My friends never have been to this church location so yesterday was the day for them to experience this church. S glad I did experience it with them.
Then off to the second church and yes, of course, I saw 2 familiar faces from back home (where I was born and basically raised a good portion of my life in that state where I resided.) Oh my such a warm, fond feeling in your heart to connect with others you knew from another time in your life. The one actually took a selfie of the two of us and sent it to their parents telling them I said Hi. I was so blessed to see the other person and hear how their family is growing. Some of the children were little when I saw them and now they are growing up. So good to see that. The one child prayed a beautiful and powerful prayer over someone at that service. See, when you train up a child in the ways of the Lord you then get to see these young one's flowing in their gifts and blessing others. I did bring a gift for the one person a little bit of home for their family. Actually chocolates made in our home state. A bit of reminding them of home so to speak.
