The Bible Shows us To Look After The Widows & Orphans. Why Then Was No Tax On Social Security Not Included In The 1 Big Beautiful Bill?

You know I would venture to guess that the category of female widows numerical wise is greater than widowers in our country. The Census Bureau reports there are more than 13 million widows in the USA and of them, over 11 million of them are women that are widows. Astounding do you agree. So, why when our government had the great opportunity to bless these widows that are more than likely on Social Security possibly or some sort not being taken care of? Baffles me, it truly does. There is no longer a male spouse able to bring in an income to them to take care of them since they are deceased so why are we not taking care of them. Don't you think they should be entitled to care and being looked out for. That could have paved the way some if they would have honored a promise spoken forth of no tax on Social Security. God is watching all of this. I saw the other day 2 widows within my neighborhood. I baked a small cherry pie for one and with the left over pie crust dough I also made a smaller pie filled with cherry pie filling supplemented with fresh blueberries. These are not blood relatives of mine but just kindly, godly neighbors of mine. It is good to bless the widows and for some reason I enjoy blessing them. I get nothing out of doing this, just the joy of following Holy Spirit lead when He prompts me to bake or even cook something at times and drop it off to them.

Just yesterday, I went to a local Farmers Market in town held at a church. Oh my goodness, the very 1st vendor was selling 2 types of sourdough bread. Believe it or not the church pastor bakes the bread and all proceeds go to their youth program. It was so delicious when I cut a piece that morning to have with an Amish brown egg I made that I cut off 2 sections and brought it to my 1 neighbor that has a bible study. I said you have to try this bread. She said she had some blackberry preserves she thought would go good with it. This was quality sourdough bread freshly baked by a pastor. I forgot to ask the lady if the pastor is a female or male pastor, silly me does that really matter in the scheme of things. This was worth every bit of $5.00 a loaf and I asked if it was okay to leave $1.00 tip also for the youth ministry and I did.

Let me toss out another though on this subject if I may. So, if a woman is divorced from their husband and that same husband re-marries someone. Could that 1st wife be placed in the orphan category. Something to ponder on.

President Trump Very Disappointed That You Ditched Seniors & Didn't Include No Tax On Social Security But Included No Tax On Tips In The 1 Big Beautiful Bill. Why Is DOGE Not Continuing To Rat Out Uncontrollable Federal Spending? Inquiring Minds Want To Know.

I feel honestly let down and possibly duped for voting for President Trump on promises made and then to find out some of those very promises were not kept. So I am wondering why some no tax promises were included in the 1 big beautiful bill and the senior citizens were not given the same opportunity to not be taxed on Social Security. In my opinion that just seems unfair to pick people that work and receive tips over our seniors. Did you so easily forget that just maybe it was our now senior population that were the hard workers that actually showed up for work; actually worked when they went to work; and were a great cornerstone to building our great nation. You thought a great deal about them in my opinion when on the campaign trail in search of securing votes but it now gives the appearance that the seniors are long forgotten once the votes were secured by them. 

If you were so unconfident on not being able to get across the board all 3 categories of no tax: tips; overtime; social security then you should have not in my opinion campaigned on those promises or left all 3 of them out of that bill all together to make it even across the board so to speak. I know you are wealthy and probably don't have to rely on such a thing as social security benefits and that is great. What about the rest of us that do need social security benefits just to survive. I think you let us down and we would have been better off not even knowing about some silly promise that was not going to be kept. The same when it comes to all the talk of DOGE dividend checks, another thing that maybe should have never ever ever been even slightly suggested when that is probably not going to happen either. Why are the people that would have actually qualified for the dividend check now getting under looked.

Please quit adding all those gold/ornate articles to the Oval Office for in my opinion it is beginning to look a little overdone if I could use that word. Why not in my opinion ask First Lady Melania to assist in this decorating. She has a true eye for decorating and decorates with impeccable taste. My mother as I was growing up always told us that "Simplicity is the height of Elegance." I do not mean to be critical in my words but this is coming from someone that put trust into ministries only to find out some of them are in the news today for the wrongdoings they did. I hope my same trust I placed in you giving direction to our country I will not find out in the end I was duped also. I really need to seek wisdom from Holy Spirit.

I find when I visit the Amish country I see hard working families that recognize genuine sincerity from the people that purchase their goods from them. I visited recently and brought treats with me to bless this particular family. I of course asked the mother if it was okay for the children to accept the UTZ variety snack pack bag I purchased for them. She said it was fine and I joked that none could have their snacks until their chores were done. This family when I go there to get farm fresh eggs are a blessing to me. $3.00 per dozen of brown eggs and just $1.00 per pound for freshly picked beets.

Why are we not seeing DOGE exposing more federal waste spending and results to come forth from finding this stuff. In my opinion that is a shame that they aren't continuing to investigate and clean up the hidden stuff within our federal government. Remember when I suggested a while back that maybe DOGE could look into the Congress/Senate about them getting paid benefits for life and long vacations how come nothing was looked into about that or them being allowed to vote for their own pay increases? If I am wondering about some of these things I would venture to guess others in the USA might be wondering the same.

Update: I Withdrew My Request Of $500.00 Refund From James W. Goll. May I Explain ...

I believe the date was 5/12/2025 that Holy Spirit prompted me to compose an email to James W. Goll and I did. It was a brief email stating I will no longer request the $500.00 refund from him and I am no longer seeking him to provide proof that he actually purchased a Jaguar vehicle for Michal Ann Goll like he shared with me in an email. I simply stated that it was between him and God Almighty and this was not my battle. Of course, I heard not a single peep response to the email sent.

See how mysterious Holy Spirit works in one's life. I sent that email and then viewed a recent Drew Bloom video bible teaching on the book of Titus. Yes, Holy Spirit can use something as simple as that to confirm what you did was correct. So, since I released myself from the bondage of wanting a refund I am learning to let the burden be lifted from me and it is freeing if that makes sense.

Baked An Update Recipe Yesterday 5/10/2024 Morning. Rhubarb & Oatmeal Bars Combined.

I was up early yesterday morning so why waste time laying around when I could try to bake a newer to me updated oatmeal bar recipe. This time with fresh rhubarb and you make the filling to use in the oatmeal bar recipe. Turned out pretty good but with making the filling it tends to stick to the edge of the baking pan so don't be like me when I forgot to use Pam baking release spray. That would have helped.

I went to a local farmer's market and visited a lady's booth where she makes cards, notepads and post it note type of holders with a pen included. Purchased a few items. With getting ready to hopefully retire in the near future I purchased a notecard to write a thank you to the executive office staff for giving me the opportunity to work for their organization for several years. I also put together in a cute treat bag some Waggoner's Chocolates I ordered from Canton, Ohio to bless them. I actually purchased the chocolates to bless the widow neighbors for Mother's Day, and to take some with me when I go to a small family reunion. I also went to the Amish bulk store and bought those yummy potato chips my family likes to bring with me to the reunion. I froze the rhubarb bars after making a few plates to take to neighbors, to take with me also to the reunion.

Heading back from the bulk store I stopped by the Amish homes (there are 3 together) to purchase farm fresh brown eggs. So fresh they were that when I brought them home to clean them there was a chicken feather actually on one of the eggs. Now, the price of eggs still have not gone down in grocery stores like we are being told they have. This is a really good deal $4.50 for 18 eggs and then $4.00 for a pint of homemade sauerkraut also. The younger children and their mom gathered by my car as I waited for the eggs and we conversed a bit. I asked them which one of them was going to cook for their mom on Mother's Day, maybe a roast chicken, carrots, potatoes and salad. None said they would so I then jokingly suggested maybe someone making breakfast for her. The mom told me some of the children helped her bake sourdough bread and rolls that day. I asked her if the kids knew about Lego's and she said they did when she asked me what I was going to do for Mother's Day. I replied my children live out of state but 1 sent me 2 different Lego building sets for flowers to work on. I handed the mom a $10.00 bill and asked if it was okay for the child that fetched the eggs to keep the difference as a tip. She said it was fine. I must admit I felt bad not having anything to give the rest of the children as a tip for them. I have to make a mental note to get some snacks of some sort to leave with them the next time I go and get eggs. Lydia did not make any fresh cherry fried pies that day so I did not purchase any from her since my 1 neighbor likes cherry desserts. I told her husband that I made fresh rhubarb oatmeal bars that morning. If they were still not cooling off when I took them out of the oven, I could have made up a small plate to bring to this older Amish couple. Oh well. Remember, if you are blessed to be a blessing then you are blessed to bless others. I am sure there is something to be thankful for or someone you could share your blessings to bless another today. Think pretty hard and I just know you will find a way to be a blessing to others that may have blessed you 1 time or another in your life.
