"You Can't Change Things You Don't Confront"

A person I was speaking with several days ago shared that very title of this blog entry with me. It is profound and it was spoken to them by an elder in the church I attended years ago. This older in aged man also trained up the prophetic people within the church. He shared but he also corrected people too. I remember an experience I had with this elder in the church. We walked to the foyer of the church where 2 beautiful and ornate looking mirrors were on the walls. He was teaching me about bringing forth a true prophetic word. He asked me what the purpose of the glass portion of the mirror was. I responded to see your reflection. Then he pointed out the ornate looking frame around the mirror. The point of this lesson was about bringing forth a true, clear prophetic word and not adding anything to the word beyond what Holy Spirit speaks through you. The point being the glass in the mirror is the purpose of the mirror and the ornate frame has no purpose to what the glass purpose is. The frame is an addition to make the mirror look attractive, more appealing than just having a piece of glass mirror hanging on a wall. The frame adds but does not add to the purpose of the mirror. The point is to only bring forth pure, clear words from the Lord. Do not add anything to the word, that could mean adding your own thoughts and feelings to a prophetic word coming forth for a person. Do you understand this concept? Seek Holy Spirit if you should need further clarification in your life. He will highlight things that maybe you or others missed it with a prophetic word coming forth. We are all continually learning and growing in our giftings and yes, we can miss a word because we added our own knowledge or experience to the word we brought forth. Ask Jesus to forgive you and keep moving forward.

Do not put your trust in man but keep your steady trust in Jesus. I am seeing things that I am just not pleased with out there in ministry platforms and people are taking the bait. Ministers will be held accountable to God Almighty one day if they are pulling on the heart strings of trusting people to fund things they want in their lives. Why do the big platform ministers have miracles of grand size scale happen to them but people that follow these ministries are not stepping into miracles of this grand nature? I thought the preachers out there tell the followers that if you plant an offering seed into their ministry you will flow in alike anointing/miracles. Is that true or not?

Let me present something to you and you let me know if it is absurd or not ok. My birthday is coming up in a few days. I have been ministering via this blog since 2009 and I do not receive offerings at all from this platform or when I bring forth a prophetic word to a person, bake and give it away, etc. So, I then put out there a plea to honor me for all the years of my life with a certain dollar amount to give as a thank you for your ministry to others for each year I will be on my birthday. I have seen this in ministry and also giving thanks offering to a ministry for each year they have been ministering. I.E let's say 50-year celebration of being in ministry. It is referred to as honoring the minister/ministry. Is that what is called an emotional offering. So, if you do not participate in the designated offering then you are not honoring the person/ministry? What would Jesus have to say about this? I know I am ruffling some feathers with this concept but why are not people of God calling out this utter nonsense. 

It is causing me to see some ministries in a different light and they are elevating themselves on a platform high above the others that seem to follow the ministry. So, if an honorarium is collected, do they then turn around and have a grand celebration with the elite dignitaries invited but not the people that seem to be funding the ministry? I am having my eyes wide opened by Holy Spirit. So, all prior offerings I placed into a minister or ministry are they planted in not rich soil so as to grow? These are serious questions I have now. I am not a negative person in my nature I tend to see the good in people. Maybe I have been duped by some of the best and this is a learning curve for me. As sweet as it sounds in the moment do not give emotional offerings, make sure you truly heard from Holy Spirit what to give in an offering before you release the monetary seed to be planted.

Another word of warning is to not get too comfortable in being a repeat offering giver/donor. Yes, in the beginning and it could be for a bit of time the offerings were legitimate. You do not see the behind-the-scenes inner working of a ministry. Let's suppose the minister is truly genuine but there are questionable employees doing things that just may be questionable behind the ministers back so to speak. Like pilferage is taking place. A little bit taken here and there of ministry money so as to cover up their trail. Not one lump per say but throughout a time period this is happening. When a ministry is asking for financial help frequently it may cause you to wonder what they are doing in their finances of the ministry. See, when God has enough it will be exposed and expelled. Be patient and cautious where you plant money into a ministry.

Let's take it a step further if we may.  A ministry that you are donating to seems to never have enough money to make it run and are you finding in your own personal life the same thing happening? You may want to seek Holy Spirit about this. If the ministry is solid, then it would be flourishing not only ministry wise but financial wise too. So, whatever the anointing flowing in the ministry be it good or bad) trickles down from the head onto the people. 

Did Jesus in a bit of anger turn over the moneychanger's tables in disgust with what was going on in the church?  Scripture Matthew 21:12-13, "It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Did You Know That Many Years Ago I Was Frightened By Thunderstorms? Now, The Louder The Thunder, The Happier I Am.

Ever since being a little girl I was afraid of thunderstorms. I could care less about other aspects of a storm, lightening, pelting rain and howling wind did not bother me. For some reason it was the sound of thunder that frightened me, especially when it was the type of thunder that can cause the house to shake so to speak. You know the kind; it is so loud that if you have glass suncatchers on a window you can actually hear them vibrating from the force of the thunder noise as the storm is approaching.

I don't recall when, but I miraculously got delivered from that somewhere down the line. I remember getting ready to go to the hospital to deliver my first baby. I was talking with one of my friends and sharing what am I going to do if I am in the hospital and a thunderstorm happens. No one would be around to shield me or comfort me from the noise of thunder. That was a big concern of mine as I approached going to the hospital. I was way overdue from the due date, and I think I pleaded with my obstetrician to let's wait a little longer before I had to go into the hospital to be induced for labor and delivery. I was not some young child when I gave birth to my first child, for goodness's sake I was 27 years old and 4 years later I gave birth to my second child.

I think it must have been somewhere in between that I must have let go of this fear because I do not recall being worried about thunderstorms when I went to the hospital to have a second c-section with that birth. Feeling cheated I can answer yes to that. I prepared and took all the birthing classes to not be able to deliver both of my children in a natural way with medicine of course to take off the edge of pain. Having both arms strapped down in the delivery room during the operation to bring forth my babies which meant I did not get to hold them in my arms when they were born. I remember we even took a refresher type of class when we were preparing for our 2nd child to be born. They even offered a class for our daughter to participate in for preparing her to have a sibling. She made a welcome sign for her future sibling, and I think it was out when we came home from the hospital. I can only imagine the adjustment a 4-year-old had to make in her life with another one coming into our home. She was the center of attention for 4 years and now another comes into our family. I do not know that experience because I was the 3rd of 4 children born in my family. There was a gap in time between my 2 brothers and my sister and I being born. My eldest brother was 7 years older than me, and my other brother was 5 years older than me. My sister is 2 years younger than me.

I can sense when a storm is brewing in the atmosphere and yesterday was one of those days. After work I sat on my patio watching and waiting for the storm to come in. That is how I was able to take a few video clips as it was approaching my area. Oh, I tackled the problems with Japanese beetles, set out my wasp trap and captured 6 or so wasps and now I am working on flies that are annoying when I sit on the patio. At Lowe's you can purchase a fly trap. It is similar to the concept of the beetle trap. There is a pouch inside that the container of it dissolves in water and releases the scent that draws flies to it. Then they fly down into it and then they can't get out. Things like this fascinate me. I do not know why but I told you before I am a hope solutionist. 

The other day I was checking on the designer purses at a local Dirt Cheap store and discovered they reduced them from 70% off the ticket tag to now 25.00 for each purse. I was on a mission to get a few gifts. There was 1 purse in particular that I was waiting on to be reduced. I was holding out for 90% reduction, but I was ok with 25.00 per purse. One is a Patricia Nash fine leather that almost resembles suede in a beautiful emerald, green color. The other is a Vince Camuto leather purse that I think will be perfect for my sister's upcoming Viking cruise that was delayed for 2 years due to the China virus that affected our country. When is China ever going to pay us back all the money it cost our country?

I know there is a person out there that will bring China to their senses, and we will get re-imbursed if this person should become President of the USA. Land of the FREE because of the BRAVE. What's up with Smithfield Pork allowing China to get their pork and why are they not having allegiance to the people of the USA and keeping the pork products here? Why is China allowed to buy up USA farmland? Do people not see this happening? I think they do and that is probably why the people are going to vote in elections to have their voices/concerns heard. Really, illegals invading our country illegally and getting perk rewards for breaking our laws. If this was a movie and not reality you would leave the movie theatre shaking your heads but sadly enough this is reality in the current USA. Help God Help Your People, I cry out for those that are thinking these things but maybe don't vocalize them. Pray America, pray and cry out to God to heal our land and bring forth abundant blessings again.

Then inflation or whatever you call it is hitting our communities. I know because I converse with my neighbors. Rent increases as leases are being renewed are going up 300.00 per month and in another instance for renewing a lease less that 12 months 400.00 a month. This is absurd. Why does the current administration loathe our country and its citizens so much? That totally baffles me.

Hope solutionist is coming forth now ... start producing our own energy resources again then we can sell it to the European countries that so desperately need it. This is not some complicated thing; this is using common sense. Not complicated, not complicated one bit. Jesus Come Save Your People is my cry today what is yours?

After I Wrote This Morning I Fell Asleep Around 4am & Woke Up Almost Near 9am

See, while you may have been sleeping I was up writing on my blog. I then was blessed to catch up on sleep when I went back to bed around 4am my time. Woke up refreshed and I was ready to go do chores near 9am. I ironed clothes and then felt an inspiration to find a recipe using fresh chives since I have an abundance of them on my patio.

The recipe I found was Chive Batter Bread but you bake it in muffin liners. This is a yeast bread that you add corn meal to. I had no corn meal but did have polenta so I substituted that for corn meal after I searched to see if it could be substituted. The texture is a bit more course/grainy as corn meal is a finer texture. They turned out good.

I made sweet muffins and felt I needed to make a savory muffin too. I then made a savory butter with The Capital Hill spice I have. I even made a mini menu of what was what and in will.put that out by the muffins.

I found another fly trap. It kind of reminds me of the beetle trap. You mix water with the formula and somehow it draws flies to it. That solar bug zapper is definitely going back to the store. I found a refreshing shower gel scent today. Fresh Raspberry but there was no matching body cream. That's ok because I have Red Berry body cream and I think they will compliment each other. I had a full day today but those type of days make your heart sing at the end of the day.

Did I Not Tell You I Would See The Crape Myrtle Tree Bloom. I Composed This A Few Weeks Ago, I Wonder Why I Never Posted It Until Today? Do You Suppose It Is Holy Spirit Perfect Timing?

Here we go, a picture this morning while sitting on my patio. I still need to feed that tree and my other plants today with MiracleGro. God is faithful, He really is. Do you agree? While composing this I hear and see the hummingbird drinking nectar. This is what it does, it drinks some nectar then goes and rests in the crape myrtle tree then usually comes back for more nectar. Well, I think the solar power bug zapper will be going back to the store as a return. So far all I saw it do was turn on uv light @ night and no bugs in it. I placed it on the patio table and not one fly did it attract. Hey, you don't know if something will work unless you try it.

Why not try Jesus today? It is a lovely Sunday morning and He is waiting for you to call upon Him. Do you hear Him? If you feel a stiring within your heart that is a great indicator that today just may be the day to invite Him into your heart. If you feel that nudge of an angel trying to get you to the place to receive the plan of salvation you just may have landed there now.

I invite you to join in this heartfelt prayer to invite Jesus into your ❤. Confess this prayer out loud with your mouth and truly feel it in your ❤. "Jesus I am a sinner cleanse me of all sin. In faith I believe it is all done through the work You completed at Calvary. You took on the sins of the world so I could be washed clean of my sins. You were born of the Virgin Mary and walked this earth amongst us. You performed miracles, delivered people from things in their lives and chose to die on a cross. You rose from the dead 3 days later and are alive today, seated @ the right hand of the Father forever interceding for us. Thank you Jesus for loving us so greatly that you chose to save us by this choice you made. Salvation is a gift freely given to me so no man or woman can boast. A gift given to me directly from Jesus. Jesus I invite you into my ❤ to be with me forever. Teach me Your ways and how to walk with you daily. Amen."

My friend you are now born again and welcome to the family of God. Holy Spirit seal these words upon the 💕 of those that prayed this prayer. The moment you prayed that prayer all the angels in heaven rejoiced and your name was recorded into the Lambs Book of Life. Now go and share this great news with someone and if I may suggest (as I was composing this on the patio a hummingbird flew right up to me, even a bird can sense the presence of God flowing) getting a bible and start reading 1 chapter a day starting with the New Testament (book of Matthew.)

Yesterday, 7/23/2022 Was A Divine Appointment For Me @ The Pool Early Morning

I told you how I love my Holy Spirit adventures right? Yesterday morning along with a few stops during the day were all a part of my adventure with Holy Spirit yesterday. You gotta go on adventures with Him, the only way to go. I knew to be by the community pool near opening time, so I think I got there around 9:08AM. Now don't laugh at this but I have a routine when I go to the pool to read. Would you like to know what it is?  I do not know the people that go to the pool and what spiritual status they are walking in their lives that occupy the chaise lounge and chair I select for the day. I am pretty cautious about germ spreading to. I bring a can of disinfectant spray with me and before I put the beach towel on the chaise lounge, I spray it with disinfectant then put the towel down. I also recently started adding this to my prayer time/deliverance ministry time poolside. I used to just say no transference of any evil, yucky, ugly spirits come upon me when I sit in the chair or lay down in the chaise lounge. You do know you need to be cautious that other people's stuff does not transfer onto you right. It was a few weeks ago Holy Spirit gave me further insight on this topic while I was at the pool. I still take authority in what I just shared but this is the beauty in the additional prayer ... I deposit the anointing within me to transfer on the people that select that chaise lounge or chair. It goes something like this ... the anointing has been deposited on those pieces of furniture and if a non-believer or sinner chooses those pieces, they will get a conviction to turn from their sins and get to a place where they will get born again. Now wait, there is more ... the next layer is if a born-again believer selects these pieces of furniture that the anointing deposited there will cause them to have Holy Spirit experiences and Holy Spirit anointing will grow in them. Isn't that so clever, only Holy Spirit can show you insight like that.

An older in age man and woman come to the pool and walk past looking for the direction they will be seated at the pool. I think I said good morning to them and all of a sudden, I say to the man, do people tell you that you look like Ted Cruz, facial wise that is? He replied no to that, and I told him it was a compliment. I kept reading my book and they find a spot at the pool and begin to play Christian music. See, mature people will be courteous enough to ask if it is ok to play the music. I responded yes and acknowledged it was Christian music and I gave the thumbs up to increase the volume of the music. I brought with me to the pool a workbook by James Goll, Deliverance from Darkness and I was working through it. I love workbooks like this when you have to find the answers to the questions. As I am getting ready to leave the pool because I had other places to go to, I walked over to thank them for playing the Christian music and how I see that people should be gathering around the pool and praying and people getting water baptized in the pool. It opened up a discussion and they told me about a church in the city I reside in that has once a month worship gathering in the city square outside on a Friday night. I did some looking into this and apparently whatever money is raised from these events funds blessing the various schoolteachers in the community with a lunch or breakfast on a certain day. How beautiful is that the hands and feet of Jesus taking the love of Jesus into the schools to bless them.

I go home and get ready to go on my stops for the day. Oh, I see someone from the leasing office, and we talk about the Japanese beetles. Guess what? I think I just might be a hope solutionist because the pest control person is supposed to order for them some of those traps, I put out near me. We were looking over an area to possibly place one by the pool somewhere since I already read the directions on my trap package about placement. Downwind and 30 feet away from the flowering plants. Later that evening when I was sharing with a few neighbors about my pool adventure one of them said to me do you think you putting out the beetle trap has helped the crape myrtle trees because they noticed on the property that they are now all blooming. It is possible because the trap is supposed to cover 5,000 square feet. Oh, a few weeks ago I shared with the pest control person about these beetle traps and showed him what they look like outside. He said he was going to recommend it for another property he takes care of also. So, I recently asked him about it and guess what, it worked. He said their problem was June bugs not the beetles with a magnolia tree, but the trap also attracted the June bugs. I told him at the time to suggest it and that he should get the credit for the great solution idea he gave the other rental property. This property is a very nice place. Off to The YardSale Store because they had a buyout of Frito Lays snack boxes. 40 variety snacks in the box for 9.99. I purchased one for the snack drawer at work but there was so much supply I shared it with neighbors that evening. They even gave me a 5% discount because I inquired that the best buy date was 7/26/2022. I actually got them for 9.49. That night I took the opened box to two neighbors on my floor and said the snack person is here and did they want any for their lunches before I took them into work. Both neighbors took from the bounty of blessings. Let's see what the choices in the box were: regular and barbeque Lays chips, nacho Doritos, regular and chili cheese Fritos, Funyuns, Ruffles sour cream & onion, and Cheetos crunchy. Pretty good variety what do you think. I pulled out a few for me to have too and there is still many left to take into work. Wouldn't you like me working for your company, I create a snack drawer to bless my boss' and co-workers. A few weeks ago, I placed in the drawer a bag of Russell Stover's individually wrapped, pecan, hazelnut and sea salt pecan caramel chocolates. Last week when I checked the drawer there were only 2 left so I know people are enjoying them. Just because I create the snack drawer doesn't mean I am the only one that can place items in it, anyone is welcome to add to it to and people do, isn't that sweet? No one collects any money for this it is just a blessing drawer as I see it.

I also had to go to HomeGoods store in search of cute cupcake/muffin liners because this week I was going to bake muffins to bring into work. I used Betty Crocker muffin mixes, but I added to each batter. The triple berry mix I chopped up fresh raspberries and the chocolate chip mix I added white chocolate chips and some mini chocolate chips too. These liners are so cute, they are the paper type of liner with a blue-sky background and sunflowers on them. This was a box of 50 (25 of each design) for 4.99. I baked them last night. I did check the clearance section first, but the two choices just were not fit for work, 1 being to bless schoolteachers and the other was for Father's Day theme.

In between my afternoon stops I came home and watched the replay of the recent Trump rally on Newsmax and then off to Ollies. I was in search of a bug zapper they had in their weekly ad. I purchased a solar powered one and said not sure if it will catch the flies on the patio but that is ok if it doesn't work as long as you keep your receipt you have 30 days to return it. I am talking with my friend as I was heading home and shared about my God appointed encounters this past week when I watched replay videos of a class, I participated in 2020. Also invited her and her almost 91-year-old mother to come to the pool on the weekend but the catch is it has to be when the pool opens about 9AM sometime because I do not go out there when it gets really hot and crowded with people too because it does as the day progresses. Oh, as I was heading to one of my stops, I noticed a local pastor of a church and his wife were driving right behind me. I just kept worshiping in my car to BeBe & Cici Winans as I drove. So, my friend mentions if I would baptize her in the pool sometime? I responded I don't really go in the pool but for her I would because how do you baptize a person when you are not in the water with them. We talked about how you cannot force someone to do this, and I shared how my life changed even more so when I was water baptized as an adult. She said she would let me know when the time was right for her.

Are you following along in this sequence of events throughout the day yesterday? It all builds upon in layers to then bring these experiences into place to get to the person they are intended to share with. I told you I have great adventures with Holy Spirit. Oh, I had to stop in a local Walmart to take some info to drop off to someone I know that attends a local church I used to attend. We chit chat briefly as I am going through the checkout lane as she checks out my groceries I am buying. I wrote down the connector info and handed it to her while I was sharing about a minister that wrote a book, I purchased about the meanings of fragrances of God you smell, color meanings and also the meaning of trees too. I think that about covers my yesterday. It is almost 4AM here on 7/24/2022 and my face feels a bit warm, maybe I got a bit too much sun yesterday and will not go to the pool today this morning. I will watch live stream Jimmy Swaggart ministry church service though and I have a few pieces of clothing that need ironing too. I already made a fresh batch of unsweet green mint tea I keep in the refrigerator that is so refreshing to drink on a high temperature day outside.

Yesterday's Favorite Song Of Mine Brought To You By BeBe & CeCe Winans, "He Can Handle It." America Will Not Be Mocked Because GOD Can Handle It.

I was going through my CD's the other day and this one captured my attention. Yesterday, 7/21/2022 the song I played in repeat mode was "He Can Handle It" by BeBe & CeCe Winans. Not only do I like the snappy beat of the music but listen to the words. It may give the appearance to people watching what is going on in the USA like we are basically dumb, incompetent and just plain stupid in the nonsensical decisions being made about our country. Guess what? God can handle it for He is not a God that will be mocked. How many times will Holy Spirit have to remind the current administration that when God Almighty has enough of this nonsense going on it will only take 1 word from Him, and things will drastically change. When that happens, I would like to be on the safe side of that happening, which is on the side of God. Apparently, those delving into all of this nonsense gives the appearance they don't read their bibles is what it is looking like.

Take the word of God serious because there is a testimony written in the bible of the people having to choose what side they were on. Read Numbers 16:30 for yourself to see this. Those for God and those that opposed God and you do know what happened right? The earth opened up and swallowed those that opposed Him. See, we all have the choice of free will in our lives. Before they lost their lives by being swallowed up in the earth, they were given a choice to make, the decision of what side they were on. No one to blame but themselves if they were swallowed up by the earth. They were offered the opportunity to choose, and they made the decision that they made.

My father would tell me to choose wisely in life because he said to me even if you only have a split second to make a decision to choose wisely because once the decision is chosen and motion is the action of your decision there's no going back to change the decision. Does that make sense to you?

Gee, that sounds similar to making a decision in your life of where you will spend eternity, heaven or hell. It is too late to decide the outcome of your life once you take your last breath here on earth. Salvation needs to be made while you are still alive here on earth. With the way things seem to be looking now I would not put off making the decision to choose eternal life in heaven or eternal damnation in hell. Choose wisely because it will be too late when you die and find yourself in hell with eternal pain and suffering to go back and change your mind. This is a decision that must be made with your own free will while still being alive. Choose wisely because if you do not take this seriously you could find yourself joining with the group that were swallowed up by the earth many. many years ago. Something to think about isn't it. The choice is pretty plain and simple to ask Jesus into your heart and cleanse you of all of your sins because He chose to come to earth as a child. Walk this earth and then die on the cross taking on the sins of the world. Great news is that He rose from the dead 3 days later and He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for you. The other choice is to serve the devil, satan (I just will not give him the satisfaction of capitalizing his name when I reference him) the master deceiver that comes to steal, kill and destroy. That choice will land you a life in hell for all eternity with suffering, pain and flames of the lake of fire in which there is no reprieve from that suffering. The choice appears to be quite plain to live a life in heaven with Jesus which is beautiful or pain and great suffering in hell with satan. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out, life of beauty or life of true pain for all eternity. I have heard that once in hell you will also be tormented with the thoughts of how this one or that one came to you with the plan of salvation when you were alive, and you chose not to receive it. There is no going back to undo your decision once your final breath is made here on earth. Do you really want a life of regret with you not being able to change your mind at that point? Do you want a life of beauty with Jesus for all eternity because you chose that decision here on earth?

This is not me making things up. Pick up a bible and read it for yourself. The word of God which is alive and well.

Next subject now. Firestone how can you possibly justify giving a quote for changing a low beam headlight bulb at the cost of 146.00? I was quoted that the other day to change a low beam headlight bulb. I searched around and then found out Walmart auto care center did it for 7.50 plus the cost of purchasing the headlight bulb. See, I have been using the estimate quotes of Firestone when work needs to be done on my vehicle sort of the way out of line estimate pricing that is out there. This is not something new I have been gauging this for a few years now. How can they consistently be so outrageous in their quotes for potential work to be done on your car? Glad to see a few other auto repair companies are building businesses right down the road from them. The competition price war has begun at least where I reside that is.

People especially women do not like to be taken advantage of when it comes to auto repair. Stand up for yourself women ok. Just yesterday this happened to me. The day before I was quoted a certain price for an oil change and the bulb replacement, and I came back the next day when they suggested to be there by a certain time. I am now greeted with another man that begins to tell me the cost of the work is now higher than yesterday's quote. Listen to this lame reasoning, yesterday they had the synthetic oil needed and now the next day they no longer had it and you had to pay a higher premium to purchase the same oil but this time in the bottle? I never heard of such a thing they had it yesterday and I was there close enough to closing that they suggested coming back the next day and the manager also told me he had the oil order placed and have been waiting a month so far for it to come in. Sounds a bit fishy to me. I then replied something to the effect that he is trying to rip me off because I am a woman. Do you know what he did? He told me this conversation is over and walked away I then went to another Walmart. As I was driving away, I had to quote scripture that the joy of the Lord is my strength. I reminded satan that no man can give me joy or take it from me because I would not allow it.

First thing I did at the other location was to inquire if they had the oil needed, they did. Apparently, the person at the register of the initial location also pulled the wrong part that was supposed to be the bulb replacement because they quoted me 6 something for the part and then 7.50 to replace it. What is going on out there. I see on the screen that the bulb actually cost 22 something and I agreed to replace it along with the oil change. The work is now done, and I get the invoice before I pay. I now see the cost of the bulb being 29 something and I question it. Apparently, the mechanic just went and got a replacement bulb and did not get the 22 bulb I was quoted but a 29 bulb. The manger in auto care could not help me in this matter of principle I had so I requested to speak to the store manager that did have authority in this matter. All he asked was what was the dollar amount difference in the 2 bulbs and when he heard it, he gave the ok to charge me the original price. Did you know that when you get an oil change at a place like Walmart the only topping off of fluid in your vehicle is windshield wiper fluid? Those days are gone unless you go to a dealership or garage of them topping off the fluids in your car. Imagine that!

Someone needs to come up with the concept again of having gas stations that are full service like it used to be. They pump the gasoline and check under the hood of the car too. People I do believe just might be willing to go back to a full-service neighborhood gas station what do you think?

Final closing thought. How can families with children possibly afford to pay for groceries and school supplies etc. today? While waiting for my car to be done I walked around Walmart and just kept thinking to myself that I am glad my children are grown now because how in the world would I be able to afford to buy groceries for them with todays inflated prices.

Holy Spirit has been moving in my life ever so strong and powerful the last few days as I followed through with Him nudging me to watch the 8 session video replays from a class, I participated in 2020, "Discerning the Times and Seasons for 2020."  I think in my humble opinion that this may have taken place in the year 2020 but it is definitely for me in 2022. I felt the unction to go on a journey last Saturday in search of a white stone. I knew where to go and get it. I went online first to see if there were any new stones by 12 Stone Art I would like and what business establishments carry them locally for purchase too. I selected one and it sits on my kitchen counter facing me when I am at my computer. I also keep one in my desk drawer at work and that one simply says on the stone PEACE. No matter where you work would you not like to experience peace in the atmosphere? You should want that and pray into that, it works. I noticed on their website a stone that has an ocean scene at the bottom, but it is the scripture verse coupled with the scene that I really like. I inquired of it with the shop owner, and they placed an order for me to get that very one. I will be contacted when it comes in. I also found another local establishment that carries these stones too. Their stock looked a little depleted so I inquired if they will be getting in more stock. They took down my info and they then contacted me when they reached the vendor, they gave me the time frame when more stock will be in the store, The Painted Tree. Thank you for such stellar customer service you displayed with my inquiry. Oh, if you should happen to go to this store when you first walk in there is a candle display from Swans Creek Candles. Do buy yourself a candle or 2 because they are very good quality candles made from soy. How do I know this brand? They used to be where I lived in Ohio in our downtown location. Isn't that interesting that Holy Spirit brings a bit of Ohio to the region I currently live in. Still need an excellent Jewish deli/bakery to come to this region like we have in Ohio. Oh, and don't forget about bringing to this region a Great Croatian sausage shop too.

I do not really burn candles much anymore, but I do like the fragrance melts, I think they are more fragrant and waft lovely in the air. I bought a Swans Creek Candle Co. Break Apart Drizzle Melts Whipped Almond Frosting. It is heavenly when I burn it. Good things come forth from Ohio, hey, I came forth from there right.

I wish you could smell this; it is dreamy.

A Few Weeks Ago I Was Speaking With A Couple After Church Service & They Shared Something With Me About My Jewish Heritage. Want To Know What It Is?

You have to know something about me, Holy Spirit takes me to places He tells me others do not want to go but I say yes to Him & go. This was 1 of those occasions. I knew in advance to compose with Holy Spirit direction a note along with 2 offerings contained within it. Give to the speaker after the service not to place in the church offering collection for the ministry to then write a check to the minister that spoke that day. This somehow never seems to get easier for me in the moments prior to following through with Holy Spirit unction. Why is that, I know my Father in heaven and the voice of Holy Spirit so why a bit of intimidation then? Because I step out in faith and no matter how many times, I have done this before it just never seems to get easier even though there is ALWAYS confirmation each and every time, I do step out in faith. That day was no different than any other time.

I knew this much Holy Spirit showed me starting the conversation ...from 1 Ohio born and raised person to another I bring this to you. I then handed the speaker the envelope. We then share different areas in Ohio I was from, and they were from also. When I began to share how I lived in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood while attending JCU for college and that I discovered I am Jewish thru DNA testing a few years ago. Then the conversation caught my attention. They asked me what side my Jewish blood came through, your father or mother's side? I responded it came through my mother's side, my great, great grandmother. Wow he began to share that if the Jewish comes through the maternal side of your family you qualify for Aliyah in Israel. I didn't have a clue about what this was about. It sure did cause me to do a bit of research afterward.

Do you think God is up to something in my life? I think He is, and it is all in His timing that the fullness will be revealed. I look in each day to see if I get another piece of the big picture puzzle for me to fill in. I go on really great adventures, I do. Recently I have been nudged to view replay videos of a class I participated in 2020, it is now 2022 and the classes seem to be more pertinent to me now then back then. I was watching one of those videos and that very night when the presenter spoke of the vault of the past, I had a dream. What do you think was in the dream? A person I was in ministry with over 20 years ago. Sitting on a park bench wearing blue shirt and trousers giving me a serious type of look. When I woke, I knew I had to somehow contact this person from the past. We somehow missed each other's phone calls until 1 day the connection took place. On this particular day I still did not know anything other than to bless this person with a prophetic word of encouragement. In between me placing the call and then receiving a call back Holy Spirit had me write down the very words to read when they called me.

This is how God works in my life. I knew to give a brief update of what I have been doing where I live now. I shared that at 1 time I sat under a minister (meaning I was enrolled in a mentoring program) and said their name. This person responded that the minister was a good man. I asked if he ever came to CNC, the church I used to attend. They responded yes and this minister brought a good prophetic word to a mutual person within the church we both knew. An elder that actually taught me lessons on the prophetic. I really did learn much while I attended this church. I learned how to flow in my gifts along with receiving correction too, to make me the woman of God I am today. While going through this growth process is not easy, the fruit that comes forth years down the road is well worth it. Is this God's timing or what? I inquired about this elder in the church and literally days prior he went to be with the Lord I was told.

Oh, the most important point in this adventure is just by stepping out in faith I was told I brought a timely prophetic word of encouragement to them because they needed to hear that. So, I say I am pulling on the prophetic in you and they then shared about a potential ministry they want to bring to the church. They further share the connector minister that could help them with this is believe it or not, under the covering of the very person today that brought forth a prophetic word to my home church years ago. This must have been prior to me attending this church. What are the odds of this story that I moved from Ohio to Atlanta to then accept a job in the Nashville region and moved to a state where I knew no one? No family or friends that is. One step in faith and imagine that!

Look What I Woke Up To Today, 7/10/2022, When I Opened My Patio Door Blinds. Beauty To Behold.

I told you yesterday that blooms were about to come forth on my hibiscus plant. I woke up to one of those this morning. Well, I fell asleep last night again while on the couch and woke up @ 1:11 and went to bed. No sleep again and I realized it when I looked at the clock and it was now 2:22. Do you think there is something there with these 2 times on the clock? I met someone yesterday at the store that I knew. I wanted to use up some of the Rice Krispy cereal I had left from making Rice Krispy treats last weekend. I searched the other day and found a recipe for cookies. I was now at the store trying to decide if I should purchase and use peanut butter chips or caramel drops in the recipe. She said to try the caramel because that would go good with chocolate chips in the recipe. I was going to bake yesterday but my day was full, so I thought bake this morning. I was already up so here I was baking cookies @ 6:00am. This was a good recipe I would consider making it again. You have to like these ingredients to like these cookies: oatmeal, coconut, krispy cereal, chocolate chips and caramel drops. Sometimes I have found that a recipe will tell you to bake it for so many minutes and I find you have to bake it longer. This recipe was right on target, bake for 16 minutes. I got over 60 cookies from this recipe. I had a cute treat bag, so I filled it with a baker's dozen and also printed the recipe for this person when I saw them at church today. I delivered the cookies this morning. I also set some aside to take into work along with the recipe too.

It was around 8:00AM and I wanted to vacuum and then go over the surfaces with my Haan steam cleaner, I also did that and ironed some clothes too. Holy Spirit had me compose a letter a few days ago and tuck an offering in it. I did not know this couple, but I did get brave enough to speak with them after church and gave the letter to them. It is so nice to speak with people from a state in which you were raised in. I knew the cities we talked about. From there I went to a local Dirt Cheap store to see if there were any Temptations by Tara items @ 70% off. I found a few pieces yesterday along with Lock N Lock containers to set aside for when I bake @ Christmas time. I found a "Giving" plate, but I am keeping that and not giving that away because I do bake and bless others with the baked goods. This is a lovely Christmas design plate with red cardinals on it. Isn't that so me? There was nothing at this particular store, but I still went and looked after church. The designer leather purses are still @ 70%. I asked if they would go to 90% and the manager said no. I think there will come a point when they need to clear out merchandise to bring in new and just maybe they will be reduced to 90% then, let's see.

I was leaving the store and a woman was pulling out of her parking spot as I was heading to my car. She rolled down her window and asked if she could share something with me, I said ok. She shared that she liked my style of dress/outfit and that I walked with confidence. I said do you mind if I can be honest with you, and she said ok. I let her know it is Holy Spirit that speaks to me what to wear and what she is seeing is Jesus in me. Maybe, just maybe, Holy Spirit wanted me to go to this store today to witness about Holy Spirit in my life. I was willing and obedient and Holy Spirit showed up. That is how it works my dear friends, that is how it works. Let Jesus shine through you to share your testimony with others wherever He sends you ok. I did take a brief nap this afternoon while sitting in a chair in my living room. I think I am going to go sit in the sun and read another book I am starting to read today. Peace to all when there may be up rest in your life because we win at the end. Those are not my words; read the bible and you will see for yourself.

Still trying to get used to this new hairstyle, not quite there yet. Patience and creativity are what it takes while in the process of attaining the goal.

Yesterday, 7/9/2022, My Brother Ricky Would Have Turned 69 Years Old.

I meant to share this yesterday, but time slipped away from me. I was busy yesterday running errands and believe it or not I was up since 2:00AM that morning. I fell asleep on the couch and then went to bed but just could not sleep. I then heard a great rainstorm sweep through my region early morning. I was actually sitting on my patio about 6:00AM eating breakfast and enjoying my decaf flavored coffee, Michigan cherry flavor. I got home late afternoon from doing chores. There are days in which bursts of energy blesses you so get done what can be done in those moments. Even in the midst of the high temperature/humidity I still got things done. I also watered my plants & the crape myrtle tree with Miracle-Gro too. I was talking with one of my neighbors and they have plants on their patio. I asked them if they wanted to water their plants too with what I still had in the watering can, they did. I also gave them some fresh picked dill. I am noticing a few more eggplants starting to grow, and I already harvested 1 cucumber with others growing. The yellow/orange cherry tomatoes are plentiful, and I keep getting fresh tomatoes from the vine. I transplanted some of my carnations I grew last year into their own container. I had them in the same container as the tomato plant. I am about to see hibiscus blooms waiting to burst forth. Looks like the Japanese beetles have slowed down now, and I put up my wasp trap. Too many of them at least in my patio space so I pulled out my wasp trap from storage. I used it last week with sugar water and about 3-4 were in it. When I used to use this in Ohio, I remembered that sugary type of soda really draws them better. So, I bought a can of Coke yesterday and let's see if that works better. If I can find the picture, I will post it of the number of bees/wasps one summer this very contraption caught. I stopped counting because there were so many at the time.

I was pondering on this thought yesterday ... do you think my brother Ricky if he got married like he planned on doing when he got home from his travel would have brought nieces or nephews into my life. I also thought I wonder if they celebrate birthdays in heaven. Is it a celebration of the day you were born into the world or the day you were born into the family of God when you invited Jesus into your heart? Maybe they celebrate both birthdays. I know for sure there are great bakers in our family that are in heaven now. Do you think they had a family meal concluding with a wonderful birthday cake? Sometimes these are things I ponder on.

Do You Bake To Bless Your Local Neighborhood Farm Stand Owners/Staff? I Did Yesterday.

Be creative and expand your boundaries for life is too short to miss God encounter opportunities presented to you by Holy Spirit. Yesterday was 1 of those opportunities. I harvested 3 more of my eggplants and needed to get a few more from my local farm stand I frequent to supplement a recipe I was making. I also needed zephyr squash and a pepper.

It was very early in the morning when I woke up and I sensed to make Rice Krispy Treat squares. I am not a particular fan of them but Holy Spirit showed me making them to take a plate to the local farm stand to bless them with it. I was @ 1 store early to get a few ingredients needed. Came home and made the recipe. While they set and cooled I went to the pool to read. Got back then got ready to go where I needed to go yesterday. I was on a mission to get a few things needed. First stop was to the farm stand. I saw 1 of my favorite staff members there and handed her the plate of treats and told her it was for them to enjoy for all the times they take care of me when I go there.

Next stop Dollar General. Needed a matching hummingbird sort of windchime to match the 1 I bought last week. There was 1 left. As I was checking out in self check out I needed assistance because it was ringing up as 0.01 and not a dollar. The manager told me it was part of a 1 cent sale that they must have missed sending it back. She said she would honor the 1 cent price. I never heard of 1 cent sales @ Dollar General before, have you?

I had to get another small shepherds hook for one of my hummingbird feeders. I borrowed it for the beetle trap. Could not find one so I thought outside of the box. A flag holder that had sort of a hook on it. Brought it home and it works just fine anchored in my Hosta plant container.

The point of this message today is to not miss Holy Spirit appointments with destiny. Your very destiny just may be connected to another's. Think outside of the box because that is when creativity takes place.

Gotta go for Holy Spirit is beckoning me to go on an adventure with Him. So fun so fun, yes they truly are fun. Gotta refresh the hummingbird nectar first, very important to keep it fresh and the feeder clean too. What is your adventure going to be today?

This Is So Exciting. Just Saw The Mama Cardinal Sitting On The Eggs She Laid In The Nest In The Crape Myrtle Tree. New Life Is On The Horizon ...

I am going to share 2 pictures I just took of the crape myrtle tree actually beginning to blossom. Each time though no matter how many times I snapped a shot it would not come out clear. I see a haze type of look around this tree. Just maybe it is the presence of God resting upon this tree in which the miracle of birth is about to erupt. I very much so believe in moments like this. I took a series of pictures and then deleted them because it was not a crystal clear type of picture.

Today is feed all the plants Miracle-Gro day. I water the patio plants first then save some to water the crape myrtle tree. That is exactly what I just did. So, while I am watering the tree I gently part the tree branches to check on the nest. Low and behold what should my wondering eyes appear, mama cardinal sitting on the eggs in the nest. She saw me, she surely did for she was sitting @ an angle in the nest where her left eye was not only seeing me but watching me too.

My heart lept with joy as I gently put the branches back for her to have privacy. How sweet, how sweet is that. I do believe the shekinah glory of God is resting upon this tree awaiting the birth of baby cardinals.

I find this rather interesting when I was pondering about this 1 day. Cardinals are a pronounced bird of Ohio as the eagles are there too. I don't think I have to keep going back to catch a glimpse here and there do I. He brought eagles to a state park in Nashville and now, cardinals right off of my patio. If he could bring an excellent Jewish deli/bakery and Croatian sausage shop to Nashville region that would be just fine. Also I would like for Him to bring a mourning dove pair and a visit from an eagle to the very property where I currently reside. He is God and I have great faith in believing for this. 

Hey, when I moved from 1 property to another property He had hummingbirds find me then. Even though it was near the end of their season before they migrated south they found me and come back each year. To God be the GLORY.

Still Contending To See More Blooms On The Crape Myrtle Tree. Already Captured MANY Japanese Beetles. I Will Not Allow Them To Overtake This Tree.

Let me share with you that the Spectracide brand Bag-A-Bug Japanese Beetle Trap works. I filled 1 bag with lots of beetles. What I would do is use the water & dish soap solution I would make up and pour it on the beetles already in the bag. To make sure they were dead. I filled up a bag and then replaced it with another bag. I then re-read the instructions and found out I missed a big step the first time around, place it 30 feet downwind from the flowering tree/plants. I did it this time not knowing if it would still work. It is working and the bag is filling up again. I see a few blooms on the tree but I want to see more. I have even fed the roots of the tree a couple of times with Miracle-Gro.

I have lots of cherry tomatoes turning ripe. I am seeing the cucumbers begin to grow and I already harvested 3 small eggplants. I peeled them, then cut them in cubes and soaked them in salt water to draw out any bitterness there might be in them. I soaked them for a couple of hours and the water actually turns a brownish color. I made ratatouille with the eggplant along with other fresh vegetables. I really seasoned it with red pepper flakes to give it a bit of a kick. I also planted a few more parsley seeds and they are beginning to grow too. I have lots of fresh dill and chives. I like when I sit on the patio, and you can catch a whiff of fresh dill as the wind blows gently in the direction.  I already had 1 bloom on my hibiscus plant too. Gardening, even on a patio is fun. This morning while on my patio I wish I had my phone to take a picture, but I didn't have it with me. There was the male cardinal bird sitting on a branch of the crape myrtle tree watching over the bird nest. Can you tell that I enjoy the sights and sounds of nature? Here are a few pictures.

Here's a side note that is kind of funny. Remember when I made the Dolly Parton Banana cake mix recipe and said I will not make it again because it was messy putting the cake together with a pudding layer and whipped cream as part of the frosting? I was speaking with someone I gave some of that cake to. They told me they gave some to their son and he liked it. He asked if they bought this cake from Publix. That made me laugh because I am not making that cake again. I guess people liked what they tasted in the finished product. How funny is that!
