America Wake Up & Quit Quibbling. Listen To The Song That Brought Tears To My Eyes This Evening.

I was with friends the other day and I suggested to one friend to buy the Michael W. Smith cd, "Hymns II Shine on Us." As I was talking about that very cd I said I have to bring that cd out again and listen to it. My "go to" song is "Down to the River and Pray." I listened to that song several times and then I was drawn to listen to the other favorite song on the cd, "America The Beautiful (Oh Beautiful For Spacious Skies.") I listened to this song on the way to work a few times. Since I had it set on "repeat" mode I began to listen to it on the way home from work today. I did not just get tears in my eyes but I began to cry. Listen to the words, words of truth and we should stand up in honor and respect of this very song.
This simple yet powerful song has deep meaning behind it. As I was listening and crying too Holy Spirit spoke to my heart about something personal, a personal revelation to me for my life. I then began to cry more. So, be still and do not quibble for life is short and the time spent quibbling could be time better spent showing love and kindness to others. I speak PEACE to our very country and the hearts of those that listen to this very song. It makes you want to stand up and place your hand upon your heart and show reverence to the American Flag and then state out loud The Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of The United States of America. Many people fought for the freedoms we have this very day in our country and lost their very lives doing so. They thought that freedom is a high price to pay to keep us safe and protected from harms way. If you should know a veteran that served for our great nation not only thank them but do something kind for them. If you do not have a family member or acquaintance that is a veteran then maybe you can do the same if you should see one wearing a veteran related shirt or hat and bless them for the service they chose to serve for our freedom.
