Is He in total control in your life, He should be. Wipe those tears of regret away today and rejoice in the glimpses He gave to you in those very moments of despair or regret ok. Look beyond the moment of disappointment you may recall and if you dig deep enough you will see all along He knows what He is doing.
Yes, maybe you thought something might have happened by now and you may feel a bit let down but turn that frown upside down and smile & rejoice. If it would have happened when you wanted it to happen it may not be as grand as when it actually does take place. When it takes place greater glory will go to God and not man manipulating time.
I was able to feed my outdoor plants with MiracleGro today. I do believe I see my first carnation bud growing now. In Winter it decides to grow, imagine that! I planted the carnations from seeds, let's see what happens. I noticed amongst the mulch some dill is growing. Must have fell to the ground from the dill I planted in patio containers. I will not consume that dill but I still gave it some MiracleGro nourishment too.
My mother resides @ a location where many business retired professionals live. She shared with us the directory of residence they are given. There are creative talents amongst them. I am going to show you some of my creative Christmas gifts given to me this year. The bird painting is my mother's first painting she ever did and I requested that as a gift. She gave the 2nd painting to my sister and then each month as she paints she will bless the grandchildren with a Nana work of art/love. Isn't that a lovely plan.
One resident used to own a yarn shop and makes infinity scarves. Another resident is an artist and collects shells. She preps them/cleans them in a certain manner (this process takes time) then hand paints them. The angel artwork is from a former neighbor of my sister that is retired and creates artwork using pieces of glass as part of the design. Can you see how I love to surround myself with creative design. I appreciate the time one puts into creative projects they love to create.
I will make sauteed shrimp with mushrooms and onions in butter, lemon and a splash of white cooking wine for tonight and make enough to have for tomorrow too. I make angel hair pasta to mix with it and then a sprinkle of parmesan cheese too. I do have some ricotta cheese should I try to make home made gnocchi instead of using angel hair pasta? I used to make this more when I lived in GA.
Two older in age women retired this week from where I work. We had a little gathering one day and we could bring in other items to add to what was being served. It was a breakfast theme so I baked a new recipe. You use crescent roll dough as the base. Bake it in the oven then take 10 eggs, milk and it called for oregano and I do not like oregano so I substituted "everything but the bagel" seasoning from Trader Joe's. Then you add 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese and 2 cups of cheddar cheese. I had some fresh parsley still growing on my patio so I chopped some of that up and added it. Oh, you brown and crumble 1 lb. pork sausage and that is placed on top of the crescent crust then you top it with the egg mixture. Bake it in the oven 45-50 minutes. People liked it. I wanted to try out a new recipe, Family Sized Cream Puff. Think of a cream puff about 8 or so inches in circumfrence. I pre-sliced that and placed each piece in a cupcake liner to be easier to serve. See, if you reach deep inside yourself you will find things to be grateful for. These 2 ladies were a blessing to me while I worked with them. You give honor where honor is due. We had a little presentation in which plaques were presented to them. The supervisors asked if anyone wanted to say something. I simply spoke out that both of them were a blessing to our team. If you keep your tongue silent then blessing words will not be spoken. One more thought ... as you follow Holy Spirit prompt to speak forth then you just may be saying the sentiment others are thinking but may be bashful to speak forth.
I submit this with a heart that is overflowing with gratitude/thanks for 2021.
Yesterday I was seeking scripture confirmation on something and Holy Spirit opened via my hand the bible to Isaiah 19. It is very interesting that I notated in the margin on 9/26/2020 this, "Holy Spirit was speaking to me about Nashville while reading this there is a white tent revival taking place there now."
In the next pictures can you see the dill and the carnations bud in the 1 picture? The other picture is a patio container with more carnations plants growing.
