I went and pulled out my old Catholic bible because I knew it has 2 books in this bible that other bibles do not incorporate, 1 Maccabees and 2 Maccabees (they follow the book of Esther in this particular bible.) Too much history type of writing today as probably it was back when I read this bible years ago. I noticed I did not have any lines underlined or notes in the margins either. I just am not a history buff kind of gal. I was drawn to this bible by Holy Spirit so I knew there was something already within the pages of this very bible that I needed to find and then read.
Found it in Daniel 5. See, I notated a few insights on 12/1/1997, hum it is 12/1/2021 today which makes it 24 years ago. Already waiting for me to find tucked away in the pages of this bible for me to share. I find things like this fascinating; I am praying/singing in tongues during my candle lighting and I do believe Holy Spirit had me divinely find this today at the dawn of this new day. Ok now I jotted down a bit of notes in the margins, meaning top, side and bottom of the page then carried it onto the bottom and side margin of the next page. Here goes me transcribing. I must admit my writing/printing was much neater then compared to maybe me jotting down notes/inspiration at times now in my bible. Did you know there are times I have to get out a magnifying glass to try and decipher my own handwriting at times. Sometimes the words come so fast I don't think about it but just capture the words rapidly as they flow to me.
"For 2 days now, the Lord keeps opening up my bible to Daniel 1:17-on this day He had me read on & complete chapter 6 (Chapter 1:17 thru 6:29.) This was @ 10:30AM, Refer to in Acts 12 agreement with these words given to me. Pride and arrogance will take you down in the eyes of God. Never let your heart and spirit harden. You must always give the praise, glory & honor back to God. For your great works come to pass only through and with the hand of God upon you - you are the vessel, the servant God inspires & does all the work so that the glory goes back to God. Woe to those that try to bring down or harm those that the Lord has His hand upon to do mighty works for the kingdom of God. For their fate is not favorable. It will be revealed to you & shown those that block you now and they will be removed from your path for you My daughter serve a loving & just God that does not tolerate injustice and the taking down of My people - My chosen people. Go forth in song & praise & dance this day. Amen."
There were 2 sections in Daniel 5 that I highlighted with *'s so let me share them with you also.
Daniel 5:20-21 "But when his heart became proud and his spirit hardened by insolence, he was put down from his royal throne and deprived of his glory; he was cast out from among men and was made insensate as a beast; he lived with wild asses, and ate grass like an ox; his body was bathed with the dew of heaven, until he learned that the Most High God rules over the kingdom of men and appoints over it whom he will.
So, let's follow the trail now to Acts 12. On 12/2/1997 I notated more words in the margins of this scripture. "This was given to me in regard to the scripture and words given on 12/1/1997 Daniel 1:17 thru 6:29. Caron called me this day the Lord inspired her to share with me in the same chapter 2 incidents of angels in the case of Peter he acknowledged the hand of God was upon his being set free & he gave the glory & honor to the Lord. It was not of his hand or will but of the will of the Lord. In the case of Herod he cried out " This is the voice of a god, not of a man." He took the glory & honor away from God & brought it to himself - which resulted in death. There is much seriousness in not giving the glory & honor to the Lord. One was set free and the other resulted in death - a death that wasn't pleasant - imagine being eaten by worms."
So looking forward to lighting the purple candle in the menorah tonight along with the song Holy Spirit gives to me to play in "repeat" mode while I pray in tongues.
