I not only had breakfast on the patio but I also cleaned up a few patio plants like removing already bloomed pansies and cutting off brown sections of my fresh parsley. I then took off the patio my holiday garland and stored it. All along this process I kept getting nudged to go get the book I mentioned and sit on the patio with it. I discovered at one time I must have tucked inside the front of the book a writing I penned with no date attached to it. If you know me at all you know I date and time stamp my writings/journal entries. So, since there is none then let's assume this was sitting in the wings waiting to be shared today, 1/1/2022.
"Joshua 10:2 I am @ the pool facing the sun's direction (I was actually sitting @ the pool where I reside when I received this writing) & Holy Spirit has me read this:
A few verses stood out to me today even though I underlined them 12/7/2013
11:The Lord threw huge hailstones on them. More died from the hailstones than from Israelite swords." I notated in my bible beside the verse "The hand of God is more powerful than the hand of man."
Verse 25: Don't be afraid or terrified! Be strong & courageous, because this is what the Lord will do to all the enemies you're fighting against."
Very interesting in Exodus 9: the 7th plague was hail. Pharoah made an agreement with Moses. Pharoah told Moses he had sinned he told them "the Lord is right, and my people and I are wrong. Pray to the Lord, we've had enough of God's thunder and hail. I'll let you go; you don't have to stay here any longer. Moses replied "as soon as I'm out of the city, I'll spread my hands to the Lord in prayer, the thunder will stop, and there will be no more hail. This is how you will know that the earth belongs to the Lord. But I know that you and your officials still don't fear the Lord God."
34: "when Pharoah saw that the rain, the hail, and the thunder had stopped, he sinned again. He and his officials continued to be stubborn. Pharoah was stubborn and would not let the Israelites go, as the Lord had predicted through Moses."
There were still 3 more plagues to follow. As we move onto our callings there will be Pharoah's in our lives to try to distract you from your purpose/plan of God in your life. Do not cave in to them but keep your eyes/focus on the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Trust with all your heart in God & lean not on your own understanding & He will continue to direct your path.
Look not at all the pestilence & drama you see around you but focus on the "Kiss of Peace" from God & let not your heart be troubled but believe again. The dreams, the visions from the Lord are real & alive - activate the not yet fulfilled dreams/visions/words of the Lord spoken to you for you will finish well thus saith the Lord & all Greater Glory will go to God & not man. Amen."
As I conclude this while sitting on my patio the winds are starting to pick up in the natural. Even though the sky appears to have patches of blue sky it is mixed with clouds too. When I lived back in Ohio there would be times when you could just sense in the atmosphere a storm was brewing off of Lake Erie. Sure enough the storm came through onto the land via it starting/taking place on the lake. I am not by any lake per say now but that same sense is in the atmosphere, maybe a great storm is brewing on the horizon. I truly love when big storms come because there is just something about the powerful punch so to speak that the storm brings with it.
Years ago I was climbing a mountain in Medjugorje with fellow pilgrims and I kept asking the Lord to bring in a mighty storm so I could experience a Moses type of experience. He sure did bring in that storm with dark clouds and all. We could actually see it in the distance starting to form. As it approached us someone asked me what I was praying as we were getting wet from the storm. I replied that I wanted a Moses type of experience. Oh by the way, I do believe we were at the top of the mountain as this took place. See, I told you God is faithful. It dissipated as we went back down the mountain.
I do believe if you searched my blog you will find those pictures somewhere.
As I conclude this I just received a weather watch/warning of a tornado watch and wind advisory. Bring on the storms and watch God's power a8nd might prevail through all storms. What exciting times in which we live in do you agree?
Here's the start of the rain. Now heavier rain I told you God is faithful. It is now 77 degrees outside.
