More Thoughts On Billboards. Why Would A Radio Station That Plays Christian Music Have A Picture Of Santa Claus On Their Billboard Advertisement?
That one baffles me. If you are suppose to be a radio station that plays Christian music then why are you mixing Christmas with Santa Claus? Christmas is about the birth of Jesus not if Santa Claus listens to your radio station. Are you afraid to take a stand for Jesus or do you want to be a user-friendly/seeker-friendly radio station. I am not sure for certain but my guess is that you do not offer preaching programs on this station, the gospel message being offered to the listeners so they can grow in the knowledge of Jesus. You probably play top 40 Christian songs and not worship songs or even the good old fashioned gospels songs and hymns. Another billboard advertisement for the same radio station mentions "A Good Clean Christmas" what are you trying to say with that one? Is there such a thing as a Christmas that is not clean? I think you are making reference to the type of music you play. Why not make it a good clean Christmas season by sharing the gospel message with your listeners so they will know about heaven. The best gift given to them would be a Christmas that offered them salvation through Jesus so they can have the assurance of living in heaven for all eternity.
