Yesterday, 10/2/2021 There Were 2 Things I Wanted To Do, 1 Thing I Was Prompted By Holy Spirit To Complete. All Were Achieved.

See, I am a person that somehow sees things in a different perspective. I see from the eyes of restoration and not present circumstances. I am given the grace to see future outcome with hope arising as opposed to gloom and doom of current situations. I know I have the gift of faith because it does come up when I do spiritual gifts analysis type of tests. The gift of faith is a little bit different then faith. You are blessed to see through eyes that it is already the good/great outcome even when it may not appear like that in the natural. I can move in the gift of faith so readily for others then for myself it seems to be. I know it, I sense it, I can even see it in my life but activating it is sometimes a bit of a challenge to me. Not that I don't have faith but I tend to have really great faith for others in their lives and circumstances. I see it, I pray it, I beleive it and it is done that is how I operate.

I knew yesterday morning to put together a hope filled message of encouragement and send it in the mail. Hold on, going to the post office was always apparently a part of my yesterday journey as I look back on it, the adventure that is. I woke yesterday and while sitting on the patio enjoying the lovely fall type of weather that I wanted to take a country ride and get some apples too. Not far from the post office is the local farm I go to to get produce. In the moment of leaving the post office I could have turned one direction or the other. I debated do I really need to go to the farm ? Then something inside of me triggered the thought oh yes you have to ask questions about the hibiscus plant I bought there, do I need to prune it for the winter. See, that was the catalyst in spurring me on the journey I took yesterday. I get there and asked my questions and noticed they had a craft fair going on also. I walked to each of the vendors because I wanted to get a new sun catcher. No one had one. I then was heading back home and stopped at Dollar General. I still had this desire in me to go on the country road journey in search of a sun catcher. All the sudden this thought pops in my mind to go to a family farm that I drove past a few times before but never went there.

I remembered Ladd was in the name of the farm. I had to back track a few miles but I was on the road to Lucky Ladd Family Farms. It was a very busy day there yesterday with lots of families out enjoying their adventures. I actually drove past 2 cars that proudly displayed they were just married in the lane in which I parked my car. I think you buy tickets of some sort to experience the full adventure. They told me to just go the the red barn since I was only looking to purchase a sun catcher. I did. On the walk there a family was walking there too. There was a toddler that kept crying that they wanted to take their toy with them. Sort of like tantrum type of crying. The dad was handling that. I walked past the mom and her 2 other children and I mentioned how I remembered those days and that they grow up. Part of me was relieved that it was not me in that situation and I was free to go about my day. Part of me wished my children were little again because they had a nice picture taking display where I did see families taking a photo together with their family. We did that both when I was married and even when I was divorced. I lived in a country type of setting in Vermilion and there would be local places we would go in the fall and take pictures at similar settings too. I really am a city girl but I am always drawn to the country, minus snakes and critters and things like that.

I am now in the red barn and I found a sun catcher along with some local honey too. Oh, let me back this up again. I saw 2 neighbors walking their dog and they commented how they thought my patio and display of sun catchers was the nicest one in our complex. See, the seed was planted to have a desire to add another sun catcher to my little collection. I actually searched prior to me going on my adventure to see if I could buy one locally anywhere but nothing came up for me. Want to know something uncanny? For weeks now I have been asking a local Christian bookstore if they could order sun catchers. They have a representative that comes to their store from Ganz but I guess they never placed an order for their sun catchers. That is what I purchased yesterday from Ganz. If I am not mistaken Ganz is an Ohio company.

When I arrived back home I had to now do the email. Thank God I was at an awakening service the night before and while in the presence of God I received the words to send in the email. That is why it is good to keep a notebook with you to take words from Holy Spirit as He speaks and write them down. As I composed the email He then would show me how to tweak this or that or add this to it. I love those moments because Holy Spirit is so very real and active in your very life if you will allow Him to be. Do you allow Him to have that liberty in your life, you should. I then sent the email.

Last night before I retired for the evening I asked Holy Spirit to guide me in scripture. I opened my bible to Revelation 22. I read it and there were lots of things underlined in this chapter. I wanted to attend a church this morning but while I was on the patio early today Holy Spirit said do not go. I beleive He was trying to tell me something so even though I wanted to go I will not go. I will watch SonLife broadcasting today. For some reason I feel like baking today, lets see what today brings. Read Revelation 22 :10-11 "Then the angel said to me, "Don't seal up the words of the prophecy in this book because the time is near. Let those who don't have God's approval go without it, and let filthy people continue to be filthy. Let those who have God's approval continue to have it, and let holy people continue to be holy." I then was captivated by verse 17: "The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" Let those who hear this say, "Come!" Let those who are thirsty come! Let those who want the water of life take it as a gift." Looks like I may have underlined that 11/19/13 and I then had Holy Spirit insight that I notated in the margin next to that verse ... "A gift is freely given-you pay nothing for a gift. You accept a gift with a thankful heart."

See, Holy Spirit knew that I did send a gift off in the mail yesterday because He directed my steps yesterday and He knew that I would send that very gift in the mail even way back when on 11/19/13 when I received the divine insight in that moment of reading my bible. Amazing, Amazing Amazing do you agree. In 2013 I was still living in Ohio (I corrected this in the next blog entry, I lived in Georgia in 2013) but Holy Spirit knew already where I would be residing in 2021. That my friend is the adventure I share with you today. What about an Autumn cheesecake for me to bake today. Think of cheesecake with fresh apples grated/thinly sliced on top mixed with cinnamon & sugar sort of like an apple pie on top of the cheesecake. See, as I was writing this I am now inspired to bake today. God will always find people I can share the fruit of my hands with and to that I say amen. Off now to the store to get the cream cheese part of this recipe. Walking with Jesus is so much fun, do you get it? Good, now go on your own fun adventure with Jesus today ok.

Oh this is important. Remember the family I was walking down the lane with, there is a happy ending. While I was in the barn shopping and taking pictures to share with you I walked past them as I was heading to my car. No one was crying so they were now getting ready to experience their family adventure. It is timing, it is timing. If I didn't do this and that I may have missed seeing the happy beginning of their lovely fall day adventure.

This is where families were taking pictures. What a great family post card that would make.

These were bales of hay they painted.

Latest sun catcher added to my collection displayed on the large picture window in the living room.

Can you tell that I use this recipe frequently by looking at the picture. Sometimes I add the chopped pecans and sometimes I don't to the apple mixture. I did bake this cheesecake today without the chopped pecans. I also switched out my 2 side door wreaths for autumn wreaths.
