I was so happy to find out that when I run out of my honey I will not have to travel over 30 miles to purchase more. The owner told me of local stores in the area where I can purchase it. Yay for that blessing. I am at work and it seemed to be a day where it was slightly dragging so somewhere mid afternoon I switched from listening to cbn music praise genre to southern gospel. Glad that I did. I hear "Great Is Thy Faithfulness." Then I heard another song and I do not know the title of this song but it touched my heart so very so. The words sung throughout this song were "you'll be fine." It is a father telling his child throughout his life at major points in the child's life that the child will be fine and then he tells him those words as he takes his last breath here on earth. Do you think that brought a tear to my eyes, of course it did. So I am working and then the little Holy Spirit sprinkle surprise plays "Down To The River To Pray." This is not the version I heard on the CD I purchased this is an A Capella version and it sure did touch my soul. So glad I changed music genre's today because when I did it lifted this heaviness that started to come in. Do you think CBN reads my blog and knew I liked that song or better yet...Holy Spirit knows I like that song and it was perfect timing with me changing the music selection to be blessed when it played. I also heard a song by the Crabb Family. I miss them not singing together as a group they created awesome music together as a family didn't they? I understand when things are in your life for a season and maybe it was their season to close and start a new season.
There is something bittersweet about season changes isn't there. Happy memories and struggles that made us stronger and more durable walking through that season right. Then there is the hope and ray of sunshine that awaits us in the new season of our life. With great expectation and being able to build on the great moves of God in our faith walk from the past season. Isn't it amazing when we are up against something and Holy Spirit refreshes your memory of how He so willingly helped us walk through it. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. So this is how I look at it. He for example healed in the past, He will heal in the future so you then stand on it that by His stripes you are healed today. Yes, past walks in faith just build upon future walks in faith. If He did it then He will do it now. We go from glory to glory or faith walk to faith walk. He has never let me down and never has He failed me either. Maybe I can find a favorite Crabb Family song. Found one, "Through The Fire" yes that is the song just for you OK.
