If This Pool Can Be Revived & Brought Back To Life. Surely Your Life & Mine Too Can Be Revived.

A friend of mine let me go on a journey with her. Not in person but via conversations and update pictures. I do believe there is something in this testimony that could probably preach pretty good if anyone wants to preach.

She told me how her father has a built-in pool that she wanted to get ready for people to enjoy again. This is not a story about hiring out this task to someone else to clean up and make ready for swimming in again. It is a story of seeing the vision, working very hard at making this task come back to life and not being afraid to raise your hands up in the air and call upon Jesus to finish off this project. In the midst of naysayers that didn't catch the restoration vision.

Well, it happened, and she gave the glory to God and the testimony to the non-believers of the vision. It is 1 thing to talk the talk but a totally different thing when the talk is activated in hard work and many hours of preparation. I so enjoyed going on this journey with my friend. She told me she was going to bless the pool water with salt and anointing oil. I believe that is what Bob Jones taught about blessing the water. I was thinking of going with a few friends to the swimming pool to christen the new life brought into the dead pool, but a 9-hour drive is a bit more then I like to drive. One of my friends was willing to drive but it is still too far of a drive for me. Finances may have also been a factor in this decision too. Our economy I find is not as good as even a year ago. Seemed like there was money to meet monthly expenses with surplus left too. I can honestly say that God Almighty meets all of my needs, He truly does.

I have been testing ministries to see where a seed planted actually grows when I release it. One church I saw nothing grow from a seed planted. Another church I did see increase when a seed was planted there. I am trying to reach out to a ministry in which I know a seed planted definitely prospered. It was 10.00 to plant which was double an original 5.00 offering. It never transpired and I was released to plant the 10.00 on Pentecost Sunday @ a church. So, Holy Spirit is challenging me to now plant 20.00 into that ministry. Trying to get in touch with them so this can happen. You may think why is she so persistent? Because I hear the voice of God and I follow through with what He shows me. See, the ministry is sort of a dark horse in appearance lagging behind. The ministry that seems to be being shunned and all accolades are going to the complete polar opposite ministry. I am being shown that very elect people are being deceived big time. My simple act of obedience will show forth the true ministry that is of the Lord and has the Lord's blessing upon it.

I also have another great testimony of recently planting seed into a very good ministry. That is an awesome story I will save for another day. A great example of a seed planted about when I was in my 30's now resurrected again. When it is time, I will share that testimony.

How do I know I am planting seed into the right ministry? Not just hearing Holy Spirit and following through but I have been given warning dreams along the way. I woke from one of those dreams this morning. I confirmed it was from Holy Spirit and He gave me scripture to back up what was shown to me in the dream, Isaiah 19:2.

Oh, when you see the series of pictures of the swimming pool resurrection, know it was 7-8 years since the pool was last used. The local pool supply store had the records of the last time the pool supplies were purchased for this very pool. If God can bring life back to this pool, surely, He can bring life back to you and me.

Had A Wonderful Time With Friends Yesterday

You know there are God appointed days in your life. I had a plan of action yesterday. I read early in the morning on the green grass area. Went to the pool for a little time to read. Let the leasing office know that the Japanese beetle bag seems to be working so far. Also gave them some slices of cake to enjoy. I encouraged them to come view the bag I placed by the tree.  Delivered a nice sized piece of cake to an elderly former neighbor of mine. Purchased a belated birthday gift for one of my friends from Buff City. I actually think I like Bath & Body Works a bit better, maybe because they have more shower gels and bubble bath treatments to purchase. I found one of my favorite scents on sale for only 4.95 so I purchased the shower gel and body cream too. Found something that caught my attention that was on sale, Steeped Relaxation Lavender+Mint+Tea Luxe Bath and purchased that also. I had a 15.00 gift card, so the 3 items only cost me a bit over 1.00 to pay the difference that was owed for the purchase.

I also brought cake to my 2 friends. Oh, I wanted to go to the Savory Spice Shop, and I did. I drove around 2 times and then landed a parking spot right by the store. I then parallel parked into the spot. I wonder if kids nowadays even know how to parallel park a car. I purchased more of The Capital Hill seasoning. Here's a tip for you I had them do an experiment yesterday for me. They measured out a 1/2 cup portion and they were told it would fill up the shaker bottle size. Did not, so for a little bit more spend the money and get another shaker jar because they then fill it to the very rim. I also was intrigued by an Asian spice for chicken, so I purchased that too. You do not know if you may like something by at least trying it once right. Don't forget to ask for the sample packet by mentioning Brian Wilson from 99.7 radio. Yesterday the sample was for Brooklyn Everything Bagel Blend seasoning. I also received one of Brian Wilson's blue FARB stickers too. I think it stands for Friend and Radio Buddy.

All Of My Ironing Of Clothes Is Done. No Way, No Way, Now Way Will I Bake The Dolly Parton/Duncan Hines Banana Cake Mix Recipe Again. It Is Too Messy To Serve.

I do not even have my air conditioner on today it is nice outside. I was ironing and I said to Holy Spirit I think I'm going to leave my orange top to iron for another day. He replied it is best to complete the entire task and not leave some for another day. I then completed the task at hand and ironed everything. He really is a God of order isn't He.

So, I baked, assembled and frosted the cake, and I will not make this again. It sounds good in theory or when you read the recipe but in reality ... it is messy to put together. Maybe this is not the time of year to bake this cake. My instinct was right the first time I chose the coconut cake mix over the banana. It is the pudding you use for the filling with fresh banana slices on top of that. Then the frosting is not a firm frosting at all. I refrigerated it and then brought it out to cut a few pieces to give away. As I was cutting it some of the layer in a section began to slide due to the pudding in between the 2 layers. I cut a few pieces for the front office where I live but I knew I had to put the plate of cake slices in the freezer so I would be able to transport them tomorrow to the office. I cut off another nice sized piece for my neighbors, into the freezer that went also. There is some left in the refrigerator for a family in my building, they are a young couple, and they have a toddler. Maybe they would like some in celebration of Father's Day.

The next challenge is I am meeting a friend at Quinn's Pub tomorrow for dinner and I am going to the Savory Spice shop first. One of the local news talk radio hosts raves about this restaurant so let's give it a try. How will this cake ever survive me transporting it? I placed that in a plastic container and put that in the freezer too. You do not know if you will like or not like something if you never try making it right.

I don't think I will be going to Sprouts Market for a while. When I was there last, they increased their pricing I thought by a lot.

I Did A Little Part On Father's Day Spreading The Gospel Message. Thanks Munday Martin For Posting Your Preaching @ Walmart Video. Inspired Me.

The other day I viewed a video Munday Martin posted of him sharing the Gospel @ Walmart. I did not go to the extreme that he did but hey I did a part in my own way @ Walmart this morning. I sat early this morning and read some of my book. Instead of going to the pool to read I felt led to go and search for one of those Japanese beetle bag traps. I started at Walmart but before I went in the store Holy Spirit reminded me, I had 1 witnessing tract left. They passed out these tracts last year @ Munday & Jennifer Martin's tent revival and I have passed them out throughout the past year. Holy Spirit wanted me to leave my very last one somewhere in the store where possibly a father on Father's Day would find it and give their heart to Jesus today. As I was walking away from the garden center area Holy Spirit showed me that men just may go purchase a charcoal briquet type of grill. There they were, I graciously placed it on top of a boxed grill on a shelf. They did not have the beetle bags but did get more neem oil spray today.

Off to Lowe's in search now. I found the kit which includes the bait and 2 bags plus a hang tie to attach the bag to a stick or small shepherds hook I happened to have. The one hummingbird feeder will have to be temporarily placed elsewhere since I used that small, really small in size shepherds hook I found at Dollar Tree. This kit says it is supposed to trap over a 5,000 square foot area. Supposed to last the entire beetle season too. The brand is Spectracide and it is supposed to draw Japanese beetles into trap away from ornamentals, flowers and shrubs. Well, I think this will work because once I took off the cover of the lure oh my gosh beetles started flying everywhere probably because they could smell the scent of the lure, I was putting in the interlocking mechanism. They still are flying around. I was able to get a few into the soap suds water and get a few that way. Let's see what happens ok. I will keep you posted. I do see them flying into the bag. I am a determined gal to see blossoms on the crepe myrtle tree this year and if this will help, I will be most thankful.

It was worth giving up poolside reading today to leave the gospel message for someone to find. I already baked the banana cake, made some of my homemade frosting and blended it with the canned frosting. Made the pudding to go in between the layers of cake. I have the bowl and electric beaters chilling in the freezer for when I have to make the whipped cream. Full day so far and I still have some ironing of clothes to do too. There is such a lovely breeze outside today go sit outside or on a patio, deck or porch and enjoy this lovely breeze. While baking I watched SonLife Broadcasting and it was so touching, sharing the Gospel message. There was an altar call and I think 3 people responded. It still touches my heart and tears fill my eyes when one responds to a salvation call. Who knows, maybe someone responded to the altar call @ Walmart today.

This gentle breeze is wonderful while sitting on my patio. I can actually smell the scent of fresh dill as the breeze goes one direction. I still see those beetles flying around in the sky. I kind of get the impression very small scale of what possibly one of the plagues looked like in the bible, but this time swarms of Japanese beetles.

Baking Is In The Atmosphere, I Can Sense It.

I am going to try the 2nd Dolly Parton cake mix via Duncan Hines. I trust it will turn out fine like the homestyle coconut cake of hers did. This is a banana cake. This recipe appears to take more of an effort to make if following the recipe instructions than the coconut cake did. I am up for the challenge. In this recipe you are making an instant banana flavor pudding as the filling. The recipe calls for sliced bananas and crushed vanilla wafer type of cookies in between the layers. I am not a particular fan of that type of cookie so I will not be doing that portion of the recipe. With the cost of groceries ever increasing I just could not see spending what a box of vanilla wafer cookies costs to only use a few of them for the recipe then throw them away. I was pleased that the cake mix was on sale yesterday @ Kroger's for 1.25 a box. I also picked up a can of her buttercream frosting in which I will improve upon again. Make some of my homemade buttercream frosting and blend the 2 of them together. What is interesting about this recipe is that you whip heavy whipping cream (I already have some of that in the refrigerator, thank God because the cost of that item can get expensive) and then blend it with the frosting to make the frosting for this particular cake. I trust this cake mix will turn out fabulous as the coconut cake mix did. I think odd thoughts at times. I wonder when I get married again what if my spouse doesn't like me baking sweet things. Does that mean my baking will no longer be a ministry unto others? I create when I bake. I just have to trust God that the man He already has planned for my life will let me be free to be me, baking and all.

I enjoy the early morning time sitting on the grass in my chair reading the book I am reading at the time. I find it so very peaceful, and I face the sun while reading. I grab a cup of decaf coffee and read. I made a mixture of Fresh Markets Peppermint Cream along with Raphael's brand of Chocolate Peppermint decaf and it is minty, just like I like it.

I have also been enjoying reading poolside as the pool opens up first thing in the morning. Sometimes there are a few people at the pool and then there are times I am the only one at the pool. It is peaceful out there too before the rest of the community wakes up and the families go to the pool to enjoy themselves for the rest of the day and into the evening too. I finished reading the Sheryl Brady book the other day. Oddly enough, this is rare for me to do but I am led to read again a book I already read before. A book by James W. Goll, "Tell Your Heart To Sing Again." Maybe I need to either tell my heart to sing a new song or refresh the song within me. You know that reading a book for the first time may be a different experience then reading it a 2nd time. What if you were on target in your life while reading it the first time and as you read it the second time you look back with questions of why did this  happen or not happen.  If you find yourself slipping into that mind set, jump out of it because you are the same person God created you to be in both instances. He formed you in your mother's womb and He not only knows you but He also knew you too. The enemy is out to try and debunk the work you have done for the kingdom of God and will continue to do for the kingdom of God.

I am trying to figure out how to lessen the amount of Japanese beetles trying to devour a beautiful crepe myrtle tree not far from my patio. I have been using Neem Oil spray on my eggplant and hibiscus plant leaves. This is organic and it is fine for use on vegetables, fruits etc. plants growing in your garden. Then I researched this method and it seemed to work but is not as easy as it appears to be in the instructions given. A quart of water and a squirt or 2 of dishwashing detergent, like Dawn brand. Then you are supposed to shake the beetles into the solution and this suffocates them. Apparently the scent of them in the bucket emits a scent that is suppose to deter the other beetles away. I tried it and it worked but ... Did you ever try to shake a branch of a tree and then the beetles all fly away and seem to be gathered at the higher portions of the tree? A bit challenging to get them into the bucket. I will try one more thing, purchase a beetle bag and place it near the tree. Crepe myrtle trees have the most beautiful blooms and so far it appears that the beetles ate away at any blooms trying to bloom. I am not a quitter and I will try to find a way to possibly see blooms on this tree.

This season I discovered that the hummingbirds actually try to get nectar from my lavender bloom flowers and the purple flowers that bloom from the Hosta plant. Nature does fascinate me. Another God Assignment Fulfilled Sunday, 6/12/2022

I had another cash offering in my purse waiting to release and watch it go and grow. Let's see what happens with this offering. On Sunday I knew I would be going to the church of the Pastor in which I recently read a book he authored. Let's back that up a wee bit. I was there to receive ministry from their prophetic ministry team. It was a very good word I received from the team that ministered to me that day. As they were bringing forth the prophetic words, I noticed someone on another prophetic team sitting behind them that I thought I knew but never met in person yet. That day I introduced myself to them. I waited outside the room where ministry was taking place for the opportunity to meet this person. While I am waiting, I see another familiar face walk by. Oh wait, I met a woman months ago at a women's conference in the Nashville region and I told her I would come visit her church one day. Well, I did but she was not greeting on that particular day. She was greeting this past Sunday when I inquired of a pastor if she was there that day. While waiting for my prophetic ministry appointment she goes walking by me. We connect and she offered for me to sit with her and her husband for the church service that day.

The other familiar face I saw was a person I only knew through taking mentoring classes with a local minister. This person would seem to be most sincere and genuine when they would interact with the minister on the webinars. I then said are you _______ and they responded yes to my question. I explained how I was at one time in the mentoring program and good thing they would show family picture because I was then able to put a face with a person. At least in my interaction that day. I shared briefly how not only this person but another person both interact so good with the minister when they would conduct the webinars. I did share that I do not do zoom calls but I would call in for the "live" sessions. The young person that looked familiar to me in the ministry room was this person's young adult child. I asked if it was ok for me to introduce myself to their child because this child at one time was a part of customer service for a ministry. This young adult had excellent customer service skills and knew how to interact with customers in a caring and most professional manner. They also did not have typo mistakes in email correspondence too. This young person knew how to serve others and serve well at that. 

I introduced myself to this young adult and thanked them for the times they would help me out with technical type of things I maybe didn't know how to do. I said what I usually express to others that I am not a technical type of person and that it is a miracle that I even have a blog! Thank you, Holy Spirit, for letting me meet these 2 people that morning and for Your perfect timing. When I arrived at the church someone was just pulling out of a parking space so I got  a really good parking space too. I found out there was going to be a guest speaker that day and they brought forth a good word. Thank you for authors placing their picture sometimes on the cover or within their book. I read the book and now I had to know who the Pastor/author was so I could give the offering to them and thank them for writing the book I just completed. I said goodbye to the greeter friend and showed her the book and I wanted her to confirm the gentleman standing in the back of the sanctuary was the pastor, it was. So, I graciously waited for him to complete his interaction with some people and then I approached him and thanked him for writing the book I just read and then I handed him a cash offering as Holy Spirit showed me to. He then extended a handshake and introduced himself to me. My assignment was completed for that morning. See, if you only follow Holy Spirit promptings it ends up being fun and you just never know who you will meet along the way.

Whenever I have attended this church I tend to smell different fragrances of God in this sanctuary. This past Sunday, I would catch brief whiffs of the scent like fresh baked cookies in the atmosphere along with brief scents of all things, corned beef cooking? Thank heaven for the book I have by Kathie Walters, "The Spiritual Meaning of Aromas, Colors, Flowers And Trees" as a guide for me to interpret these aromas. According to her book this is the meaning of the scent of cookies "Heavenly Manna." There is not a listing per say for corned beef but I can follow the trail of the meanings of "meat" right? 

"Meat - Mature word." No corned beef but there was a listing of Roast Beef and I will also include that meaning from her book. "Roast Beef- Maturity of word or spirit." I think that sums it up nicely, do you agree. Do not be stale in your walk with Jesus, get out there and experience Him today while time still permits you to.

I tried a new cake mix to bake and then take to people to bless them. A little while back I heard that Dolly Parton connected with Duncan Hines to create a few of her favorites. I couldn't help not passing up the opportunity to try her Homestyle Coconut Cake. You can't miss it on the grocery store shelf for the box is a pink color with a drawn picture of Dolly Parton on the package. I was, and I guess I still am the type of mom that will try something new that is a new product out in the market. If I like it I will tell others to try it and if not, I know not to buy it again. This is an excellent cake batter and I would make this cake again. You actually add to this cake batter mix melted butter and milk. When it baked in the oven even the 2 layers seemed to bake higher then other cake mixes do when you bake them in the cake pans. I couldn't help also getting her buttercream frosting too. The packaging is so cute. I knew it would not be enough frosting so I made some of  my own home made buttercream frosting and blended the 2 together. Then you take sweetened coconut once the cake is assembled and frosted and put it on the sides and top of the cake.

I wanted to be a little clever with the cake slices I brought into work. Instead of explaining what type of cake it was I put the empty box of the cake mix with Dolly's picture on it behind the cake. I then threw way the empty box at the end of the day. Really, I recommend going out and buy this cake mix and bake the cake. Either bless your family with it or divide it and bless others with a tasty treat.

I Was Up @ 4:00AM Today 6/11/2022 While Some Of You Were Still Fast Asleep. Had A God Moment, Would You Like To Know About It? It involves 1 Of My Journal Entries From 1997.

Before I did the video watching I was searching in my bible for the scripture of the rod budding an almond branch. I found it and it is so nice to have a concordance in the back of my King James bible. It's like hide and seek. I go to this scripture, and it is not it. I search until it is found.

I was turning through YouTube tv and selected a prophetic ministry video. I think I changed the changer somehow and the next thing I know I am watching another ministry video of Jessica Koulianos. It was something she said that caught my attention. She and her husband were ministering at a church her father built when she was a little girl. Now, I was intrigued because I was at that very church in 1997. I continued to watch the video that was Sunday night that was streamed "live" on May 15,2022. I then felt led by Holy Spirit to look through 2 of my journals because I wrote about my experience on 1/13/1997. I actually had an experience that night at the church, and I was prompted to compose a letter to Benny Hinn. Back then, I faxed it to the ministry for him. I never heard anything back from that correspondence. I was bold back then and still am now. I notated, "sent via fax 1/13/1997 @ 11:50AM I am to speak of this to (actual fax sent) no one until 1/16/1997."

I saw a person walk away and was not prayed for that evening. I heard Holy Spirit say she needed prayer. I went to one of their ministry people praying for those at the altar. I pointed her out at the altar and to send someone to pray with her. No one prayed with her, and she began to walk away. Holy Spirit had me leap into action and find her before she left the church building. This is what I shared in the letter to Benny Hinn.

I am going to take this right out of my journal to see what it was all about. I heard Holy Spirit ever so clear that He highlighted that person to me that needed prayer.

I was in Florida with my family. My friend, Dan, who was a student @ Oral Roberts University was also in Florida with his family. He picked me up in his parents Cadillac and off we went to this church. Remember I still had my Catholic background and Holy Spirit at the same time was teaching me, He was my teacher, and I was His student. This is the same young man that once I shared some of my journal entries with his sister, she wanted me to meet him, and I read some of them to him. I remember this ever so clear, he asked me if I knew what I was writing about and I said no. He told me I was writing about end time stuff. I don't think I had any idea what that meant at the time. I sure did find out as the years have gone by. This is funny, I thought every time someone offered the salvation prayer, I was supposed to raise my hand and respond. I was with his family and him one Sunday at a local Baptist church. The pastor offered the salvation call, and I raised my hand. Dan then said to me you are saved right. I answered yes then he kindly told me to take my hand down because I would be confusing the pastor. See, I really was learning back then.

The video I watched this morning truly blessed me. Michael Koulianos shared his testimony and his connection to that church. Communion was served and I had 1 communion set in my church/praise instrument satchel. I got it out and had communion. Somewhere around the 2-hour 15-minute point in the video I hear a familiar song played with the instruments. I do believe it was Pachelbel-Canon in D Minor. I used to play that song years ago. Maybe even used it as a background song when I taught at a youth retreat on journaling. Same friend's sister asked me to teach at their youth retreat for a Methodist church. Holy Spirit moved amongst the adults and students that weekend. Actually, the very journal I just shared with you is the journal in which I had all that attended that retreat sign their name and age. I told them every time I opened this journal, I would pray for them, and I do still to this day. That was dated 4/28/1996. My daughter is listed in this group also, she was 10 1/2 years old at the time.

I knew I had to get 22 communion sets today. I called ahead and the owner of the Christian bookstore said she would set them aside for me. I get there to pay for them and she told me she had exactly 22 of them. I said that is Holy Spirit because He told me to get 22 since I already had 1 today. She for some reason would not agree with that and said she had another bag she could have opened if needed. I said it was Holy Spirit because what she had already was 22. I left it at that, planting a seed is how I look at it.

I was already at the pool today by 9:00am and said my prayers poolside along with reading the book I am currently reading. I would say it has been a full day so far.

Nature Fascinates Me, The Natural Nature Of A Mother Is To Nurture. Let Me Share If I May.

The last few days I have had the distinct front row seat of watching a female cardinal build a nest. The tree is near my patio. I thought it was odd the other day to see a male cardinal sitting on my patio ledge. The way I was brought up the old wives' tale said if a cardinal came to your place that there was an eminent death of a loved one in your family. How many others heard the same thing? Well, with watching for a few days now since I have a front row seat this is what I have observed ...

The male cardinal sits at a distance and watches over the female cardinal constructing the bird's nest. With a little research I found out my observation is correct. Not only does the male watch out for the female as she makes many trips with new material to build the nest but protects her from other predators and even other male cardinals that may be in the area too. It takes anywhere from 3 to 9 days to build the nest.  Egg laying can begin anywhere from 1 to 8 days after the nest is completed. I would say I will be hearing the tiny baby chirps of cardinals in the near future, how exciting is that? Can you see why this nature event fascinates me? Looks like not just human females have that natural instinct built within them to want to nurture and prepare for the birth of their child but I am seeing the female cardinal has that same instinct.

Of all the places, this cardinal chose to build a nest practically right outside my window. Do you think God is trying to tell me something or speak to me through this adventure? I took a short video clip of what I am seeing in this tree. Apparently, cardinals are also known to mate for life. How sweet is that. A living love story in the works brought to me by God for me to see the beauty in His creation.

I am also showing you some of my patio garden updates. Looks like the lily bloomed but there is another flowering plant behind it, a gift to me from my sister & brother-in-law. The Hosta is in bloom. I see another carnation about to burst forth. This time not a red carnation but a pink colored one. How exciting to see life bloom before your very eyes? Only God can get the huge applause for this spectacular gift given. Do you have eyes to see the beauty that surrounds you? Now, you may see a purple flower with the eggplant but from this beautiful flower comes forth fruit, in the form of an eggplant. Can you see why this fascinates me.

This is the fruit coming forth this year from carnation seeds I planted last year. Sometimes it takes patience to see the fruit come forth. It is well worth the wait once the blooms blossom.

This is also 1 of the carnations I planted last year from seed, it is with my cherry tomato plant which is thriving.

Thank You For Your Timely Wisdom, Sheryl Brady, In The Current Book I Am Reading, "Don't Miss The Moment"

It was yesterday, 6/7/2022, when I received some correspondence and could not believe a person was taking credit for something I inquired about, not them. I read this before lunch time and actually composed a response intended to go out to close to 30 people. Holy Spirit had me pause in sending it until after lunch was over. On my lunch break I continued reading the current book I am reading while sitting outside. There was something I read that caused me to be convicted by Holy Spirit. Do not send the email to everyone but send it to the one that composed it. The one basically trying to take the credit for something I inquired about, not them.

A few excerpts (this is not one paragraph in the book, but the main thoughts I underlined) from the book I read on my lunch break I share with you today:

"For instance, to some people, when served an injustice, the first inclination is to retaliate in kind with the pain produces pain. It is a fact that hurting people hurt people. The cycle continues until we feel we've somehow broken even the offender. But the more I spend time with God and in his Word, the more I begin to understand that by identifying myself as a follower of Christ, I no longer have the right or even the option of operating in an eye-for-an-eye mentality. The old saying is true: "An eye for an eye makes everyone blind."  Trust me, nobody ever wins with this type of mind-set. Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we are new creatures, which at its core, means old patterns must break and new ones must be established. I must reboot the hard drive of my life and say yes to a new way of thinking, acting, and even reacting. This is what opens the door to knowing God more deeply and seeing how he's at work as those opportunities to partner with him become more apparent."

As I continued to read on in the book, I underlined a few more thoughts in the book. Let me share them also. I am sharing this to show you how God can use circumstances in your life and His timing so as to not make big mistakes. mistakes made out of pride or arrogance. Wanting to be right and getting credit for something that someone else is trying to take the credit for. Let's go on so you can see how Holy Spirit spoke to my heart through the writing of another author. Thank you, Sheryl Brady. Here are more excerpts from her book, "Don't Miss the Moment."

That was about it, I would call this a productive lunch break what do you think? Maybe even a working lunch break at that too. I am going to now include a few excerpts in addition because I placed a star next to these in the margin of the book. Maybe someone out there needs to hear them too.

So, what do you think I did with that correspondence after lunch? I went and then composed the same response that was in the body of the correspondence I already created but this time it did not address everyone and only the person that sent it. Holy Spirt was showing me I do not have to toot my own horn so to speak, that He will raise me up in due time. The God way was not to attempt to humiliate another person in front of others but address the situation with the person. See, Holy Spirit cares for His own and even the feelings of others that surround your life.

Last week I finished the book by a local pastor. Maybe it is time to visit his church again. What do you think?

As I was about to publish this blog entry, I told Holy Spirit I need scripture to back this up. He directed me to read  I Kings 18 & 19 in the King James version bible. Amazing how God has the final say and shows up very strong doesn't He. Read both chapters today to feel the love of God for your very life ok.

These Are What Farm Fresh Eggs Look Like. I Went To A Church For The 1st Time Today, Pentecost Sunday 6/5/2022

My day started off pretty early today. I ironed clothes early this morning and thought I was going to go to a local church service. Good thing I checked when I was heading there because the speaker that was supposed to speak wasn't there.  So, what's a gal to do now? All dressed up in church attire and no church to go to. I went to Aldi's and picked up a few ingredients I needed to try a new recipe for chocolate cake. This was a recipe I will only make once now that I tried it. The frosting was interesting, but it turned out ok. You actually take 3 cups of white chocolate chips with heavy whipping cream and melt them together. Then you cool it and then beat it on high with an electric mixer until it thickened. Then add some vanilla and a bit of salt to the frosting. I don't like frostings that aren't a certain consistency. Hopefully it will get more firm once it is cooled in the refrigerator. I love to try new recipes and then share them with the leasing office and my co-workers too.

I watched Jimmy Swaggart "live" broadcast also. Holy Spirit has been prompting me for months now to go and visit Kent & Candy Christmas' church. Today was the day. I had an offering I have been carrying around with me for a few weeks now. I connected with a minister it was supposed to go to. They had me connect with another person to get the offering from me to give to that minister. Holy Spirit spoke to me that if it is not done by Saturday sometime, I am released from giving to that minister. It was Pentecost Sunday and time for planting an offering seed. Plan 2 was to go to the local church and bless the person that was supposed to minister and then ask them to give the seed offering to someone they knew. It could have been a double offering day for me today. That's ok for I went where Holy Spirit ultimately wanted me to be today. I actually sat by 3 people I knew from a local church we used to attend, not by my design, by the greeter's design where they sat me. It is good to be gathered with believers that believe in Holy Spirit and Holy Spirit flowing. This church is a bit far away for me. It is not a simple route, but get on this highway, then that one and so forth. It was a good visit though. I still believe there is a church out there for me to attend, it will come to be.

Yesterday I went to my friend's house to get some fresh farm eggs. Had a lovely visit and she showed me the chickens and her vegetable garden. Much bigger than my patio garden. How many of you can say you met the chickens that laid the eggs? I did, some of them are beautiful looking, there was an Americana one; one that had a silvery color to it too. Very interesting. She had an abundance of garden onions, so she picked two for me to take home. That is why you see it in the picture with the eggs. Did you ever see blue eggs before, look closely and you will see a few?

Early Morning Patio Garden Update. I Woke To A Lily Bloom Today 6/4/2022

I was enjoying the early morning sitting on my patio. I noticed a lily bloom that blossomed today.  Just had to capture a few short videos of how my garden is growing. Hope you enjoy these videos. Going to pick up some fresh brown and blue eggs today from my friend. Simple things in life truly make my heart sing with the joy of the Lord. Do you find in life it is not necessarily the grand junctures but the simple daily moments that being joy to your heart? If you are reading this, then that means you still drew the breath of life in your lungs today and for that be most thankful. Another day to testify of God's goodness in your life and to bless others this very day too. Don't always hold on tightly to the blessings but be free to release them also.

Look @ These Beautiful Lily Blooms, Thank You Trader Joe's In Franklin & The Lady In The Parking Lot That I Asked If They Had A Good Selection Of Fresh Flowers.

I went into Franklin last weekend. I was near Trader Joe's, but I didn't feel like going in the store if they didn't have a good selection of fresh flowers to choose from. I saw a lady in the parking lot with her child and I noticed she had a fresh lily bunch in her hands. I said excuse me and asked if they had a good selection of flowers that day. She said she bought the lily bunch for 5.99. She did not know if they had eucalyptus though. I then parked my car and went into the store. I purchased a bunch of the lilies. They had a variety of colors to choose from and I selected pink. Why pink? Because I am a girly girl and I like things feminine, and pink reminds me of that. I also purchased some fresh eucalyptus too. When home I noticed 2 of the lily's broke off. So, I cut them off and placed a few sprigs of eucalyptus with 1 of the blooms in 1 container and the other lily bloom I placed lower in the vase.

My patio garden is growing nicely. I see baby eggplants starting to grow and lots of cherry tomatoes coming forth. The cucumber needs a little more help though but I am not a quitter so I will see cucumbers grow I will. I see 2 more carnations blooms in the works. I discovered a new flavor of mayo; Duke's makes a mayo now with actual lime in it. I am a mom still and I always liked trying new things. I thought if it is fine, I will get it again, if not I at least tried it right. So, I was telling 1 of my neighbors about this. I gave her fresh dill the other day and she said it would be good in tuna fish. I then set aside some of the new flavored mayo with lime in it for her to try with dill in tuna fish. I dropped off more fresh dill last night along with the mayo. She shared with me that she even gave some of the fresh dill to her dog. I learn something new all the time. I didn't know dogs liked fresh dill; did you know that?

So happy to see we now have a pool monitor in the evenings now. People are bold and brash and would just walk over to our community pool from a surrounding neighborhood and feel it was fine to use our pool. They knew enough to wait until the office closed or on Sundays too. No more of that since the pool monitor has a list of residents and they must show their pool pass to get in the pool. Thank you leasing management.

2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad But 3 Out Of 3 Would Have Been Better.

Within the last few months, I blessed 3 different female ministers with gifts. Two out of the 3 of them blessed me back with a thank you. I don't give seeking a thank you because that is between me & Holy Spirit. He shows me what to do, make, send and I yield. You must know though that it is really rare to get any sort of thank you note or email from ministers I bless. Oddly enough, the one minister I prayed for a couple of years to come to this region is the one I did not hear anything from. Now, my offerings are not the large in size one's now like 1 million dollars or anything like that, but I still obey when Holy Spirit nudges me to give and what amount to give also.

I have been trying for a few weeks now to plant a seed into a ministry and I finally connected recently. Some may say $10.00 is not a lot but when it is in the hand of God it will grow mightily. It is a matter of obedience. I almost gave it away the other day, but circumstances prevented that from happening.  Do you know why? This offering is destined to go into the hands of a minster in which I saw a previous offering grow twice that week. After that Holy Spirit challenged me to double that amount and see what He can do with that offering. It patiently waits folded in my new Patricia Nash change purse that came with that new "Birds of Paradise" purse. I wrote about that when it happened a few weeks ago.

It is God's timing and His divine connections too. I reached out to someone that I thought could be the connector to get the offering to this person. They then contacted the minister and the next thing I know I have the contact info. I waited upon the Lord to then respond to a text message the minister sent to me. I had permission to contact them and I did so. Maybe this is more about my obedience and tenacity to not quit because 10.00 is not enough to pay even an electric bill today for this minister but it just may be the key needed to unlock a door in my life. I am also shown that this minister has the presence of God in the ministry. If not, I wouldn't be prodded to give an offering and then another one to follow that. God is faithful and He had me hold onto this offering until the opportunity was there to give it. Let's see what happens because the transfer of the money is in the works. To God be the GLORY.

Moral in this story, do not give up hope and God will make a way when there seems to be no way. Sometimes standing out on the very edge of a ledge and it seems like you are all by yourself, you are not. Jesus is right there with you gently guiding your steps. You have to be willing at times to stand alone because when you do others will not necessarily accept what you have to say. I am fine with that because it is His voice guiding my steps.
