Have You Ever Been Betrayed In Your Life? This Book & DVD Will Help You In The Healing Of Your Heart. I Encourage You To Start The Journey To Making Your Heart Whole Again. No More Broken Hearts OK.

No more broken hearts OK. I thought my heart was healed from past hurts, disappointments and betrayals too. I thought I dealt with this years ago while undergoing ministry training in the area that Holy Spirit uses me to reach out and help others. I guess I was wrong and boy have I been diligent on closing these doors of past hurts in my life through this book and viewing the DVD also. The book's title, "Healing The Heart" by Joan Hunter. It is interesting to note that on the cover of the book it also states, "overcoming betrayal in your life." The DVD that was instrumental in helping me recover from those past hurts (and even some of them have been more recent in my life too) is titled, "Can I Truly Forgive?"
I believe that at one point or another in a persons life there has been some sort of betrayal. Do you agree? It could be something as simple as telling a friend you will be their best friend forever and then one of you lets the other down and you no longer adhere to that promise you made to each other. As life goes on it may be the betrayal of a spouse, pastor, teacher, employer, or even a church (this list I share is not a complete list, there may be others in your life that you will add to the list.) Yes, I did include a church. From time to time I hear from others that their greatest hurts and betrayal have come from a church or church people so to speak. People that confess Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour. Maybe you may need to forgive a doctor in your life that gave you the news of a bad medical report. I cannot answer those questions for you only you can be the one to seek that out. Remember, those you are forgiving can be of the past or even current.
Are you willing to cut that hurt free from your heart and move on in life and the destiny God has called forth in your very life? I was and did and I am still in the process of healing this heart that can only be mended by God through Holy Spirit with the love of Jesus Christ. I accepted the opportunity to heal my heart and to set those that hurt me free from that hurt and ask God to bless them in the process. I have also asked God to forgive me of any wrong doing to others in which I may have hurt their heart and to subsequently bless me for asking to be released of the hurt and pain I may have caused others. Let me tell you that this book is so freeing to me and I am most thankful that Holy Spirit gives insight to individuals and then they teach this to others so they will in turn be set free.
As I began to read this book I was curious to see what the DVD had to teach so I took a break and viewed the DVD. WOW, the only words to describe what I learned in this DVD. I right then and their tried to take notes and paused the DVD a few times to capture the words used in the exercise to forgive others. As I was trying to take notes something reminded me the exercise I was trying to learn was actually in the book. So, of course, my curiosity caused me to search ahead in the book to find this and BINGO I found it. That is when Holy Spirit began to work on my heart. It was not just a one time process and boom it was done, it is still a work in progress. Just when you think you forgave everyone or every organization Holy Spirit prompts you to forgive someone else or another group or people or even an organization you may have been connected to throughout the years of your life. Do not be surprised if He even reveals to you things of your childhood. It is OK to follow His lead and get set free. He knows what you need to set free in your heart, I challenge you to trust His lead and be set free. Forgiving others and even forgiving yourself  is a great opportunity to allow healing of your heart. Remember, a whole heart is so much better than walking around with a broken heart waiting to be mended.
How can you possibly fulfill all that you would like to fulfill in your life if a piece of your heart is missing because the whole heart has not mended? Life is too short and too sweet to bear that burden when Jesus went to Calvary for you and for your freedom. Back to my story...I began reading this book last week and I viewed the DVD then also. Each time I pick up the book Holy Spirit really does remind me to forgive this person, this group, this organization etc. So, I pause and go to the prayer of forgiveness and I oblige the prompting of Holy Spirit. It truly is amazing how He will prompt my memory to people and places even as a child and then I pray the prayer of forgiveness. When I tell you this has been a process it truly has been. Even this morning early I was reading and He prompted me again to forgive some more and I did. Thank you Holy Spirit for caring about me so much that You want to see me set free. The process is in the choosing to let go of past hurts and regrets and to move forward toward the mark of the high calling on your life. It is so much better to let go of it and move forward.
I was recently reminded of a journey I took to a foreign country. It was a pilgrimage and I was on this journey with others that were also pilgrims on this journey. One day we climbed a mountain and you could see a rain storm coming in. I wanted to see the power of God so I kept praying as we went up the mountain that I wanted to see a storm so I could feel the power of God in the wind, etc. Even a pilgrim asked me what I was praying and  I replied that I wanted to see something like Moses would have experienced (I do recollect it was something to that effect I stated. Gosh, that was well over almost 20 years ago.) There was something powerful as the wind was coming in and in the distance you could see the very dark clouds coming in. The closer we got to the top of the mountain you were able to see where the rain was falling in the distance.
What do you see at the top of the mountain? You can see everyting that you want to see. There are no trees, buildings, etc. to block your view. The only way you can have an obstructed view is if you choose to close your eyes and not see the great view from the mountain top. Do not allow yourself to obstruct the great view because you would rather choose to sit in pain and misery because of past hurts and betrayals. I challenge you to set those people and experiences free so you will be able to enjoy the beautiful view which is placed right before you. Do not continue on being fueled on past regrets but continue on with a healed heart that is able to receive love. How can one truly love others or another person if their heart is not fully healed and a broken piece of it is missing? You owe it to yourself to set that broken heart free to be mended and then watch what God will do for you. Do you want to love again? Then begin the process by loving yourself and seeing yourself as God sees you. He does not see you with a heart that is broken but with a heart filled with love and open to receiving even more love into your heart. How can you receive if you heart does not have the capacity to be able to receive? I encourage you to start the journey to healing that heart and one day you too will have a whole heart.
Stay focused and trust Holy Spirit when it comes to the forgiving process. If He shows you one day to forgive this person and you do and then days later He shows you again, trust Him and forgive again. There may be another facet of the forgiveness of that person that is now being dealt with on that day. This book and DVD are truly being freeing to me in my life. Thank you Joan Hunter for sharing your amazing story with us to help us get free.
I do not know about you but when I am reading a great book I will skip around to see what is to come in pages ahead. Maybe I do that because of curiosity. What I find myself doing is going to a chapter that may be speaking to me in that moment and I will read an excerpt or more and then back to the page I left off at. I will then read it again when it comes around in page order while finishing reading the book. I do not do this for each book I read though. Just when compelled to do so. Through experience and life experiences I mean, the author had poured out her heart to the reader. She does not just share with you she shares with you how Holy Spirit set her free and how to be set free yourself. Be thankful that God uses others and what was meant to be hurtful in their lives and turns it around to help others. That is a true blessing.
See, even when I was proofing this writing today Holy Spirit prompted me of other people I had to forgive. I did. I am not finished reading this book yet. I am a little bit over half way through and what I like so far is there was a prayer she leads you in and then she prays for you also. I do not want to tell you the page numbers of these prayers for that would not be prudent. It will be most helpful to you in the healing process if you read for yourself and discover them in proper timing while reading the book. Let Holy Spirit be your guide in this healing process. What works for me may be totally different in your healing process. Remember, this is your time for healing. I can suggest out of my experience but the true test of time is what works for your life and set of circumstances that has brought you to this time of healing in your life. Even what the author went through in her life may not be what you are experiencing in your life. It is not the story it is the process that she used to get set free. Her circumstances may be totally different from yours and that is OK. The end result whatever you may be dealing with in your life is that you are set free to be who you were created to be. So, do not let her story be a hindrance to you because you did not experience the same set of circumstances she experienced (to work for you.) In the end it is the goal to heal your heart. Hurt and pain are real and go beyond the pain to get the healing. God can and will use the life experiences of others to reach your pain and restore trust in your life.

Coca Cola & Lexus I like your current billboard advertisement. I had the opportunity to travel on a road that allowed me to see billboard advertisement heading toward the city. I liked what I saw. Coca Cola it is nice to know that you are a sponsor of the Olympics. Will your billboard advertisement change throughout the Olympics to feature other sports that are popular at the Winter Olympics? That would be great. How about featuring on the billboard sports in which the United States of America excel in and bring the gold medal home to us? What about a great billboard advertisement showing a group picture of some sort of the athletes holding their medals won at the Winter Olympics as a thank you tribute to the one's that trained, sacrificed, accepted the challenge and won. What a nice thing to let them see when they head back to the USA after the Olympic games close. Place the advertisements either via television commercial, web commercial/advertisement or national billboard campaign. So many people enjoy Coke products why not take that endearing quality (you seem to have the knack for in your advertisement) and thank those that purchase your products and let the winners and even those that attempted to bring home the medals of triumph see your thanks. I thought I liked the original idea of an advertisement with a group picture of the medal winners but I like my second idea even better. A group picture of all the athletes that went and competed in the Winter Olympics for they truly are all winners. Yes, they accepted the challenge many years ago to train so very hard and sacrifice things in their lives to achieve making the final cut off to participate in this event.
Lexus I so do enjoy seeing the 8th wonder billboard advertisement. I like the background used in the billboard advertisement. It is nice to see something other than a color as the background. I like the position of the featured vehicle also. I do enjoy this advertisement. Still waiting for you to create that moving vehicle on an electronic billboard to see the car zooming in action. I hope you are working on that, I just know it will be stunning because you take such care in creating your advertisement. Keep up the great work.

I Guess My Bubble Was Burst The Other Day, In Regard To Ministry

The other day I shared with you about how I discovered a local ministry, for a brief moment I thought I would be able to minister again. I have not functioned in a ministry respect for over 3 years now since I moved to a new location. God gives you the gifts and talents within you and you should respect these gifts but also protect them too. What do I mean by that statement? Do not compromise your gifts or yourself just to operate in what you were created to operate in.
Just because I have not used these gifts in a ministry setting does not mean I have become dormant in practicing these gifts. I may not be sitting in a sanctuary with a set time to do ministry. I still function in the calling placed in my life in my personal life. I do not tolerate the darts of the enemy and just sit back and take it or allow it. Oh no, I know who I am and who Christ is in my life and I fight back. Maybe not in the manner that one thinks of as fighting. My battle is in the spiritual realm and I will not tolerate the enemy coming against me, my family, friends and acquaintances also. When I feel the atmosphere changing due to the enemy trying to alter something my spiritual antenna becomes very keen and I take action. You do know that you do not have to tolerate these attacks and those associated with you should become blessed and continue to grow in blessing because of the blessings in your life. You are called to be a blessing to those you are connected with. If you are anything less than a blessing to these people then you may want to consider if the enemy is attacking you. Seek Holy Spirit and He will show you the avenue to stopping the blessing in your life. Do you have unforgiveness towards someone, animosity, offense? Those may be areas that you may need to ask forgiveness in and then the blessing resumes. If Holy Spirit shows you that it is not anything of that nature and it comes from the enemy then you have work to do. Do not sit down and take it when you can silence the enemy. You have authority as a born again Christian, now use it.
If you knew that someone was about to break into your home and steal from you would you allow them to? Would you open the locked door in your home and let them it? I would hope that you would answer that as NO. If you would not allow it in the natural realm then why would you settle for it in the spiritual realm. I trust you are astute and not ignorant. Go forth and conquer and flow in blessings. Remember, you are only allowed to accept into your life what you allow to accept. If you are ignorant and do not have the knowledge then how can you fight back. If you are given the tools to fight and choose to not use them then it really is not the fault of anyone other than yourself. Why settle for garbage when the blessings of God are there to not only bless you but also others that surround and are connected to your life. It is better to be a blessing than a curse in their lives. Choose life this day and not the garbage sent to you by the enemy. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and know that it is not in your own strength but it is through the strength of Christ in your life.
On with the story now. I contacted the ministry and received pertinent information. I will not connect with this ministry for they charge a fee for the person to receive their ministry. I will not go into details but when I did function in this ministry no dollar amount was placed on the ministry to be paid by the person receiving the ministry. If they felt led to give a free will offering to the church then they did so. There was no dollar amount attached to the ministry per say. I do not recall Jesus in the bible charging people a certain set fee to heal and deliver the people He touched did you recall seeing that? Now, it does state that His needs were taken care of. If He freely gave to others and He freely gave the gifts to you then should we not do the same. Yes, I understand that there are administrative expenses when dealing with a ministry (publications, mailings, staff expenses, etc.) and that is where organization and administration comes into play and must be in order. Is He calling you to a particular ministry? You know, a ministry can also be your daily work in the work force. Sharing your gifts/talents with those you interact with daily. Seek Him, Godly counsel, advice from TRUSTED AND TRUE (that have weathered the storm) Advisors. Fast and pray and let Holy Spirit reveal to you the timing as to when to move forward or to not proceed at all. If you get the red light at this time in your life it does not mean it is not to come to be it is just not the right timing and when the time is right it will happen. Just because you see the dream or vision does not mean it is appointed for today, this very day. Sometimes we are shown the vision and it may take days, weeks, months and even years in some circumstances. Yes, I did say years. Do not lose hope wait upon the Lord and He will fulfill it in His perfect time. It will truly bring glory to Him and when you look back upon it it will bring a smile to your face too. Do not step out of timing with God's vision. Let Him bring it to pass and it will be glorious. Trust and obey for surely it is the only way.

Did You View The New Season Of Downton Abbey? I Did & Found It Was A Waste Of My Time. I Predict "The Paradise" Will Far Surpass Downton Abbey. Tune In & See For Yourself.

I watched the new season of Downton Abbey last evening. I thought it was most disappointing. I really do feel it was a waste of my time. The time just seemed to drag on for being the new season debut. What happened? That is my question I present to the writers. Did you become so popular and widely viewed that you feel you did not have to keep up the interest of the viewers?
Let me tell you that I think the new series, "The Paradise" has much more intrigue. I look forward to the next season airing in the USA. Please do not let us down with a dud for the next season of this series. I think the connection of Mary and Matthew was part of the mix that made Downton Abbey work. Matthew is no longer there and the connection is gone with him going too. There is definitely a strong connection with Mr. Moray and Denise in The Paradise. I think people like to see the underdog win.
There is something about true love that causes one to champion them and cheer them on do you agree? I guess I am a romantic at heart and I love to see or hear of great true love stories. You know, true love stories are real and have been here throughout the ages and will continue to be with us. Stories of true love bring hope to all. Would you not rather cheer on a couple destined to be together than a villain that tries to create a love story that is just not there to begin with. I wonder why I am speaking on this subject today. I guess it was spurred on by the disappointing viewing of Downton Abbey.
Sometimes in life we are thrown a curve ball that takes us places and through circumstances that we may not have necessarily chose for ourselves. When in a situation like that seek out God even more than prior to this happening in your life.
Want to hear something very interesting? Yesterday, I went to a church for ministry (prophetic ministry to be exact.) I was there a few weeks ago for ministry but it was not taking place that day and I returned when they said it would take place. Well, I arrived at the time to sign up for the ministry only to find out that they changed their ministry times. One of the team members from the prophetic team came out and blessed me immensely. They actually set a time to allow ministry to take place. God you are so faithful, just for me the timing was precise and the minister saw the timing was right. As I write this tears well up in my eyes to think that God cares so much for me that the prophetic word came forth in my life yesterday. Only the Lord knows when the timing is appropriate and the message you need to hear from Him. Let me share with you that weeks ago and even months ago I attempted to receive ministry at this church and it did not happen. I know enough that when that happens I back off and trust Holy Spirit the timing is not right. I heard the voice of Holy Spirit gently speak to me this past week to go and seek the ministry this past Sunday. With the ministry going forth I knew it was Holy Spirit's timing for this to take place.
The word spoke to my heart as the words came forth from the prophetic team. It was afterward that blessed me double. I am trained in a particular ministry and I have not been active in this ministry for a few years now. I will periodically ask and inquire when at a church if they know of a local church that operates in this ministry in the area. Nothing ever seems to come forth from my inquiry. Guess what, yesterday I inquired and this time it may be fruitful information I received. One simple inquiry of the right person at the right place/time. Listen how God works in my life, this just amazes me it truly does. For the years I lived in a community the actual ministry location was in the neighborhood. Why did I not know about this when I lived there? I would imagine the timing was not right or the enemy was at work. I choose to believe the timing was not right (that is God's timing I am speaking about.) Now, I have not investigated the ministry to get details yet but I know exactly where this is located. Want to hear something uncanny? When I inquired yesterday and they told me where it was located Holy Spirit brought a marker to my memory as to where this was. I use to walk in my former neighborhood and at times I would see something and use it as a mile marker to turn around and complete my walk. I was able to then clock it in my car for mileage walked by this certain marker. Believe it or not, one of the mile markers for me was for this ministry location. Do you know the number of times I prayed while walking this path? Many times I can tell you. Who but God Himself knew that the prayers I prayed while walking just may bathe this ministry in the prayer they needed. Many times I would pray in the spirit silently while walking and let Holy Spirit pray through me and I am most thankful for this gift He gives to us. God is AWESOME He truly is. See how He is so involved in your life and you that He already knew way back when that there was a reason I remembered that mile marker. Do you see the hand of God in all of this? I do.
That was an interjection of a sort sharing that with you. You see, true love does win and that is so encouraging to me is it encouraging to you? Hang in there and do not settle for junk in your life when true love is there. May the eyes of your heart be opened and your understanding enlightened to see it.

This is a final sidenote that is important. You should not seek out prophetic words a lot. The last time I was ministered to in this fashion was over three years ago. It is not good to just keep seeking out prophetic words for yourself. The purpose of a prophetic word from God is to confirm what He has already spoke to your heart. Not things of the nature of getting new jobs, finding a new home, things of that nature. It should be things being confimed of what God speaks to your heart. Words of encouragement and words to confirm that you are on the right path or warning that you are  not where you should be. The words should be brought forth with edification and encouragement to your life. When you receive a prophetic word you should also seek Holy Spirit to verify the words are true and for you and not false words spoken. You should bear witness within your spirit that they are for you also. Sometimes the word spoken may be right on in your life and there may be times when you need to put the word or a portion of the word on a shelf so to speak for a future time in your life. Seek Holy Spirit and He will direct your path in regard to this. Also, very important..if you are receiving a word and it just does not feel right or agree with your spirit then do not receive the word. You do not want to open up the door to the enemy to allow a false word to manifest in your life. Be cautious of where and who you receive the prophetic from.  All I can share with you to encourage you in this is if it is from God and for your life it will truly bear witness with you. It is OK even if tears fill your eyes because the word coming forth is truly touching your heart.

A Few More Holiday Favorite Dishes Made To Share With You

I also made breaded boneless pork chops on New Years Day. Along with that I made homemade scalloped potatoes. An up-and-coming executive chef shared how to make this recipe. At this time I will not give away this yummy recipe but I will share with you that an important ingredient is using heavy whipping cream. I also made my famous butter ball cookies for Christmas. This year I used chopped pecans and I usually make them with chopped walnuts. I did not like them as well with pecans so back to making them with walnuts.
I would have to say that the favorite dish made for Christmas had to be the roast. Made a New York Strip roast. I found that what really worked with this entree was you brush the uncooked meat with melted butter then you put the dry rub spices on the meat. I believe the butter not only coats the roast but allows for the spices to stay on the roast and what a delicious entree it was.  I used coarse Kosher salt and I ground fresh peppercorns along with fresh ground Montreal steak seasoning and combined it all together and that is what I used to season the roast. Let me tell you the New York Strip roast is an excellent cut of meat and you do not have to worry about dealing with a bone for it was boneless so there really was no waste. It would not have been a complete meal without the fresh ground horseradish sauce to accompany the beef. Also made Gulf shrimp with fettuccine too. I have found if you can find a place to purchase homemade fresh pasta that works best with that dish.
I hope I have given you a few suggestions. I do not cook like this everyday but when I do cook I would like to think of myself as a decent cook. 

Let Me Share A Few Recipe's With You OK

On New Year's Day a few people came for dinner. Let me share a few good recipes with you OK. I made homemade apple sauce, I really enjoy making this because it is just good. I get a variety of apples (types best used when baking) and peel them and then either grate them or chop them up in smaller chunks (core them and do not use the apple core where the seeds are.) I place them into a pot and pour either apple cider or apple juice (I even have used orange juice before too) into the pot to be used as the liquid to help in the cooking of the apples. I do not measure this I just pour what I think would be enough. I then grate some cinnamon and I also add ground cinnamon to it too. I like the flavor of the cinnamon. My secret which will not be a secret anymore since I am sharing it with you all is I add the cinnamon hearts candy to it too. The little red cinnamon hearts are easy to find this time of the year since it is near Valentine's Day. Stores seem to carry this candy this time of the year. I think that they may be referred to as Imperial Hearts too. They actually melt while cooking and it gives the apple sauce a nice tinge of red color to it. Then cook on medium to med-low heat and let the apples break down. Then when they feel like they have cooked down then go ahead and mash them with a potato masher.
You can either serve this warm or cold it is your preference. Some may even like this served warm over vanilla ice cream and it tastes like warm apple pie a la mode but without the added calories of the crust of the pie.
This next recipe, when I received it, it was created to serve 28 people so I adjusted it in size to serve 7 people. This is a delicious dip served warm with crackers If you cannot find sun dried tomatoes packed in oil then this is what I do. I purchase sun dried tomatoes and I place them in olive oil to plump them back up, it works it really does. I have done this more than once so that is how I can tell you it works.
SUN DRIED TOMATO SPREAD
4 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
1.75 oz oil packed sun dried tomatoes chopped & drained
1/4 cup chopped roasted sweet red peppers
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
In a mixing bowl combine cream cheese, mayo, onion and garlic until blended. Stir in tomatoes and red peppers. Stir in mozzarella, Italian blend, and Parmesan cheeses. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake uncovered @ 350 degrees for 22-25 minutes or until edges are bubbly and lightly browned. Serve with crackers ( I served Wheat Thins Holiday shapes.)

SAUERKRAUT GOULASH
1 1/2 lbs. lean leg of pork or pork butt
2 Tbl flour
2 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbl fat
2 Tbl minced onion
2-3 Tbl hot water
1 # 21/2 can sauerkraut (you can use a 1 or 2 lb. bag of sauerkraut depending on the amount of pork you are cooking)
2 cups hot water
1 1/2 cups sour cream
Use a tight covered sauce pan or dutch oven. Cut pork into 2 inch cubes. Coat cut up meat evenly in plastic bag containing flour, salt, paprika, set aside. Heat fat in the pan over low heat. Add onions cook until transparent, stirring occasionally. Put meat into pan and brown all sides over medium heat, stirring now and then. Add 2-3 Tbl. of hot water, cover pan and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add small amount of water as needed. Before the hour is up, if desired rinse sauerkraut in cold water for a milder taste. Mix sauerkraut with the meat, add 2 cups hot water. Bring to boiling point, simmer 1/2 hour longer or until meat is tender. Remove pan from heat. Add 1 1'2 cups cooking liquid to sour cream blending well. Blend into meat mixture stirring constantly, cook over low heat 3-5 minutes, do not boil. Serve with dumplings. What I do is make dumplings and blend them in with this mixture it is delicious.

Dessert was Red Velvet cake. I have made from scratch before Red Velvet cake but there is so much red food coloring in it and it is just a hassle to make. I have found that the best Red Velvet Cake mix is by Duncan Hines. I then frosted with my homemade butter cream frosting.

I hope you enjoyed me sharing these recipes with you. I do not know about you but where I live we have had a cold snap and the pork dish with dumplings may just be what you need to warm up today. Try making it and enjoy. You can also bake the pork dish in the oven if you would like @ 350 degrees and keep checking like you would if you made it on top of the stove. Also add a bit of grated carrot to the sauerkraut for added flavor.

Do You Recognize These Songs By Casting Crowns?

You never know who the Lord will bring across your path when you ask Him to send someone to you to minister to you that day. He sure did bless me the other day. I was in the right place at the right time and I was observant too. Do not be afraid to ask a question or two if you want to know something. It is in the silence or the hesitation to ask that you will miss the blessing being sent your way. I try to teach you through my life experience not to miss these opportunities. Yes, I have missed probably more than once in my life and when I look back on it I want to bring condemnation upon myself but Holy Spirit does not allow me to go that far. For it is asking forgiveness in the missing of the opportunity that I am healed and I do not continue to say "the should a would a could a" phrase to myself. Does that make sense? Let go of the missed opportunities in your life and expect the forthcoming opportunities in your life.
You can cry about spilled milk (you know that old expression) or you can clean up the spilled milk so it does not sit their and spoil and create an awful odor or you may even slip and fall if it spilled on the floor so to speak. If you choose to clean up the mess it is now gone and there is no opportunity to have consequences from it not being cleaned up. We all miss the mark at one time or another do not get down in the dumps over that one instance or two, it may be even more in some instances. Just move on and move forward and look with expectancy to see what God is up to and about to do in your life. It is OK to ask Him if what is presented to you is from Him or from the enemy. Do not move forward if you do not get the green light go ahead from Holy Spirit. You know the enemy will always bring his best (which in my opinion really is junk) just before God's best which is divine goodness. Why settle for junk when right around the corner is the best God has just for YOU. Yes, just for you. Continue onward and upward. I am so reminded by God that He is always on time and He never misses. You may not think so at the time you are experiencing what you are experiencing but He knows where you are at. Sure enough when you hang in there a bit more doesn't He come through for you? I can tell you over and over again that this is how He has worked in my very life. He sees your concern and hears your prayers He really does. When He brings it forth it truly will remain etched in your memory that HE DID IT. That is the blessing in all of this. When the next event comes before you and you feel like you cannot make it, isn't it funny how remembrance comes to your mind of how God brought you through numerous times before?
God is great and greatly to be praised. His mercy does endure forever. Oh, on with my story. I met one of the members of this worship team the other day. How did I meet them? Just by being observant and asking an inquiring question. Yes, God Himself brought one of His own to cross my path and bless my life. You see, before even knowing who the person was right before me I had a connection with them. I cannot explain it other than a worshiper somehow connects with other worshipers even before knowing who the other person is before them. I would guess that that is how Holy Spirit connects His spirit with others. It sure is a mystery to me but I truly do enjoy these Holy Spirit moments of connection.
I met a pastor's wife the other day and she went to a Christian school back home where I am from. A few weeks ago I recognized a well known preacher and stepped out in faith and said excuse me are you_________. Sure enough it was exactly who I thought they were. God can bring people right to you and across your path are you willing to strike up conversations with those that the Lord sends to you? No matter who they are you will have brief moments of opportunity to share your witness with them also. No matter how widely known they are, you are just as widely known in the eyes of God, your heavenly Father and never forget that OK. We are called to fulfill His work are you willing to accept the challenge?
