Tomorrow Will Be 2 Year Anniversary Of Mom's Celebration Of Life Church Service. I Just Threw Out Probably A Couple Hundred Dollar's Worth Of Ministry Books In The Trash Can. Are You An Author On That List?

I think my mother would be pleased to see that her daughter finally awakened to the fact she was following maybe not so ethical, in my opinion that is of course, ministers/preachers, etc. Yes, I finally wised up and today is a day of freedom for me in my life. I was so easily swayed to take the bait so to speak, but no longer. Here are many names of authors I placed their books literally in the trash can today. I already did a bit of book house cleaning the other day. Here is the list of authors I say goodbye to and their practices, teachings, prophesying, hustling to sell their wares/ways:

James Goll

James & Michal Ann Goll

Jane Hamon

Barbie Breathitt

Thompson & Beale

Perry Stone

Book forward by Mike Bickle for Marsha Dunstan

Kathie Walters

Joan Hunter

Jonathan Nixon

Tommy Tenney

Ed Rocha

Dr. Ron Webb

Keith Butler

Fuchsia Pickett

Watchman Nee

Amplified Bible

Mary K. Baxter

Dianna Hagee

Billye Brim

The other day I discarded books by authors Jim Bakker, Jentezen Franklin, Perry Stone, Jennifer Eivaz, Bobby Conner. Along with another day I discarded books by Charlie Shamp, Munday Martin, Jennifer Martin. There may have been other authors, I just did not make a physical handwritten list at the time of all authors I broke free from in my life.

Now, do not follow by my example please. I trust Holy Spirit, and this was the day of house cleaning for me.

Book authors I did keep were Dr. Robert DiMaria, Don Finto (unless I am guided otherwise at a future time), Stormie Omartian, Ira Milligan, Jeff Jansen (unless I am guided otherwise at a future time), Kenneth E. Hagin, Francis & Charles Hunter.  Also, my social etiquette books are of importance because you always want to set up the proper buffet, table when serving house guests for dinner right. Can't wait for trash day so those books will physically be removed from my life.

Update From Yesterday's Adventure 3/22/2025

I went to Amish country yesterday and did get fresh farm eggs @ 3.00 a dozen. Stopped at the next house to see if there were any freshly made fried pies, they sell them for $1.50 each. At the bulk store the pies sell for 2.99 each. There were no cherry flavored pies, so I opted for 3 bags of homemade chocolates. They are $2.00 per bag of 6 count. I purchased peanut butter balls and peanut clusters. I did stop at the bulk store only to find they changed the setup of the store around and I don't think I like it to be honest with you. I did purchase 2 small bags of Amish potato chips for when I see one of my children next, they like and know this brand from the years of us living in Ohio.

I re-arranged a few things in my garage and swept the garage floor. I tend to like things tidy. I placed my mini green colored carnations in a vase inside. Did some laundry and found some time in the later afternoon to sit on the back porch to observe some of the different birds that come into the backyard. Oh, when I went into Murfreesboro, I discovered the Aloha brand protein bars are on sale this week for buy 1 get 1 free, great value. It equaled out to roughly 1.00 a piece. That beats Wholefood & Sprouts Market for their regular price for a single bar is about 2.69 each. I even treated myself to lunch @ Longhorn Steakhouse and had enough left over to bring home for another meal. I think I may attempt to make the Kusha soup today. I have the cookbook open to that recipe and I have farm fresh eggs too, since the recipe calls for 5 eggs.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention how I re-organized in a closet all of my holiday themed tablecloths, table runners, etc.

I Want To Share Some Hope & Comfort To Those That May Have Lost A Loved One In Death. These 2 Items Brought Comfort To Me/Our Family When Our Loved One's Died.

You know, even as a Christian it can be a bit tender dealing with the death of a loved one. You know they are in heaven living their best life ever for all eternity but down here on earth you may just want to hear their voice or have them bake/make a family favorite meal/dessert for you to enjoy. Do you understand where I am coming from? So, I still have a few voicemail messages from my mother saved on my phone just because. I also find it a bit of therapy to bake items or make meals my mother so lovingly made for us to share with others. I think this was a depression kind of meal but maybe I need to make some Kusha is how I only know it by from all the years growing up and my mom would make it especially on a cold wintery day in Ohio. I am sure it must be fattening calorie wise, but my sister tells me it is in our Croatian cookbook. I will attempt to make this soup. I like to try something at least once when cooking. If I like it, I will make it again, if not, I will not make it again. Maybe it is not that fattening, but it does call for 5 eggs. Wow, 5 eggs it calls for with the cost of eggs right now. This is when I wish I had chickens laying eggs, in the backyard, just joking. I cannot see myself tending to a chicken coop, but I do not so life goes on. I may just go to Amish country today and get a few fresh eggs and buy them from a family in that community to use to make this soup. Maybe purchase a few homemade chocolates from them also if they have any to bless the widow neighbors of mine.

May you find comfort it the 2 items that brought comfort to me.  One is a parable of immortality. The other was a poem type of writing written by unknown author and my mother wanted it shared @ her celebration of life mass. Not only did we print it in the program booklet for her mass, but I also included it as part of the eulogy I shared with family and friends of our mother. May you find peace and comfort if a loved one is deceased but let me also share the plan of salvation through Jesus to give you a ray of sunshine and hope for your life if you repent of your sins and invite Jesus into your heart today. It is a gift freely given by Jesus if you choose to accept this gift or not. The choice truly is yours and it is the deciding factor of where you will spend life for all eternity. Let me type now a portion of the eulogy I shared at the Catholic church back in March 2023 if I may ...

A portion of the eulogy I shared @ our mother's celebration of life mass. Oh, very important to note Holy Spirit guided me with the words when it was composed on 1/21/2023 between 5:09AM-5:33AM. My sister then tweaked it a tiny bit as I shared it with her on the phone while I was being driven back to Ohio for this gathering.

See what my project is for now. I am experimenting with growing a few rose lily bulbs so I can then transplant them outside and the squirrels won't eat the bulbs in the planter. Hey, a cousin shared with me about a product that tends to keep squirrels away and so far, it seems to be working. I just may get some more to always keep on hand with the warm weather right around the corner. It does not harm plants or vegetables & animals. I laid down some granular stuff on the grass the other day that is supposed to take care of grubs. Since moles like to eat grubs and if there are no grubs to eat then from what I understand the moles then go to someone else's yard in search of grubs. Let's see what happens with that one too. The spray is called Liquid Fence Deer & Rabbit repellent.

I got this idea from purchasing a hyacinth bulb in a vase from Trader Joe and it grew and blossomed quickly. So, I found another vase to grow bulbs in and I now have 2 rose lily bulbs growing. Amazing growth difference in a few days' time lapse.

President Trump, Thank You For Looking Out For Our Safety & Well Being, Truly Appreciated.

This post is simple and sweet. Thank you, President Trump, for looking out for the American people when it comes to our safety. You are deporting those people that came into our country illegally with the intent to harm us. Most thankful that you have a heart to build our country back to being great. Oh no, lets change that to even greater than before when we were on the road to being great. I think in my opinion the families that experienced tragedy/grief of their loved ones being harmed by people of the above-mentioned likes are grateful. Keeping our country safe and secure cannot unfortunately bring back the lives of the victims but it can sure put a glimmer of hope into their family's hearts. Thank you, President Trump, thank you. I still pray daily for you and your family during my daily prayer time.

I Think My Mother Would Be Happy To Know Her Daughter Kept Up A Family Tradition. Making St. Patrick's Day Meal To Share.

When I was married, my mother would like to bring the Irish side of the family (former husband's side of the family that is) with a corned beef dinner for St. Patrick's Day. She continued this family gathering even after our divorce. Inviting my former mother-in-law, a great aunt, another aunt/uncle and of course myself and our children. and sometimes one of my mom's friends. She made all the trimmings corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and homemade Irish Soda Bread. I am sure there were other items made also. We always had some sort of dessert also. We enjoyed each other's company and who doesn't like to gather around a table filled with yummy food.

I felt like a little bit of her blessing was with me today as I got up early and began to plan the day of cooking and blessing also. I had to go to the store to gather corned beef, and celery. I began the day by cooking macaroni and chopped up onion, celery and grated carrot to make my mom's recipe of macaroni salad. I made enough pasta to be able to take out a portion to make tuna salad for lunch this week. I put that together as I made the Irish Soda Bread dough to bake in the oven. I found 1 of my mother's recipes for the bread and followed it. I did add 1 thing to the recipe. Once I brushed beaten egg wash on the dough, I then sprinkled coarse sugar on top (the kind you decorate cakes with).

I wanted to try a different way to cook the corned beef, and I like this method. Use the electric pressure cooker. It cooks approximately 90 minutes; let it release naturally for 10 minutes when done then release the rest of the steam. Open the lid and pull out the corned beef that is placed fat side down sitting on a rack in the pressure cooker. I trimmed off the fat and let it rest before slicking the meat. I then placed into the water the sliced carrots and cabbage wedges. It only took 10 minutes to cook the vegetables. The bread came out of the oven. I made 2 plates for the widows in the neighborhood to have for St. Patrick's Day. Plate consisted of corned beef, carrots and cabbage. I then made a bowl of macaroni salad for each one along with a nice sized wedge of the bread. I dropped off both meals and cut another wedge of the bread and wrapped it up to take to another neighbor to enjoy. I suggested to the neighbors that it might taste good with some jam or preserves on a slice of the bread.

I recall even a time when my father-in-law was near death in the hospital and my mother lived on the east side but we were on the west side. She made the meal for the family and dropped it off at the hospital. If I recall because that was a very long time ago, he died right between St. Patrick's Day & St. Joseph's Day that year. My father-in-law loved me as if I was his own daughter and told my mother that if he ever had a daughter, he would like her to be like me. Wasn't that a sweet compliment. This man who did not drive a car took the rapid transit and walked some blocks after I had our first child and washed the kitchen floors for me. Is that love or is that love. I had a c-section so was a little limited what I could do for a few weeks.

See, even though your immediate family may not be in proximity to attend a St. Patrick's Day meal God will always place people on your path to be able to bless. I even decorate outside for St. Patrick's Day because my children are part Irish too. I guess I just continue on with tradition.

Do You Need A Good Laugh? Watch This You Can't Make This Nonsense Up. Church GROW UP

Oh my goodness, this nonsense needs to stop in ministries. When you tell alleged stories you will be held accountable before God 1 day. We all will have to be held accountable before the throne of God with the accountability we did in our very lives.
