Did You Go & See The Movie "Saving Mr. Banks?" You Should, It Is Good To Know The Background Of The Person That Wrote Mary Poppins. She Lived A Less Than Ideal Life.

When you hear the term Mary Poppins it should bring a smile to your face right? It does to mine. I think of songs that lift your spirit like "Chim Chimeny Chim Chimeny Chim Chim....... and other songs too. Even as an adult to see this movie is endearing. It brings a happy feeling to you and the music just seems to add to the film right? Well, when you go and see the movie I mentioned and see the actuality behind the life of the author of Mary Poppins you will wonder to yourself how could such a family-friendly movie come forth from this life that this author lived as a child. You should really go and see this movie because you can see that even a life lived with a father that drank and lost jobs could turn the hearts of families around by this less than ideal life to bring families to the theatre with a song they may be singing as they leave the theatre.
What do I mean by this? Walt Disney truly saw the good in this project. Maybe he can take the not so lovely story or hurts of others and create it into a healing project not just for the individual but for many. She cherished the characters in the story of Mary Poppins and went to extremes to protect them also. It was through the eyes of Walt Disney that protected these real life characters when taking them to the screen. In the end I do believe that there came a healing to this author and a great breakthrough with healing her heart in the process.
A child sees things only as a child can see it. In the remembering of these events what happened many years prior in their life can make an impact on their life throughout their life. Does that make sense? Think back in your own life. Was there ever a time when you may have been scolded or even you scolded a child for doing wrong? As a child it seems to be so much more magnified in the moment and either good or bad can leave the lasting impression with you. Do not hang onto garbage that may have been dumped on you as a child and even as an adult if it applies to your life right now. Just because someone had a bad day or was ignorant when you were scolded does not mean that it was meant to hurt you for your entire life right? Do not allow someone to change your nature or love because of their flaws or imperfections. You did not ask them to dump their garbage onto your life so now it is time to take that garbage and shed it and throw it into the trash once and for all. Let me remind you that you do not have to live up to the standards of your parents. You carried their junk long enough now get rid of it.
Let me also remind you that yes, as a child or even as an adult one looks for approval of a parent. You may never be blessed to receive this approval from your earthly parents but what counts is that you do receive approval from is your heavenly Father in heaven. That is the approval you should strive to receive. You do know that God sees you as a wonderful work that He created. Did you know that you were created in His image. This is God we are speaking about, yes, His love is so grand in your life that He sent His son, Jesus, to come to the earth and take on the sins of the world for you and then He died on a cross to save you from going to hell for all eternity. That is love and a great love at that do you not agree? All you have to do is ask Jesus to forgive your sins (and we all have sin in our lives.) Each person that asked Jesus into their heart also asked Jesus to forgive their sins. Did you know that? Do not wait until you think you will clean up your life enough to ask for His forgiveness for in the waiting you may die without having Him in your heart/life and the final demise will not be heaven. Let go of all the hurt and sad memories or events that happened in your life today and ask Jesus to heal your heart. He is faithful and He will if you just ask Him with sincerity in your heart.
Just say a simple prayer like this and He will hear you and He will enter into your life and if you do this life will be much more bearable no matter what you are going through. He truly does give you a peace that passes all understanding even in the midst of turmoil. I cannot explain it but I have experienced this many times in my life. What the world would think to themselves how can she go through what she is going through with a smile on her face and peace in her heart. I do believe it is through the love of Jesus in my heart and also my love for Jesus. Yes, that is it.
Just ask Jesus to forgive your sins and ask Him into your heart. Ask Him to change the view that you have in your mind of the words that others may have spoken to you throughout the years and to turn them around. Ask Him to show you how He sees you and your life and trust me when I say this, you will see yourself through the eyes of God and a beautiful smile will come to your face and even in your heart too. He loves you, He loves you, He loves you that is what I am feeling within me to share with you today. The heart of God loves you. Why would not the very ultimate Father in heaven that created you not love you?
Be it good or bad always remember this in the back of your mind. No matter how you see your earthly parents God saw them as the catalyst used to create you and bring you to earth. Yes, to bring your life forth for you were created with destiny and a life to be fulfilled. Think a bit further...you were created with gifts and talents and others need to be reached and touched by your life so they can do what they are called to do with their lives. When you think of it like that and in that perspective I would guess it makes you a bit thankful that God did use them to bring you forth in the world. Be blessed and fulfill what you are called to do in your life. Do not seek total approval of your earthly parents, what is most important is to seek your heavenly Father. He created you and He knows what your gifts/talents are and let Him guide you to the finish line, so one day when your work and life are done here on earth you will hear Him say "well done good and faithful servant, enter into heaven." Yes, that is the ultimate goal  to strive for His approval and it will bring eternal life for you.
Live life to its fullest this very day and seek the Lord for future opportunities to fulfill destiny in your life. Living life this way is truly exciting, it truly is.

If This Is Your Worst Day So Far This Year, Look Up & Seek The Help Of Jesus. You Know He Is Coming Soon To Claim His People, Are You Ready?

How many of you feel like today has not been the best day of your life so far this year? If that is you then I have great news for you. Cast your cares and worries upon the Lord and let Him renew you and give you the strength to carry on. You may say to yourself "How can I do this?" It is simple, just invite Jesus into your heart and allow Him to take your burdens away from you and give you His peace, love and joy in exchange for the garbage you choose to let go of. Give it all to Him. Did you know He died on a wooden cross so you may have the freedom to give your life and heart to Him so He can change your very life? He did and He also took on the sins of the world so you do not have to be burdened down with them. Ask Him to forgive your sins and to cleanse your heart too. He will. It is simple, just say a simple prayer with sincerity in your heart and He will hear it. The moment you say this prayer the angels in heaven will rejoice and your name shall be entered into the "Lamb's Book of Life" and when it is your time to leave earth as you know it, you will have the assurance of a place in your new home which will be in heaven for all eternity.
Why do you struggle with the things of life that will burden you and lay you down with burden? Really, enjoy what Jesus has to offer you and let those burdens be lifted right from you. I can share with you because I have to remind myself at times to just let those burdens be lifted and hand them over to Jesus. Jesus is real and He is alive. When he died on the cross thousands of years ago something amazing happened to Him. Three days later he arose from the dead and lives. He is not buried somewhere in a tomb with His body decayed. He arose from the dead and lives today. I am not asking you to give your cares and burdens to someone that died and is buried in the ground somewhere for He truly is alive.
Invite Jesus into your heart by asking Him to come into your heart and to abide there. Let Him know that you have sinned in your life and acknowledge that you are a sinner and then ask Him to forgive your sins and wipe your slate clean, He will. You must have faith to do this for it is a gift freely given so no man shall boast in doing this himself. Are you ready to ask Jesus into your heart/life? Just say a prayer like this or create it in your own words and trust in Him and He will make a way for you when there seems to be no way ahead of you. Say, "Jesus, I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive my sins and make me clean and as white as snow. Cleanse me and my heart with the blood you shed on that cross so my sins can be forgiven and you take them away from me. I acknowledge that you did die on the cross and three days later you rose from the dead and you are alive right now. Come into my heart and abide there and make me a new creation by doing this. I love You and trust You and believe that You will show me the ways to follow You and the life you want me to live from this moment forward in my life. Thank you for Your grace and mercy and for hearing my prayer this very day. I love the freedom I will receive after the burdens of my life are lifted and replaced with Your love. Thank you and show me what I am to do day-by-day from this moment forward in my life. Amen."
After saying this prayer know that you will be in heaven for all eternity with Jesus when you take your last breath here on earth, for the bible states to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. Trust in Jesus and try to find a true church that teaches the truth of the bible in their church. The best advice I received was to get a bible and start reading one chapter a day in the New Testament (starts with the Book of Matthew) and you will develop a love for Jesus for you will learn about Him through reading. Living the life of a believer is truly an exciting life. I am not stating that you will only have wonderful days the rest of your life. I am being real with you that you will have troubles and times of challenge in your life but now you can face these times because you can pray to Jesus for His help and wisdom. Life truly is exciting living for Jesus. He is coming soon to come and claim His people and I just want you to be ready and not miss the most exciting time in your life. Until then try to keep peace in your heart and let not the things of this world trouble you. Seek refuge in Jesus and He will give you the peace that the world so longs for but does not achieve. The missing link to this, that is a simple answer, it is Jesus.

Lexus I Saw Your "December To Remember" Television Commercial, I Love That!

I was flipping through television channels the other day and your commercial captured my attention. In the commercial it seems so alive and inviting and they do stress the placing of the big red bow being placed upon the white cars. Why did you not try to capture that excitement in the billboard advertisement? I also noticed that a smooth type of red material was used in this commercial. I just knew that the ad looks better with the background being a solid color versus the textured red/black design you used for that recent billboard advertisement. Go back to the older billboard signs for "December To Remember" and I do believe you will draw more attention to people seeing that billboard sign a lot more than the status now. The design background color (even though it is a somewhat smaller design within the color) is somewhat distracting or too "busy" looking and it truly does take away from the sleek designs you have been known for. Why allow a busy background to take away from the beauty of the vehicles you produce and are trying to showcase. Your vehicles and their performance speak for themselves so why try something new at this time of the year that takes away from that message.

Coke I Love Your Winter Billboard Advertising. Lexus I Am Not Fond Of Your "December To Remember" Billboard Advertisements, What Prompted You To Change A Great Advertisement?

I travel a different route now so I am not able to see on a daily basis the creative advertisement on billboards out there while on the highways like I use to be able to see. I had the opportunity to get out on the highway recently to see some billboard advertisement. Some I liked and others I was disappointed in. If I can be frank with you. I always have expressed my thoughts on billboards that caught my attention while in traffic so why would I start changing that now. Let's start off with the positive. Coke I love your winter/ holiday season billboard advertisement. Saw the polar bear with his neck tie on inviting one to visit where Coke is created. The other was a polar bear couple with the one polar bear's arm around the other polar bear. So endearing to me. Yes, that is the term I will use it is so inviting and it just brings a smile to my face when I see something like that. Now, the flip side. So sorry Lexus but I just do not like your current billboard advertisement for a "December to Remember." Your color schemes I think are way off base. Why would anyone use a red background with a white car and then a red bow on top of the car. The red bow blends in with the background color. Is not the purpose of placing a bow on a car to plant the idea of gifting someone with a Lexus? If that is the case then why make it hard for the viewer to have to search to realize that the bow is on top of the car? I really do not care for the same advertisement with using the color black as the background color along with a black bow. When I think of the color black I do not know of very many people that put black bows on a holiday package. I think that sign is a bit morbid with the color selection especially at this time of the year. People like to feel jolly, and be uplifted with things around the holidays and not dragged down with the color choice of a black bow for such a happy time of the year. I do get the fact that you may be reaching out to the male population with this color selection to make it more sleek and less feminine. But really, a black bow on a holiday present to the one you love?  One more thought, I do not like the texture that you used as the background color either. I think it would be more sleek in both cases if you used a solid color than a textured color. It takes away from the effect of the billboard sign, it makes it too "busy" so to speak. So sorry I wrote about this like I did but I am disappointed in your advertisement. You usually draw me into your advertisement and this time you drew me away from seeking out your billboard advertisement. Oh well, these are my thoughts and opinions and maybe you changed your advertisement company and you are searching to create a different image now. It still does not take away the fact that you create a superior product and a great experience for a Lexus owner.

Passion City Church You Are Taking Jesus To The Children Of Atlanta With "CHRISTMAS SMILE A BOOK FOR EVERY CHILD."

An invite was extended to me the other day to attend a church service at Passion City Church. I went and felt the love of Jesus in this church. They have an abundance of greeters as you approach the church entrance and even as you walk down the corridor. Smiling, sincere faces there to greet you with a warm smile and welcoming words of kindness also. They also have greeters that are there outside as you leave the church thanking you for attending the service and wishing you well for the week ahead. I like that concept, to not just greet people attending the church service as you walk through the doors of the church but there encouraging you as you leave the church also. That is a thoughtful church that is reaching out to those that attend the church. I really do like that concept, not to just greet as they enter the church but a final greeting of encouragement as you leave the doors of the church.
The worship is amazing. I think I shared with you that I sense the presence of Jesus during worship at times and I did experience that when I visited this church. It was not until the last worship song was sung before the preaching of the word of God. It happened to be a hymn that just brought a few tears to my eyes, the sweet presence of Jesus in the church. Oh how I love to worship. That is in my heart, that is a portion of what God created me to do. Thank God He did create me like this for that is what we will do in heaven for all eternity, worhsip God. Just the mere thought of that sets any chains that are holding me back in my life to be released that I will finally be who I was created to be in the presence of God. Imagine this too I will have this amazing freedom for all eternity. It truly does make one want Jesus to come today so we can be what we were initially created to be before the sin of man entered the world through Adam and Eve.
During the service they showed a video clip of what "Christmas Smile A Book For Every Child" is all about. Just by hearing about it it touched my heart and Holy Spirit spoke to my heart to purchase a book in the name of each of my children. Reading is such a big think in my life and one of my children has always been an avid reader since they were a child and still enjoys reading as an adult. I look at reading a book as an adventure. By picking up a good book it allows you to go on a journey through the words penned by the author. You may never have the opportunity in your lifetime to travel outside of the city of where you were raised but through reading a book it can take you to destinies around the world by just sitting in your home and reading about it through the experiences of another. After the service I let one of my children know I was going to purchase a book for them and their sibling. Their response to me was that they were going to purchase their own book so I then purchased a book for a child from my other child and one from me. I think I did a good job on picking out the books. Remember, my children are now grown so I do not have a good pulse point on current books that children may love to read currently. My child pointed out to me a book that I think they read when they were little so that is the one I selected to buy on behalf of my child. The book I selected to purchase from me was "Giraffes Can't Dance." It looked so inviting by the cover and flipping through the pages. They then provide bookmarks with an encouraging saying on them and you are allowed to personalize a message for the child that will receive the book to encourage them. The church will then wrap all of the books and they will then distribute them to the children the week of 12/16-12/20. The book titles I selected, one will go to a first grade student and one to a third grade student.
If you should feel compelled to share the gift of reading with a child in the Metro Atlanta region I would contact the church for further details. Remember in the bible when they were trying to push back the children from Jesus and He corrected them? He told them to bring unto Him the little children and He also reminds us to come to Him with the faith like a child. Jesus loves children. Remember, as an adult we were a child at one time in our lives so even though we may be grown adults I still believe in my heart that God still sees us as His child so continue to have that child like faith which pleases God. If you never operated in child like faith it is still not too late to do so starting now in your life. What is child like faith? It is the simple faith that a child has. Remember when someone promised to do something with you as a child and you would not let them forget it? That is child like faith. You hang onto those very words of that promise spoken to you and you do not let go of it until it is fulfilled because a child believes someone when they tell them they are going to do something. Parents be cautious of what you tell your children you are going to do for them for they will hold you accountable until it comes to pass. I am going to be honest with you, there probably have been things when my children were little that I said we would do or get or things of that nature and I most likely did let them down. As a more mature adult and when I look back at myself as a younger parent I see things that I may have done differently now as being a bit more wise and mature. I did the best I could back then but I wonder why it is not reversed that one has great knowledge as a young parent and that they have to wait until their children are grown to get that really good wisdom/knowledge. Maybe it is, so we can then share with grandchildren or even our children when they become parents. I guess that is part of the maturing process.
I fondly remember that relatives and friends would bless my children throughout their lives with books. They would write endearing words in the inside jacket of the book along with a date or year the book was being given to them. I just loved the great books they were blessed to receive as gifts too. I have done this also for my children when they were young. Just a gentle suggestion, if you know anyone that has a little child why not take time out of your busy schedule to go on an adventure to a book store and purchase a book for them to read. There is one thing I do like that a fast food establishment practices. They will put a book in their "kids meal" as the treat/toy/prize.

This Little Guy Looks Like He Made A Wrong Turn Somewhere & Ended Up Across My Walking Path.



Woolly bear seems to be a long way from home.

I was walking a few weeks ago and happened to look down and what was walking across my path? This little guy was. I thought to myself, this woolly bear is really a long way from home. I thought that they were known to the part of the country up north and not so far south of that state. Maybe they grow in this region too. What I like to believe is that the hand of God took this little guy and placed him right across my walking path just in the right moment when I looked down. Oddly enough just the other day I saw another one, this time it was half orange in color and a bit of brown too. Does it mean that the more brown you see means it will be a not so good winter. I tried to look for my woolly bear color chart but I think I got rid of it. Isn't it amazing what you will see when you are out walking? I think God wanted to remind me of how fond I was and still am of the Fall season from whence I originated from. Where I live now does have a pretty Fall also but there is just something about going home to enjoy the sights, sounds and even that crisp smell in the air when you breathe in the scents of Fall that are in the air.

Fall is my favorite season and then it is followed by Spring. Summer is next and last is of course Winter. You know each season has its purpose and God created them all so what He creates is good, it is very good indeed. I am coming along with reading the bible through from cover to cover. Remember I shared with you how I was reading it through from the suggestion of the missionary that I met one day. Holy Spirit has me tweaking it a bit. As a section is completed He directs me to stay at one chapter and read it daily with the other chapters being read. I must admit that my all time favorite section of the bible is the Book of Revelation. There is so much information in that section and it truly does share with you what is to come forth. I encourage you to read the Book of Revelation and then read it again and see what you will learn from it. Seek Holy Spirit and ask Him to guide you as you read through it He is faithful and He will all you have to do is ask Him.

Don't Let The Enemy Win Today, Ask Jesus Into Your Heart And Win WIth Him.

Today is the day of salvation do you want to be a part of it? I accepted the free gift of salvation years ago and I am so glad that I did. Did you know that if today was the last day of my life and I would draw my last breath of life I know where I will live for all of eternity, I will live in heaven with Jesus hallelujah to the King of Kings, the God of Angel Armies. Now, wouldn't you like to have this assurance today and not wonder or have doubt where you would spend eternity if today was your last day of life here on earth? The bible states that to be absent of the body is to be present with Christ. That just means that when you die you are no longer in the shell of your body so if we agree upon that then you have a choice as to where you will live for all of eternity either heaven or hell. There are no other options. Some would like to think there are options but there are only two which one would you choose?
Just ask Jesus into your heart and ask Him to forgive your sins and He will. Then invite Him to come into your life and guide you to what you are called to do with the rest of your life from this moment you invite Him into your heart forward.
Say, "Jesus I am a sinner forgive me and cover me with the blood you shed on the cross so my sins will be forgiven. I thank You that you chose to leave heaven and come to earth as a baby and grow up and share your signs and wonders with us. To heal the sick and set the captives free. You then died on that cross and three days later you rose from the dead. You came to set Your people free once and for all. Thank you for that Jesus. Come into my heart and life and direct my steps and the path of destiny for my very own life. I know that when I die on earth I will be present with you forever in heaven and I look forward to the day when I can thank you in person for all you gave up for the very love that you have for me. Thank you once again and I look forward to the days and years ahead of me with you guiding and directing my life. I love you Jesus. Amen."
It is as simple as that and now you are a member of the family of God and we will meet in heaven one day. Have a glorious day for the moment you said this simple prayer your name was entered into The Lamb's Book of Life and all the angels in heaven rejoiced the moment you accepted Jesus into your heart/life. Have a great and glorious day today.

"The God Of Angel Armies Is Always By My Side." Great Minds Think Alike.

All last week I kept playing this song over and over again while I was driving in the car. It is by Chris Tomlin, it is called "Whom Shall I Fear" I guess I refer to it as the God of angel armies is always by my side. Sure enough. I heard it not once but twice on Sunday at two different services I viewed online for church services. Not only at the east coat location but also the west coast location the praise team sang this song. I do believe that when God connects you to a pastor it is Him and Him alone that does that. Thank you Pastor for playing that song for whatever reason you felt led to have two different worship teams to worship with this very song. God is great and He is ever so greatly to be praised. I am truly a worshipper in my heart. I really am.
There must be something about this very song for Holy Spirit gave me a prophetic dream and in the dream was this very song I mention to you about. In the dream I wanted to play this song for someone but time did not permit for we arrived at our destination. In the dream I did not have the opportunity to share it with them but guess what? I have the opportunity to share it now. Praise God for He does not miss a heart beat does He. What the enemy did not want me to share in the dream I am now sharing with the world. Listen to the words of this song and the guitar sounds also. It is the combination of the two of them together that makes the song work and connect. Worship is not just the words of the song we sing but it is also the music coupled with the words that makes it worship.

Papa John's Pizza, What Is Missing From This Electronic Billboard Advertisement?

I think this is a great electronic billboard advertisement. It caught my attention while driving on the highway. I like the fact that you are also saturating the highway with this advertisement at drive time. It took me a day or two to be able to have the right timing to catch a photo of this billboard, for it is an electronic advertisement in which the ads do change. It is an "eye catching" ad but if I may suggest one thing that can be added to this campaign.

I have found that when I bake chocolate chip message cookies in the proverbial pizza pan I have found that people really do enjoy the butter cream frosting that I decorate the chocolate chip cookie with. You have a great opportunity to ask your customer when they order their chocolate chip pan cookie if they would like it with or without butter cream frosting. You would be surprised how many people like that extra jolt of sweetness on the cookie. I would then decorate the cookie with festive colors and make it look fun. I would then use that opportunity to write a message to the customer something as simple as "Thank You." What a great way to thank your patrons, when they open up the chocolate chip pan cookie to discover not only a great tasting dessert but a personal message to them thanking them for their patronage. These are just my thoughts and views on this. PS it is very important to use a great tasting/quality butter cream frosting for that can either make the dessert great or it can ruin the flavor of the dessert if you cut the quality when it comes to that.

Well I Do Declare That Someone In Advertising Must Be Reading My Blog, Coke, I See You Made Improvements On That Cloud Billboard. Now Let's Talk...I Have Been Giving Advertisement Advice Gratis To You For Many Months Now How About Inviting Me On Board In A Paid Position?

Sometimes I write and trust that others are viewing my blog. Then I see action take place and I begin to wonder just who and what position that person is in that is actually reading my blog and listening to the suggestions made. I do not think this is a coincidence when I wrote about a certain billboard and then I am driving along and I can now see it and easily read the print on the ad this time. I noticed the change the other day and it caught me off guard but it was a pleasant "off guard" so to speak. Coke actually was proactive in improving this billboard advertisement and you definitely can see the words much easier as you drive by this sign. Before, you had to really strain to see what it was about. Great job in improving this billboard. Now, the picture is not the clearest picture but if you look back at the pictures I posted under the blog where I mention Kroger's cinnamon waffles you will be able to see a huge improvement from those pictures to a recent picture of the updated billboard.
I guess it takes the eye of a consumer actually reading billboards out there to catch the attention of the creator of the billboard to see what they are seeing. I would guess if all you did daily was create ads you may become a bit numb to just seeing an ad and not really seeing it like the eyes of the person that actually will view it while driving on the highway. I still wish that you would do something about that white background theme you have going on. Do you see what I mean? You had to improve the billboard sign because you just could not see it. Hey I have an idea, why not bring in consumers as a focus group panel and get their feedback before stepping out in another campaign ad? Just a suggestion and thought. I did this before and it was fun. I was brought in with others (on an individual basis) and they asked all sorts of questions in regard to packaging of a certain product and then they had a variety of ways and strategic positions it was placed on shelves. They asked my opinion on key concerns and I along with the other focus group participants they listened to. If I recollect, there was a screening process first to see if you fit the type of person they were looking for to get opinions. Thank you for reading my blog.

When Someone Says To You Buenos Dias, What Do You Respond? I Think This Will Bring A Chuckle To You. At Least I Hope It Will.

Last week I was walking and an older gentleman passed by when he was walking and said Good Morning to me and then as he passed by he also said Buenos Dias. I had to think a second as I kept walking and my mind registered what the phrase meant. By the time I said to myself, oh I think he said to me to have a good day in Spanish. I had a delayed thought of what the correct response in Spanish would be. I thought to myself that when I continue walking and cross his path again I will say to him, "Estoy bien gracias." I completed my walk and never crossed paths that day. Guess what? It may have been a few days passed, until the other day. I saw this gentleman walking in the morning and as we were to cross each others path I stopped and told him that I thought too late to respond to his Buenos Dias the other day and that I think I should have said Estoy Bien Gracias. He responded yes to my response. I then shared that I had a little bit of Spanish in college. He also repeated Buenos Dias. I think he was trying to let me know that that was suppose to be my response. I just kept on walking and then I looked it up later on the meaning of the phrases. Oh my, my response was not correct. I should have responded back Buenos Dias. My initial response means, "I am well thanks." That man must have shook his head and thought to himself that lady really does not know Spanish very well.
As I thought it over I remembered that in Spanish class we would greet others with this phrase "Buenos Dias como estas?"  That is why I remembered the phrase estoy bien gracias. That was the standard response.
You see, when this person spoke to me in Spanish right away the kind, elderly professor came to my mind and what I was taught sitting in his classes in college. He was the nicest professor. He looked a little bit like Santa Claus but with an Irish sounding name. We would call him Senor _______. I will not share his name but I still chuckle to myself when I think of how we addressed him. A very Irish person teaching Spanish. Maybe I am the only one that sees the humor in that. I have fond memories of taking Spanish with this professor and apparently I did learn from the classes, well, at least enough to be able to state the right response. Well, maybe not with what I just shared. Now, did this little story cause you to smile or maybe even chuckle? As I am writing this and remembering it it actually caused me to laugh.  Guess what, another phrase I still remember is this one, "Que hora es?" If my memory serve me correct I think it means I am asking what time is it. Is it not funny how one remembers quirky little things like that?

Before life ever began in our lives with the first breath of life breathed into us by God, we were already created to be a blessing and to be a blessing to others. Two scriptures belong in this writing.


Psalm 1:1-3 via the God’s Word Translation

“Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers. Rather, he delights in the teachings of the Lord and reflects on his teachings day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams-a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does.”

Psalm 5: 12 via the God’s Word Translation

“You bless righteous people, O Lord. Like a large shield, you surround them with your favor.”

As a person grows in their walk with the Lord, they become comfortable sharing their story with others of all of the good things the Lord has done for them and their family. For there was a time when the favor and continual blessing of the Lord was void in their life and an empty feeling was inside of them. Then there was that day when they opened their heart up to the Lord and their” new life” so to speak began. As they continue in their walk with the Lord struggles begin to appear and challenges that were not there just a few short months ago. It is in these times of trial that it is most important to keep following the Lord. Remind yourself and others of the good that the Lord has done in your life. He never keeps you in a struggle unless you choose to stay there. It is in the struggle that your faith grows by leaps and bounds and one day you will look back upon this and truly see the hand of the Lord. He is there with you to walk you through this, don’t let go of Him.
I keep hearing these words repeatedly by the spirit of the Lord for you ___________ (this was written for a specific person.)  “He loves you, He loves you, He loves you. He is very pleased with you and do not let go or give up because sunshine is right around the corner. The dark days are gone and when there is sunshine, there are no dark days. Smile and let your light shine forth on others. You have a great story to share with others a story of encouragement and hope for others. As you begin to share it, it is a little frazzling at first. To start to speak the words that the Holy Spirit shares with you to share with others. That is normal and the more you step out in faith the easier it becomes and the words just flow. Even when you least expect to share with someone you will find yourself doing that. At times, you will think you are there to bless another and with the gentle love of the Father, you will be the one that ends up being blessed with your obedience to share with another. It is likened to riding a bike. You have to concentrate in the beginning to balance yourself and not fall off. Sometimes there are a couple of spills off the bike, only used to perfect the riding of the bike. Then the next thing you know you get on the bike and ride without even thinking about it. You ride and are now able to enjoy the scenery around you with still keeping an eye out for big bumps and barriers ahead of you. At times, you even become bold enough to ride along with taking both hands off the handlebars. Such freedom when you can do that, balance, ride, and feel the breeze the faster and faster you go.”

Lexus, Amazing Billboard Advertisement. May I Work For You?

Well, I found myself driving again and discovered another innovative billboard sign created for Lexus. This time I must admit it was a challenge snapping the photo. The physical location for this particular billboard sign is not the easiest location to get a picture while driving. It can only be described as awkward to snap a shot. I tried to take a picture a few times this week. When I viewed the picture it was blurry, etc. The picture I finally did acquire is not the best quality and I apologize for that but it truly was the best of those that I did take a photo of.
Did you give up your great billboard location signs? I use to be able to capture pictures of your billboard advertising so much easier just a few months ago? In order to get this picture I had to mentally make myself aware of approximately where the location is on the highway. Even at that it is not a location that the billboard is right in front of you, meaning it is not a great location type at that. I miss the other locations where the billboard is right in front of you practically. It reminded me that it just jumped out at you. On this current location I really do have to concentrate and watch for it coming up. Please go back to your great location billboards. You create such outstanding advertisement on your billboards that it is a shame that one has to hunt them out instead of them finding the customer out. Does that make sense.
I cannot repeat this enough...location, location, location is most important when selecting billboard advertising spots. Business owners out there really check out the billboard location before you commit to the agreement. Do not be afraid to go out there or send someone out there to scout out the potential billboard location before you publish the ad. I would definitely ask the question...Are trees in the area going to be a problem that will impede the viewing of my advertisement? Ask the billboard advertisement company if they will be held accountable for trimming the trees so as to not block the view of the advertisement.
Your Lexus advertisement so intrigues me. It causes me to wonder that if you are so innovative with advertisement then your automobile must truly be outstanding. That further causes me to think that working for such an outstanding organization must be quite a blessing working for you.
I am still waiting to see your vehicle in "motion" advertisement on billboards. I just know that if anyone out there can create it I believe it would be your organization that would take it to a level of performance quality. I heard the other day (from a customer of mine) that there is actually a billboard that is already in action with this or it is about to be in action in NYC that allows this concept. A moving billboard in the respect that I can have the vision to see an advertisement for Lexus in which part of the ad is the car driving right at you in action in the billboard advertisement. I say go for it and create it and people will love it. I know I have every confidence in you that I will love it even without it being conceived yet. That is how much I believe in your advertisement. Thank you for making the highway a much more pleasant place to be when sitting in traffic.

Someone Needed To Hear This Song Today. Be Encouraged & Have A Great Day

I woke up with this song playing in my mind/spirit. I went walking and that is the song I kept singing over and over again silently as I walked today. Now, you should know by now that this is how God uses me. A song playing over and over again in my mind means possibly to pay attention to the words. Someone out there is about to experience a whole new world and possibly you have been thinking about this for some time now. I am just the vessel Holy Spirit is using today to encourage you to step out in faith and do not be afraid. Sometimes it can be a bit uneasy when you step out in faith. For faith is done by just that FAITH. You leave your comfort zone and step into God's plan/destiny for your very life. It can cause one to stay frozen for not knowing the future in the faith step. Don't stay there frozen but trust Holy Spirit and let Him be your guide. I am preaching to myself too as I write this today. I remember many times I have stepped out of my comfort zone and into the faith zone and every single time God has been faithful to me. It only takes one action of faith to get you walking on the path of faith in your life. That truly is the safest place to be. Do not let others try to hold you back from walking by faith and not by sight.

Look What A Customer Blessed Me With...

I do not know if you know that I not only work a full-time job at 40 (sometimes 40+) hours a week. I also work a part-time job a few hours a week also. Believe it or not, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and even with that I still have to work two jobs to attempt to meet the basic necessities of life. Trust me when I share with you that I do not live an extravagant lifestyle. I was hired last year for a part-time job working in the retail arena. The employer is great at training their staff and I truly do enjoy interacting with customers. I must share this with you, I love when they assign me to be the person that samples products with the customers. I love to engage the customers and I bring excitement to them with the enthusiasm I share with them as they try the products I am sampling that day.
This past week I was at work and a customer asked information. I let them know I would seek out the information so I could give them the right answer to their inquiry and not a passive answer. Does that make sense. You never know who you are touching when you want to serve others and sometimes it is after the fact when you realize just how important that question you sought out the information for really meant to that person. You do know that people can detect when someone is not sincere or they are just saying something to be able to say something. I sought out the information with the help of another person. Received the proper information and then sought out the customer and shared the information.
I went back to my work area and someone told me that a customer wanted to speak with me. That they had something for me also. I first asked if it was OK to receive something from a customer and I was told it was OK. I then went to them and I was told that because of the service I gave to her sister that she wanted to give me something. This is what she makes and gives to others. I think this is such a novel way to bless another person. She handed it to me with the shirt/pant object facing me. It was when I walked away and showed someone what I received that I then noticed the scripture verse on the back side. What a great way to share the gospel message with others along with a $2.00 tip, creativity shared with you.
Remember when I shared with you how I like to bless others that take care of my room when I travel and stay in a hotel? I leave a cash tip on the night stand with a scripture verse for that person to find when I check out. I think this could also work for that very purpose too. I would have to take this apart to figure out how to create this. I think I can do it. If I can see a necklace and handcraft a bracelet to go along with it (just because I could not find one to match in the store) then surely I could learn this great way to bless another person.
Lesson learned in all of this. When you have a heart to share and help others and you do it then you just never know who God has set up that very day to come across your path and bless you when you least expect it. Not only the immediate blessing but now I was shown a clever way to share a blessing with another person and then type up my favorite scripture verse to go along with it. Another thought...I use to leave the monetary tip for the hotel employee tucked into a witnessing booklet or a scripture verse I wrote out for them. This would be a great way to leave it the same way too.
I hope my sharing with you today will cause you to get a little bolder, you know you really want to deep down inside right. Step out in faith, there are so many people that want to hear the gospel message. Share it with them and you will be glad that you did.

Kroger's Your Cinnamon Waffles Are Wonderful. I Stumbled Upon Them This Past Week & I Sure Am Glad That I Did. Coke, That New Billboard About Smart Water..Is It About The Product Or The Celebrity In The Ad. Poor Color Choice Again. Very Hard To Read The Print On The Billboard.

Well, last week I went to the store to purchase Eggo's Seasonal Pumpkin Spice waffles. This store did not carry them and I noticed their brand of cinnamon waffles. At $1.88 I thought to myself why not try them. They are also very good with returns if you are not pleased with the product. I had nothing to lose on this purchase. I was quite surprised when I tried them. I actually like them better than the Eggo brand.
This is how I prepare them. I put them in the toaster and then I spread Kroger's brand natural peanut butter on them while they are still warm right out of the toaster. Then a bit of Smucker's Apricot preserves too. Yum Yum.  Great with a cup of Pumpkin Pie flavored coffee that I brewed and flavored with the newer flavor of Natural Bliss coffee creamer in cinnamon. Can you tell I like the flavors of Fall at this time of the year? I also made a great recipe of ratatouille this past week and I added some hot Italian sausage to the recipe too. That was good with rigatoni noodles. Do not add the noodles to the ratatouille though. Best to serve the noodles under the dish and not add to the dish. Does that make sense. Great with some fresh grated Parmesan cheese on top and even better when it melts into the dish.
Coke, I tried to like your new billboard but I just cannot click with it. Why do you keep using white as the background and faintly using print colors that one can read without straining to read them. Is this billboard about the product or the actress in the ad? Whoever is designing your recent billboards is selling you a bad bill of goods. Really search out another to get back those great billboard ads that capture my attention while on the highway.

Look What I Have Been Up To, Making Chocolate Chip Message Cookies

Yep, that is right. I have been making chocolate chip message cookies and guess what? It is fun. They are easy to make too. I have found that the simple way and quickest way is to use Nestle's Toll House cookie dough already prepared in the tub. You can get it in the refrigerated section at the grocery store. It is located by the cookie section but it is usually on a bottom shelf since it won't fit into the compartments already set up for the break and bake type of cookies. I really did not want to spend $4.99 for the tub of cookie dough but it was the easiest and time saving route at the time. It proved to be not a bad economical route in the end since I was able to make two large message cookies out of it. Of course I jazzed it up a bit too. I followed the directions on the container but I added to it. Once I spread the cookie dough in the pizza pan I then pressed into the dough Ghiradelli bitter chocolate chips. The second one I did the same for also. I would suggest letting the cookie dough get a bit warm like setting it out to soften a bit it makes it easier for spreading in the pan. It really does not take long to assemble. I was pinched for time the first time I made it so when it came out of the oven I then cheated and put it in the freezer to cool faster. I made the homemade butter cream frosting while it was baking so I needed to be able to decorate it quickly. Putting it in the freezer worked. I do enjoy making my butter cream frosting. I then decorate. Sometimes I have a plan of action (the message on the cookie and on the second one I just decorated with a Fall type of theme.
The first one I made for someone that was moving and so I thought it was appropriate to acknowledge that. They have wanted to move for several years and it was now the time to do it. I also thought that if I plant a seed of faith into this person's life with speaking a prophetic message via cookie message that God will be faithful to me in my life with a prophetic dream that He gave to me to come into fruition in my life now.
If God gives you the dream/vision for your life then never let go of it for He will surely make it come to pass. It may not always be in your time frame that you want it to happen or your conceived mind set but it will come to pass in His timing when He sees the completed picture and when it will all come together and come forth, Do not faint in waiting for it or give up hope for that is exactly what the enemy wants you to do. Is their a dream or vision or even a business desire tucked inside of you? Did you seek the Lord to confirm that it was placed their by God and not some desire that you made up? That is a key factor in all of this. The dream/vision must come from God and when you get it you must then test to see if it truly did come from God. If you get a negative when you seek Him about it then you have the responsibility to get rid of that dream/vision so as to not let the enemy plant his ideas into your mind and take you off God's path on a detour. You know, he just loves to do that. When you are moving and flowing with God do not be surprised that the enemy will come in like a rapid flood to try and destroy destiny. Guess what, he loses and that is the comforting thing in all of this. God will show you the roadblocks the enemy sets up for you to either not take that route or to cancel the assignment he tried to send forth for your life. Be wise in the days in which we live in right now for the enemy is out there working hard to stop the saints of God but it seems to be that the harder he works at it the stronger the saints become and do not fall for his tricks.
That is why it is ever so important to walk and talk with God. He gave us Holy Spirit to guide us and do not neglect your relationship with Holy Spirit OK. He is not some dead/written character in a book He is alive and moving on the face of the earth. Will you move with Him or against Him? The choice really is yours.

If you look hard enough you will see I used an orange frosting but I did accent with Fall colored sugar too. I vaguely remember the colors of the license plates in OH that is why I chose red, white and blue. I think those were the colors on the plates. Also, red was a favorite color of the person I made that cookie for.

Want to hear something funny. It gave me a chuckle when I heard it. My niece told me that it looked professional and it was better than the one's she has had from Mrs. Field's. Oh to see things through the eyes of the young. They see it as one way and I see it as it is not professional enough to sell. You do know that I have never taken any cake decorating classes right. I just pick up the tools and create. Maybe that may be something for me to do one day but for now I have two big, major projects on my plate. I guess taking time out to create like this takes the pressure off of me even thinking about what is down the road for me. Amazing what you can hear if you open your ears to hear what people are saying.

To The Person That Pick-Pocketed At That Large Event. You Are The One That Stole The I-Phone & Wallet. Did You Know That Jesus Died So You Could Be Forgiven. Just Ask Him & Then Change Your Ways.

I wrote this just as the new day was starting but held off in publishing it until now. I now know why that happened, one of the scripture verses I read a few moments ago is to be added to this. God is great and greatly to be praised because He knew all along that I was going to read this scripture today and it will tie in all that I am writing about in this blog. Give thanks to God for He truly is great.
Hebrews 1: 1-4
"In the past God spoke to our ancestors at many different times and in many different ways through the prophets. In these last days he has spoken to us through his Son. God made his Son responsible for everything. His Son is the one through whom God made the universe. His son is the reflection of God's glory and the exact likeness of God's being. He holds everything together through his powerful words. After he had cleansed people of their sins, he received the highest position, the one next to the Father in heaven."
This happened to someone I know. This is also a testimony to the power of praying for those God has you pray for. When one is raised in a small town atmosphere and then moves to a large metropolitan area you may find yourself being overly trusting of others and your guard may be let down at times.
So, you are with your friends and then you get separated from them and realize that someone stole your phone and your wallet too. How do you connect with them to meet up again with them so you can go home? You cannot when there are thousands of people at the event you are at. What does one do? I suppose you begin walking in hopes that you will get home eventually. This is where the testimony comes in...I pray a certain prayer daily and I was able to see that the favor of God was with this person on their journey home. Truly, God's favor was with them. They walked for about 30 minutes in an area of town that I have been in before and lock my car doors even in daylight when I was in this area. This person walked in this area and no harm came to them at all. Let me tell you more about the favor of God. They get to a bus stop and the bus driver lets them on the bus after they explain what happened to them without having any money on them to pay the fare. They are dropped off closer to their home and then this person hails a cab and explains the story to them also. The cab driver actually let's them use their cellphone to place a call and trusted them that they would pay them for the fare once they got home.
That is the favor of God and protection of God too. Living in a larger metropolitan area you always hear stories on the news of someone getting robbed or held up at gun point. God took exceptional care of this person and all the thanksgiving and glory goes directly to God. Thank you God, a million thanks to you. I also in advance thank you a million thanks for the one that reads this and turns their heart to you and invites Jesus into their heart to change their ways and will live with you in eternity forever. I have the faith to believe that Holy Spirit has me writing this very moment in time to reach out to the lost and miserable. Know that Jesus loves you and if you would just ask Him to forgive your sins and you have sincerity in your heart when you ask He will do that for you, He really will. When I prayed and asked Jesus into my heart He forgave me of my sins. Even now, if I sin I ask Him for His forgiveness and He forgives me.
Why keep that sin and guilt inside of you when He died on a cross and three days later He rose from the dead and He is alive right now? Ask Jesus to first forgive your sins. Acknowledge that you are a sinner He already knows that since He is God right? Let Him forgive you. Then acknowledge that He is real and alive and that He did die on a cross and three days later He did come back to life when He rose from the dead. He came to the earth just to sacrifice His life so you could have eternal life with Him in heaven for all eternity. So you (if you choose this) do not have to live for all eternity in hell. Calm yourself and take a deep breath and then ask Jesus to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life. You must realize that eternal life in heaven is not by what you can or could do but it is through Jesus coming and taking away your sins so you may have life with Him forever. I trust you are being sincere with this prayer and if you are Jesus will hear that prayer. Speak from your heart to Him and He will listen and respond. Did you know that the moment in which you invite Jesus into your heart all the angels in heaven listen to this prayer. Isn't that amazing that they listen to hear your very prayer. The bible also states that the moment you pray the prayer your name is then recorded in The Lamb's Book of Life. The decision you just made will be the best decision of your life. May I suggest that you tell someone that you gave your heart to the Lord. May I also suggest to you that getting a bible and reading one chapter a day starting with the New Testament will be a tremendous help to you. By reading this you will get to know Jesus and about His life and what He did while He was here living here on earth. Congratulations.
PS: After the fact, we prayed together so no anger would come into their heart and open the door to the enemy and for them to also forgive them. I also reminded them that Jesus died on the cross not just for us but for this person too, He did not want them to live in hell for all eternity. Never be ashamed to pray with someone when Holy Spirit is nudging you to do so and the other person is willing for you to pray with them. That is the safest place to be, trusting in Holy Spirit to guide your steps.
PSS: One more thought on this subject. Thank you Lord for the people you put in this person's path to allow them to get home safely. I ask you to bless them in a mighty way for their kindness. If they do not already know You Jesus may they have the opportunity presented to them to meet you and if they already know You may they receive a double blessing for extending a Christian helping hand out to one in need. You truly are awesome Lord and I give thanks in my heart that you are in my heart.

I Am Learning So Much Reading Through The Bible, A Chapter Out Of 6 Different Sections Each Day. Holy Spirit You Are Amazing!!!

My bible is truly coming to life in me as I read from it via the suggestion from the former missionary. Thank you Holy Spirit for placing this person before me the day that they showed up. You continue to amaze me so much Holy Spirit as you continue to give me divine revelation as I read through the bible this time. Some of the revelation is in the form of being practical but other revelation is a deep insight to me and it allows me to then pray in a different manner of prayer. I am able to target and zone in on things in a deeper way. You truly do amaze me Holy Spirit. I am not ashamed to honor you and give thanks to you for all the world to read for you are great and glorious and I will sing praises to God throughout the ages.
I have read scripture verses many times throughout the years and probably seen or read some of them many times too. Why was it not until today that I realized that the Psalms are actually divided into 5 books. Did you know that? Some of you probably do know that. For those of you that did not have knowledge of this before today this is the break down: #1 Psalms 1-41; #2 Psalms 42-72; #3 Psalms 73-89; #4 Psalms 90-106; #5 Psalms 107-150. I guess today was the day I paid attention because I just realized this as I was about to start reading book #5. Why did I not pay attention to this prior to today? I guess today was the day I was to catch the revelation.
As I was walking this morning I was talking silently with Holy Spirit to contemplate what I would write about today. Now, this was prior to reading the bible and catching that revelation too. I was thinking about a situation and how someone said they were going to do something and never followed through on it. That can become frustrating if you allow it to do that to you. I then thought about my own life and asked forgiveness of God if I said I was going to do something and I did not follow through. It is funny how one minute you could be thinking about a short coming of another person and Holy Spirit will cause you tho think about short comings in your own life. I am so glad Holy Spirit is there to bring remembrance to our memory so we can have the opportunity to ask forgiveness of the things that need to be asked forgiveness in our own very life and turn around the pointing of the finger in another persons life. Thank you Holy Spirit.
So I am walking and I get an acronym to describe the word LIAR.
This is what I am shown and then after reading scripture I looked up the definitions to bring greater clarification to the meaning shown to me.

The definition of inappropriate means not suitable or proper in the circumstances. Unsuitable or improper.
The definition of associations means a connection or cooperative link between people or organizations. A group of people organized for a joint purpose.

I will leave the rest up to you to figure out the connection to the word liar. You probably made the connection that hanging around with inappropriate associates can cause one to lie. You do become like those you allow to enter into your life and hang around with, be it good influences or bad influences. Who are you hanging around with these days?

So I finish this research and oddly enough many weeks ago I did a search on the words "bottomless pit." In reference to its meaning in the bible. I had this piece of paper in my bible and that is what I used to jot down the other definitions. I will share with you what I found when I researched the bottomless pit weeks ago but now I will first share with you what definition I found today. Bottomless pit is something that drains all one's energy or resources. Are you hanging around with people that can cause this to happen in your very life?

I Google searched bottomless pit weeks ago and came across a Christian website and these are the notes as I jotted them down back then. I will put them is quotation marks but I did not write down the source, so sorry for that. Back when I researched this I thought I was just getting the info for my own knowledge, never did I dream that I would be sharing it will all of you.
"Bottomless Pit: Immeasurable depth bottomless pit of Revelation 9:1-12 holds a unique type of demons/home of the beast who makes war against the 2 witnesses at beginning of millennial kingdom-the bottomless pit is where satan is bound it refers to the place where angels who sinned are reserved in chains of darkness for judgement. The same angels who abandoned their own home. God uses it as a holding place for the most evil of angels, including satan himself and those who tried and failed before the flood to thwart God's plan to bring the seed of the woman into the world. The inhabitants of the abyss are released for a very short time during the last 3 1/2 years of the tribulation to fulfill God's purpose namely, to torment the wicked. These prisoners of the bottomless pit hate humanity and seek to destroy them, but God controls their terror and limits their power."

Well, that must have been for some one's knowledge that may have been seeking Holy Spirit about that subject. I encourage you to pick up the bible and read from it and you will glean so much if you allow Holy Spirit to share with you. One more thing, you will not receive this knowledge without being a "born again" believer in Jesus Christ. You see, the light is not shed abroad on you if you do not know Him as your personal Lord and Savior. Want to know Him? Let me share with you how you can become a believer. All you have to do is confess that Jesus came into the world via the virgin birth, He walked and lived on the earth for a season, he performed miracles and healed many and set them free from the bondage of satan and evil spirits and then He died on the cross. He then rose from the dead three days later and came back to life and He is still alive right now. He is waiting for you to ask Him into your heart. Why not accept the invitation? That was the best thing I ever did in my life, was to invite Jesus into my heart and forgive my sins and make me a new creature a new creation. Just quiet yourself and ask Jesus to forgive your sins, you must first be willing to admit to yourself that you are a sinner. A sinner is a sinner no matter what degree the sin is. Did you ever lie, including those white lies that you may have been taught were really not lies. Listen, a lie is a lie is a lie. You cannot sugar coat it to not make it a lie right? Then acknowledge that Jesus did die on the cross and shed His blood so you could have life in Him not just today but for all eternity. It is not by any works that you did perform or could ever perform it is by what He did to set you free. You will be with Him for all eternity in heaven. Thank Him for that and ask Him into your heart. He will come to you and He is waiting for you to ask Him into your life.

Look What I Saw Today

I was blessed to be able to see this series of views as I was reading the bible today. I captured the different phases as the sun rose. How can anyone ever even question when looking at the sun rising in the sky that God is God and He creates such beauty for us to enjoy.
Do you ever look into the sky and admire God's handiwork? I do and I am most thankful that He allows the viewer to enjoy His creations.

"Will You Let My Peace Have Its Work?"



I hear the Lord saying, "My peace I give unto you. I give it to you. Will you receive it? Will you let it melt away every worry, every fear, and every stress? Will you let My peace come in, to pour over you oil of healing – into your mind, into your bodies, into your spirits, into your souls?



"Will you let My peace open and close doors? For even when a door is slammed in your face, will you step back in grace, and say, 'I thank You, Lord, for Your peace that leads me'?



"Will you let My peace have its work? Will you let My peace complete what it was told to do? For I am called the 'Prince of Peace,' and when you encounter the peace, you are encountering the 'Prince of Peace.'



"Ask Me to come into turbulent situations. Let Me come and still those storms, just as I brought My peace in the middle of the night, when there were storms bringing a tossing about. "I would ask you to learn this lesson well. When turbulence is all around you, and when the no's become the yes's that you do not want to hear, and the yes's become the no's that you do not want to hear, you stand in peace and say, 'I surrender unto You, Lord.'



Conquer Turbulence



"Have a heart of submission. Have the will of submission. Learn not to be at war with My will, nor My timing, nor with My ways. But live with peace, and let no man rob your peace. Let them not enter in to your territory, and steal your peace, and bring their turbulence. Instead, let your peace conquer their turbulence.



"For many of you are like My ships that I send out among the waters that are turning, and twisting, and casting My people this way and that way. And there is no direction, and the night is dark, and they do not see the stars, even for guidance. And I send you in with My peace – to speak My stillness – to where they can hear My Spirit.



"You cannot hear My Spirit in turbulence, only if you strain, but I do not want you to strain. I want you to be still, and become familiar with My peace. For the enemy knows not peace. He cannot counterfeit My peace. He cannot touch My peace, for I took the victory over peace.



"When I was declared the 'Prince of Peace,' I own peace. Let My peace own you. Speak it into your household. Speak it against fear, and stress, and worry. Speak it over your bodies, into your minds. Let My peace be the ruler of your soul. Let My peace be the ruler of decisions.



"Be not fearful when I give you a check in your spirit. See that as if I have sent a storm to say, 'Be still and wait.' Do not fight My peace, but let My peace embrace you.



"Understand, every time My peace takes more territory in your life, you become more in My territory. Let Me own your turbulence. And I want you to own My peace.

"Claim peace – peace with those around you, but even far greater, peace within yourself. Make peace with yourself, so that you can recognize the visitation of My peace that is upon you. For My Son was the peacemaker, My Son was the offering of eternal peace. Enter in to His work on the Cross. Partake of the peace that He died for. He died that you could live in His peace.



"Once again I say, 'My peace I offer to you.' I extend My hand of peace. Not flippantly, not without realizing the value and the cost. For within that hand, I offer you back My Son. And I say, 'Take My Son. Embrace My Son, the Prince of Peace.'



"Be not fearful, but let Him embrace you fully, just as I embraced My own in the storm. Let Him embrace you in your storm. And you will come to know Him, too, not only as Redeemer, as Savior, as King of kings, Lord of Lords, Healer, and Deliverer, but you will come to know Him and claim His dominion as, 'The Prince of Peace, Him whom you bow your knee to, and Him whom holds My hand within His hand. And He in turn will devour My turbulence, and in exchange, I will be melted away in His peace.' Choose My peace," says the Lord your God.

"I Put Upon Your Head Dignity, Honor, Strength, and For Some, Understanding"



I hear the Lord say, "Lift Me up. When I am lifted up and when I am exalted, then everything else will rest under My feet. For I said in My Word that the earth is My footstool.



"Know I can change all things in an instant. I change evil to good, weakness to strength, sickness to health, death to life, fear to faith, sorrow to joy. For with Me all things are possible. Allow My Spirit to hover. Allow My Spirit to go into your heart, to where there has been pain, rejection, abandonment and fear; where there is such confusion, that you are exhausted from trying to figure your own way out of the jungle.



"For I am not only the God that makes a way where there is no way, but I am the way. I will come with the sword of My Spirit when you are too tired, and I will cut a pathway. I will say, 'Rise up on the wings of an eagle.' And let My Spirit come and rise under the eagle, for you will have the peace of My Spirit, and you will have the strength of an eagle. You will have the sight of the eagle, but the gentleness of a dove. I am not the author of confusion, or pain, but I am the Author of love and gain.



"Forgive those who have wronged you. Let no man, and I say again, no man, no organization, no past, no present, no future – hold the key that would hold you back. Give Me back the key. And do not return to the prison of shame, or regret, or the what if's, but hold your head in dignity. Practice this.



"Learn to walk as I've created you to walk – with your head held high, with respect, with dignity, with honor. For tonight I put upon your head dignity, honor, strength, and for some, understanding. You don't even know the questions, for the answers I want to give you.



"Let My peace come. Let My peace settle down the storm. Let My peace draw you unto Myself, and let My peace be the covering over you. For did I not say I have sent you, and left you, My Comforter. He is My blanket. Let Him comfort you. Let Him comfort you. Let Him cover you. Let Him be the One that fluffs the pillows and gives you the dreams of My Spirit. Let Him be the One that sits with you to be the Comforter, so you feel warm and safe and secure. And let Him be the One that causes you to rise up; and tells you when to rise.



"For as you learn to rest, you will watch the test pass away, and you will watch the rest sustain you. For in My rest, there is strength," says the Lord your God, "Rest in My way."

I Miss The "Summer" Coke Ad, Do Not Like The Diet Coke Billboard Signs. You Decide. Lexus So Glad To See Inviting Billboards Around Town Again. The "Live" Billboard People Were On The Bridge The Other Day Sharing Their Message, Found A 3rd Favorite Song Too.

Well, I sure do miss the "Summer is Open" billboard signs for Coke. They were replaced with the new Diet Coke billboards. This puzzles me a bit since Coke Zero is the popular soda drink of choice. Maybe they are targeting people to get their sales up in Diet Coke. From the picture you will see that it is not the easiest sign to read.

Lexus, on the other hand, also used the color white but used it to stand out in their billboard sign. I so love their billboard campaign ads when they bring the car to you on the billboard. It makes you want to go and check out that car doesn't it? What do you think?

Last week the "Live" billboard people were out on the bridge again during the morning traffic sharing their message with the passer-byes (probably not a proper word but I like the way it sounds.) They really do want to get their message out there don't they?

I played the Chris Tomlin CD again today and found my third favorite song, Jesus Son Of God.

My 2 New Favorite Worship Songs

Are you thankful that God saved you? I am. The best part of the first song is about 2 minutes and 10 seconds into the song. At that point turn up the volume and listen to the music. The louder the volume the better it sounds. This is my new favorite song in which I have "repeat" set in my car when I listen to this. The presence of God is real, listen to this and invite Holy Spirit to join you.

My second favorite song on this CD is  Crown Him (Majesty)

New Recipe (I recently tried): Ricotta & Squash Galette. I Made It Twice & It Is Excellent Why Not Try It Today?

I was waiting for an appointment and reading a magazine while I was waiting. I saw an interesting recipe and so I took a picture of it. That is what I am sharing with you today. I will post the picture I took of the recipe for you to enjoy. I have made this twice so far. I did adjust it a bit. One one side I add chopped jalapeno peppers (fresh picked from a plant on my patio). The fresh dill also comes from one of the plants on the patio too. I even planted (in pots) plum tomatoes and cherry tomatoes too and I enjoy picking the harvest as they ripen. There is just something "great tasting" when you plant vegetables and then the harvesting of them. Tomatoes just taste better when you do the work for the fruit to come forth do you agree?
The second time I made this recipe I also added cooked crumbled sausage to it. It enhanced the flavor too. This is a great meal and all you need to add to it is a refreshing side salad. I made a salad of fresh (pickle size) cucumbers (peeled and thinly sliced) and tomatoes (from a local farmer) with vidalia onions and I had a little bit of avocado I chopped up. I then seasoned it with garlic salt and pepper and then olive oil and white wine vinegar. I then add to it fresh picked chives (that I grow.) Good dinner.  I did go to a local farmer and that is where I bought the squash for this meal. If you are in an area that allows you to support the local farmers why not bless them and then you will be blessed also from the fruit of their labor when they planted, tended the garden and then harvested the fruit of their labor.
I also made brownies too. I like to add chocolate chunks to the mix and it seems to make them more rich after they are baked. I then made a cocoa butter cream frosting and then I decorated a few pieces with peanut butter malted milk ball candy. Have you ever tried one? I also like to make a trip to a local Amish goods store on occasion. They purchase in bulk and then package items for you to purchase. Think of it like this...in you mind envision a malted milk ball. Do you have that image in your mind right now? Great, now if I were to cut one in half this is what you would see: malted milk in the center then surrounded by peanut butter and then coated in milk chocolate. They appear to be larger in size than the standard malted milk ball candy.
