I never thought I would be thinking like this if you would have asked me this 3 months ago. I continue to honor your fighting for our country and display the garden flag of you on the day you were shot in PA. I still have your thumb up sticker placed in the back window of my car along with a TRUMP visor in support of you being elected as our President, To Make America Great Again. There just comes a point of being when the Faith Office located in the White House brings on board as members of the Faith Advisory Board Joni Lamb & Doug Weiss as a part of their group to advise Mr. President. Are you aware of what is happening @ Daystar TV, it has been all over the news. Accusations of allegedly one of her grandchildren being s. a.  by a family member and it is being covered up? Please have someone look into this because evangelicals are crying out for help to uncover this sort of sick behavior in the church and ministries. In my humble opinion, instead of a Faith Office being formed there should possibly be formed the DOMA, Department of Ministry Abuse and take a deep dive look into ministries in the USA that should be exposed and dealt with accordingly. Maybe if their 501c3 status be removed from some ministries they just might clean up their acts. Uh oh, there I go thinking out loud again.

Please re-consider who is heading up your newly formed Faith Office and do a deeper look into how they allegedly handled/destroyed a church and did not pay their bills. Please, I ask of you as a strong believer in Jesus and I know He would not be operating any ministry like some are. So, alleged bad deeds are then elevated to higher positions that are to be esteemed. I can think of many keyboard prophets out there exposing these bad deeds in the church that could possible better serve you as an advisor, in my humble opinion that is. I do not condone such practices as the one's mentioned in this blog today and surely, I do not prefer them speaking as a voice for my life as a Christian. Please Mr. President, do deep dive vetting and background checks on these people being assigned to speak into your ear as a representative of the Christian community. Ther beliefs and morals do not in my opinion line up with the bible/word of God and the way I live my life also.

Kroger, You Should Be Ashamed Of Calling Our Store A "Remodel" When It Clearly Is Not. Do You Care To Explain?

I went to Kroger's a few weeks ago and saw a sign that the store was closed due to being remodeled. Wow, it only took a few days to do an entire store overhaul/remodel. How impressive that one may think. Well, surprise, surprise. In my opinion it was not remodeled. Hey, right off of the produce section where you used to be able to find the healthy type of products was now replaced with shelves of wine. Across from the wine you will find more wine and, in the coolers, where you used to find the healthy choice refrigerated items you now see apparently shut off coolers and it appears they store bags of tortilla chips. Maybe from the deli type of tortilla chips. Looks the same as when they were filling it up like that on the grand remodeling day event. Oh, I had the ears of a few executive staff type of people that were in the store that day for the event. No sooner did I notice when entering the store there were no new floors laid, same old flooring with the apparent cracks still in the floor. When I spoke to a contractor that said he was working on the floors he told me they were getting all new floors. Can you see my shock and disappointment when I walked in and there were no new floors. Apparently, they just brought in a company to clean the floors already there. Oh, they may have updated a few displays in the produce department but let's now fast forward to the other day while @ the newly, supposedly remodeled Kroger's if I may.

I went in there specifically to purchase brussel sprouts, avocado and a red pepper. Their produce department in my opinion was disgusting. Same old, same old open bins where fresh produce is placed still looking unkempt. Who in the world would want to purchase items from those bins. Now, I begin to look at produce a bit more. Old looking fresh green beans in the open; wilted and shriveled up brussel sprouts; colored peppers that had no smooth surfaces, but you could tell they were not fresh because they began to get the soft, wrinkled look to them. Very few avocados that were featured on sale, maybe a handful if even that and none of them looked good and they were punny in size also. I then began inquiring are there any fresh brussel sprouts & avocados. I then asked to speak to a manager on duty. This was the evening store manager, and I pointed out all the unkempt looking, no longer fresh produce to them. They said no truck came in to replace some of the produce. I questioned the not so clean produce bins and further pointed out this was no remodel and pointed to the cracked flooring. This manager did agree to give me for the price of regular brussel sprouts a bag of organic ones. Even at that we had to sort through to see which bag was less wilted looking. Needless to say, I picked up a few items about 25.000 worth and then went to Publix, where it is always a clean store, and their produce gives the appearance of being fresh. Oh, I did let the store manager know how unfair it was for the day crew to not address these produce situations and leave it for the night crew to have to deal with. That is not acceptable to push things off onto other employees to have to deal with their lack of going through and pulling items not fit for consumption during the day when I would guess there may be more staff on hand as opposed to night shift staff.

Let's compare the 2 stores when it comes to customer service if I may. During the Kroger's event I spoke with 2 others who looked like executive management. One in the meat department and I inquired why I cannot get the duroc pork at this store, they said they would put in a request for some to come to this store, but it may not be stocked at this store because it does not sell too good. Oh, I am guessing a healthier choice of meat doesn't sell to well but hey let's stock up the wine selection. Then while in the dairy inquired why they haven't had the Simple Truth smaller sized half/half and just the larger size and for 1 person that size spoiled faster. That gentleman showed me there is actually a label in the cooler for that item and it was empty. I have checked on both items and guess what, they are not in stock to purchase at this store. Was that just lip service given to me that day or the grand remodel event?

Publix is most efficient when it comes to customer service, in my opinion that it is. I inquired with the grocery manager 1 day about getting Aloha protein bars in the store. She actually walked me over to the checkout end cap where you can buy a few individual bars they had. I asked if they could get possibly 2-3 more flavors, and could I purchase 12 count boxes? I received a phone call, and she was able to order 2 of the 3 flavors but you cannot purchase them by the box. That is okay, for 2.69 a bar it will do in a pinch. That is about the same price as Sprouts Market sells them for. I then inquired about a certain type of pretzel that other stores carry; she was going to look into that for me also. They are I think called Unique brand and they are only the pretzel shells. Great concept. The crunch and saltiness of the exterior of a pretzel with no pretzel filling. Great to serve with pimento cheese when I make it.

I will keep you posted on any updates since I also reached out to the store about these concerns. I saw a bluebird early this morning and heard the cooing sounds of mourning doves the other day. Do you think springtime is just around the corner in my area.

I still want to know why Lou Engle was allowed to head up a big event not so long ago. I sat in Belmont Church in Nashville a few years ago and had to listen to a confession made to us sitting in that church with his problem with pornography. People that came to church to hear the word of God were then assaulted with hearing his confession, innocent church goers getting this dumped on us in a church. Did anyone ask him to be seated for a season or not. I do not know the answer to that. Or the other option may be the leaders in church didn't think it applied to him since he confessed his sin. Why has no one approached us for a formal apology for having to experience that in a church. Maybe it would have been better served if Lou Engle confessed his sin to maybe the male ministers in the church that very day. You know, taking into consideration there were women and children seated in that church service, did anyone consider our well-being. There I go thinking out loud again. When I left that church service that evening I felt like dirt was dumped on me by the words of another. That just should not be happening in a church. Please males confess your sins to other men and don't dump that on females/children seated in a church setting. These are just my thoughts on this subject, being there and actually experiencing this and sitting through this. Maybe others were not affected by this like I was that evening.

There Was Purpose In Me Creating The Lego Rose Set. Would You Like To Know Why?

I built the 2 pieces rose set a few weeks ago. Their purpose of being created was for such this day. The day being 2/14/2025, Valentine's Day we celebrate in the USA. I built them for 2 widow neighbors where I reside. I went and purchased a few Russell Stover chocolates, and I will place a rose with each one for these truly God fearing, strong Christian women. I recently saw a new recipe for Italian Spring/Easter cookies and maybe I will bake them and add to their sweet treats. I also purchased a box of Barbie notecards, and I selected 1 for each of these ladies and it is a blank inside notecard and I wrote them each a little note to go with their treats. Oh, I also made up a plate of the cookies and brought them to my favorite grocery store in town and I also wrote a note for them with 1 of the "Barbie" notecards.

I heard from another neighbor, and I will try to make a meal for them this weekend to drop off to them. I put their already baked cookies in the freezer so I can add them to their meal. I am thinking of taking a mixture of cheese ravioli and cavatelli's as a layer then place ricotta cheese, chopped fresh baby spinach then cheese and Italian sauce and then another layer and bake it in the oven. I found a garlic infused bread @ Publix and I will send that with the meal also. Isn't it fun to bless others. I think it is the best thing in the world to be blessed to be a blessing to bless others. On this day known for love why not bless another to lighten or lift their day today. It is so much far better to bless than to sit around and expect blessings to keep coming to you. If you are blessed with even little things in your life, do not be afraid to give it away to bless another. I have found that Holy Spirit is so faithful in my life and for that I am truly thankful. To God be the glory.

I sent a hard written note to First Lady Melania when President Trump was in the White House during his first term in office. I received a lovely note back from her at the time. They really are a gracious couple, and I am most thankful they are bringing back grace, elegance and proper etiquette back to the White House.

Here They Are At It Once Again. Whom In The World Are Finding These Alleged Prophets Credible Is My Question. Great Job Longfor Truth1.

Here we go again. Will I ever tire of using that expression? For the time being I would say not because it seems to keep popping up as my response to some of this outlandish stuff out there all being done in the name of the Lord. God is watching and I can surely say He will take off the covers and expose those that are monetizing the Gospel and name of the Lord. He is not a God that shall be mocked. This was a video that captured my attention yesterday. Along with the full 2-part interview with Julie Roys interviewing the Jane Doe in the Mike Bickle story but since then has come out to reveal her name. Then Joshua Simone of Torn Curtain Ministry did a great eye-opening video with some more coming out in regard to Mike Bickle. Why has no one in law enforcement approached this and at least brought this man in to be questioned. Maybe they have and I am just not aware of it at this time. I sure hope this is not the Catholic Church situation all over again where they internally take care of the matter and somehow many alleged priests that brought harm to innocent children and even some nuns were never brought before the people in a court of law for all to be witnessed the exposure of this terrible sin within the church. I can honestly say I am thankful I am not a practicing Catholic now. With all of this stuff going on out there.

Did you know I reached out to someone at my former Jesuit university I attended/graduated from and asked them why they are so liberal it seems now. I shared how when reading my alumni journal periodical my dislike in seeing pictures of a wedding that recently took pace of 2 women in wedding dresses getting married to each other and someone submitted the photo to then be shared in our alumni journal periodical. My goodness, this is by all mean is supposed to be a Catholic university overseen by Jesuits. This is not the first time I have seen a wedding photo of this nature in my alumni journal. This is a blatant slap in the face to Jesus and the holy bible. I think in the email I may have questioned if they even teach about Jesus and salvation at this university because they are too busy teaching world religions and how it is okay the things included in the Muslim faith book like our believers in the holy bible. The written word of God is the holy bible. As expected, not a single response was sent to me in reference to my concerns. I know of this firsthand because one of my children is also a graduate from the Jesuit university and I began to question when they became such a liberal university. I can assure you it was not like that, or I was not aware of it being like that when I attended & graduated from this private university. Church in general, regardless of their denomination clean up your act & repent or God will use others to expose and expel the evidence to cleanse the church. Please note that I know there are many good, sound bible teaching churches out there not involved in some of this smut being exposed and may I encourage you to keep teaching the gospel truth and having altar calls for the lost to be given the invitation to invite Jesus into their heart. Please keep preaching that there are only 2 places one will go when they draw their last breath here on earth, either heaven or hell and the choice is truly theirs to make where they choose while they are still alive. No prayers, burning of candles, praying novena's, praying to church saints can change this once they draw that last breath here on earth. They will either be in heaven or hell for all eternity.

Hey, so called prophets out there. Instead of making your supposed Godly words spoken in the alleged office of a so-called prophet, may I suggest getting back to basics and preach more on the reality of hell and heaven and quit focusing on the next word that just has to get out there for all the world to hear. Uh oh, there I go speaking my thoughts out loud again. If the proverbial shoe fits, then wear it.

VITA Is Such A Blessing To Those That Qualify. May I Share.

I was made aware of the VITA volunteer program years ago and have been an avid fan ever since. There are income restrictions and other sorts to allow you not to participate in this program. If you qualify, I highly recommend having these volunteers file your taxes for you. They are knowledgeable, efficient and they have someone double check their work before the tax return is submitted all for the cost of zero dollars spent to have them file your tax return. 

I have gone to several locations to see if they are the same quality of service, and I can gladly report, yes, they are. Now, in regard to the IRS website, not so much. They are not posting correct information as to the locations and if they require an appointment or not. It was confusing this year because 1 location stated on the website the hours listed, and I just thought I better call to verify before going to another location. So glad I did, this library location states on the website 2 days hours available and in actuality, only 1 day not 2 days and it is by appointment, and I was told all appointments were already booked. They offered to place me on a wait list and then gave me the phone number to reach out to someone to call me back in regard to this. I received a phone call the next day and I let them know how the IRS website is not correct in listing what they are listing.

I shared how helpful a prior location filed my taxes but this year they were not even listed on the IRS website at all. They were last year and not this year. The person I spoke with assured me they are filing taxes at that location again this year. They gave me the address of the location and the hours of being available to file your taxes. I let this representative know how they are not even listed, and other incorrect info is on the IRS website under VITA locations, and they shared they have no control of what the IRS posts. Isn't that a simple shame. A volunteer organization assisting people that qualify with their taxes, and they don't even post accurate info to help the people.

Once again, a stellar job at handling the filing of my taxes. I am so thankful for this organization and even baked a few cookies to bring to them as a treat. Did you know Pillsbury has a limited-edition cookie dough for you to bake? The flavor is Red Velvet with Oreo pieces. I baked some the other day and then made a homemade almond flavored butter cream frosting to frost them with. Oh, this limited edition makes 12 big cookies. I just bought a second package and have some in the oven right now. See, a neighbor was having a medical procedure done and yesterday I made a pasta bake, homemade garlic bread and cookies also. I left a message I made it but found out they are still not able to eat it yet. So, I will divide the pasta and garlic bread and share it with 2 other neighbors. I will freeze the cookies I made to drop off at a later time. Imagine that a simple package of cookie dough is being used to bless others. I must admit, I tried them, and they are pretty good at least frosted. I cannot tempt myself to try this batch though. I will distribute this unfrosted batch to neighbors and maybe take some into work also.

I feel led to go get some Russell Stover chocolates to share for Valentine's Day with my elderly neighbors along with a suggestion from 1 of my children. Bless them with the Lego roses I made along with the chocolates. That is what I plan on doing. While in the area I may stop by Walmart to see if they still have the Lego ukulele design in stock for me to build and then place on my desk at work. If I can squeeze some time in today, I would maybe like to go see the movie Mufasa The Lion King if it is still playing.

Search in your heart today to see if there is someone you can reach out to kindness with to bless them. Remember, the numerous times people reached out to you or even your ministry to bless you. Just a thought.

Oh, while waiting because there was a list of people there that day, I brought my book along with me, "Melania" and read while waiting for my turn. It is such a pleasure to read a book so far with no typo errors or misspelled words. See, that is what a good publishing company does, edits a book properly.

One more thought to share with you in regard to VITA. There have been times when I walked in, and no one was there ahead of me or just a few people ahead of you. There are times that you may have to wait because there may be several people ahead of you. Wherever you choose to go, may I suggest you being there in enough time to possibly place yourself close to the beginning of the line when people may line up to go in when the doors open up. Thank you, VITA, you are a big blessing to the people and thank you for volunteering your time. Such a blessing, such a blessing.

I Got The Scoop On The Kroger Remodel, Want To Know?

Well, I took a drive today and went past the Kroger's. I saw a few contractors outside the store and inquired about the store remodel. Yep, according to them it is true. A store remodel is taking place. I was a little skeptical and said oh, they probably did not do the floors in the remodel. Guess what. He was the contractor actually replacing or laying down the new floors. He said the whole store was remodeled and it will look different when they open up after the remodel. Let's see.

I made a new batch of pimento cheese and distributed it to a few neighbors along with garlic/chive pita crackers. I also thawed out from the freezer Trader Joe Kringle and delivered it. Another neighbor I stopped by to see and get an update on their life. I think I will bake and bring some to them next weekend hopefully. I have a Croatian recipe cooking on the stove. Sauerkraut Goulash. It is made with pork. I haven't decided if I will make homemade dumplings to go with it when it is finished, or I suppose I could go get some gnocchi to add to it once it is finished. I cut up some fresh fruit and put it in the refrigerator. I also set aside pimento cheese to take to work with crackers and I have a few snack size bags of Utz chips also. I visited with another neighbor and another neighbor asked me to pray for them, and I did right there on the front stoop by their front door. I like to try and pray right then and there when someone asks me to pray for them.

That is my update and just maybe I will go sit outside for a little bit and continue reading my "Melania" book. It is a very interesting book about her life. I can't help thinking from time to time that when she was on family vacations in Croatia or the Adriatic coast, if some of my family members could have been there at the same time.

Beginning Of February & I Just Saw Approx 11-12 Sky Divers Gliding In The Sky. Then 1 By Themself In Another Part Of The Sky.

It was warm enough to put on a sweater and enjoy breakfast on my back porch this morning. I noticed 2 small planes in the sky, so I thought to myself I wonder if people are out and about enjoying sky diving.  Sure enough as I was sitting on the porch trying to plan in my mind where I am going to place my new motion type of spinner yard ornaments sure enough, there they are in the sky. Gliding down. I then got up from my seat and as I was heading back inside there was off in the left direction of where the main group was a single sky diver just gracefully gliding down in the sky.

This is causing me to ponder on why it seems sometimes I am the single one, the loner crying out for justice where injustice is being allowed to take place. It could be the cause of fixing up a local grocery store, observing uneven treatment of certain leaders in the body of Christ, or being a voice for the voiceless or those that want to speak out but just can't for 1 reason or another. Meaning some act almost like God in judgement of other fallen leaders within the church and they pick and choose who they will not go against and question their actions as opposed to speaking out against others that they want to use and display as an example. In some instances, not gathering all the facts and just choosing to take 1 side over the other. Why are not these big-time church leaders, prophets, apostles, etc. being called out. I still keep praying Lord please have them repent and if not, then expose the evidence. Well, with seeing what is being exposed in the church/ministry today the prayer just may have some credence to it after all. Would you agree.

I find it very hard to believe if Holy Spirit placed it on my heart to send warnings to a ministry, then did, He not also send others to them too. I am not naive enough to think that perhaps I was the only one. I am just a woman that loves Jesus, reads my bible and studies the word of God (meaning scriptures in the bible) and am sensitive to Holy Spirit moving in my life. No big platform. No followers in reference to my blog that I have been faithful to write since I believe it was 2009. I write about hurts and also triumphs in my life and the life of my family. I like to call them sometimes my Holy Spirit adventures we go on together. When there was controversy with the Global Fire church split, I obeyed Holy Spirit leading to in the same week attend both the old location under the leadership of Jeff's wife at the time and also the small location at the time in which Jeff Jansen was leading. I am going to be honest with you all. I did not feel the anointing/presence of Holy Spirit in the old church location but very much so sensed it in Jeff's small location. Remember, I had not been an active attender to Global Fire Church for a bit at the time when they were pre-split days.

Why is that. I was going about just minding my own business and Holy spirit nudged me to attend both churches in the same week. One was on a Wednesday night the other a Sunday morning. I saw a humbled man in Jeff, I truly did. I know we all have our short comings in life but when one has a true heart repentance it can humble one. Even when I used to attend Global Fire, I steered clear of having conversations after the service with Jeff because he sort of had an aggressive personality and I didn't want to deal with that. The end days he had a softened personality in which I found ease in approaching him after a church service to briefly converse with him. Please notate that I did not attend his services on a weekly basis, just a handful did I attend.

I remember attending his celebration of life service and there was no denial that the presence of God was in that church during that service. Why does Holy Spirit have me fight for underdogs. That seems to be the case. Well, in his situation maybe it is because he is not here since he died to stand up and defend his cause and his name also. People, I am telling you that I have spoken to several people that can honestly state that no Jerry Bryant reached out to them to hear all sides of this church split. Allegedly Jerry Bryant was the overseer of this internal investigation and sided with Jeff's wife without researching the full set of facts. Can someone please open up another investigation and this time let all sides be heard. This is a simple request and how hard is it the do. Goodness gracious, I was able to ask questions and get answers and I am not even an investigator per say. Can you see why I am crying out for our government to create a DOMA Department of Ministry Abuse. If so-called ministries listed as status 501c3 are not doing things correctly, then revoke their non-profit charity status and strip them of all the benefits that go along with it. Better yet, make them accountable to pay back taxes for the perks they enjoyed as a 501c3 organization. Money talks and I would feel pretty confident in guessing they just might clean up their acts when the word money owed back would be speaking forth loud and clear. Uh oh, there I go again speaking out loud.

I would guess if something like that was in place just maybe these ministries might clean up their acts and clean up the church. You know, begging for money or else the ministry will have to close their doors. Then after the donations come in you see ministers travelling to DC inauguration galas. Not dressed as paupers either but dressed up in their finest attire, dapper dan type of attire for the older folks out there that would get that phrase. Oh yes, they love to travel. Maybe some do home improvement projects or purchase vehicles. Mind you, all in the name of Jesus. How will you be able to stand before God Almighty one day and account for spending God's people's hard-earned money by donations made to your ministry. Please repent while there is still time or just maybe your ministry may be next on the list to be exposed. I am speaking out/pleading with the ministries this just may apply to.

Oh my goodness, today is definitely an active sky diving day in my area. You know, if they are brave enough to jump out of a plane then let them enjoy the view as they head back down to the ground in their journey.

What Is Going On, 1st Big Lots Is Closing, Now Bargain Hunt Too!!!

What in the world is going on now. First the news that Big Lots is closing and then yesterday I went shopping to Bargain Hunt and apparently, they are closing their stores now. Can anyone give a sound explanation about this. I shopped Bargain Hunt in the days when they didn't necessarily have decluttered/organized stores and you could really find a bargain back then. If you rummaged around a bit you just may have found a true hidden treasure gem/value (like Papyrus brand boxed cards). Then they cleaned up the stores and made them organized and the true treasure hunting for really good deals sort of went to the wayside, they really did. This used to be the sort of store that would purchase buyouts from the likes of a well know home television shopping network. You have to know good quality, name brands, and pricing of items to really know if you were getting a true deal. You know sort of like getting a deal of the century so to speak.

I remember when they would get bins and bins of candy after a holiday season, and it was not expired best by dates and name brands you would know. When that happened, I would be buying quality candy sometimes for 1.00 or even less if they wanted to clear it out and everyone was getting candy from me. I would bring it into work to share with my co-workers. Then there was the time Joy Mangano must have re-designed her huggable hangers and then there were literally bins filled with her hangers. I was very good at finding color coordinated hangers and even the color coordinated hanger handles, and it seemed like everyone was getting huggable hangers as gifts then. That is how I increased the supply I have now through the lovely Bargain Hunt buyout,

Hey, Bargain Hunt hang in there. I recently saw that HSN will no longer be at 1 of its locations. Is it possible if they were to do a downsizing sale off somehow you all could purchase it then go back to having a well-known shopping network buyout sale? Just a thought that came to me.

Oh, I went yesterday to purchase a few items from Kroger's to make Mrs. Carters Pimento Cheese recipe again and discovered the Kroger near me is being remodeled. Do not know what it will look like until I shop there when it opens again. I went to another Kroger, and they gave me the scoop when I asked an employee while searching for pimentos if they knew anything about the remodel. Just that it was scheduled to open back up yesterday, but it was detained. Hum, I wonder if not only my calling corporate office and then follow-up emails may have been done by other customers also requesting this store be updated. I will keep you posted if it looks improved or not. I felt sorry for the employees working there. One day as I was checking out and telling them how I called corporate to request a store remodel they shared with me how when it rains the store roof leaks in several places in the store. That should never be, honestly.  Oh, can you please bring the Duroc brand of pork back into this store location. I always have to go to another Kroger store to purchase it.

Wow, as I was watching this recently uploaded video, I found myself crying. Oddly enough, 2 times prior to this morning I attempted to watch it last night but both times I fell asleep, so I never really did view it until this morning. Oh my goodness it began to flood feelings I experienced when my own father died and it was my sister, and brother-in-law seated in the attorney's office when he read the will to us. We were in utter shock. I was in the hospital room when my father decided to no longer go the route of treatments and be moved across the street to the hospice house. He knew that if he did not do kidney dialysis, he would be dead within a few days' time. His attorney was in the room and asked him if "the will" was okay or did it need to be changed. I heard my father say to him the girls were taken care of. I heard those very words spoken by our father. My father was distraught from the passing of his oldest son, our brother a year prior. My dad didn't even change his will in that period of time, and it still reflected our brother's name listed in the will as if he was still living.

Imagine, down the road a conference table filled with attorney's representing the various Catholic organizations were there to depose me and my sister was deposed another time because we were contesting our father's will. They were trying to say that I was listed so low in our fathers will to receive anything from his estate because I was no longer a practicing Catholic. Well, guess what. One of the attorneys tried to make the point that my father had a change of his heart and will when I became born again and no longer a practicing Catholic. In that moment Holy Spirit gave me the very words of truth spoken that seemed to refute that line of thinking. I replied I became born again while I was still a Catholic. It is amazing how Holy Spirit will use words spoken to your heart and even a woman can confound the words of a table filled with attorneys.

The very thing they were fighting against was the very thing Holy Spirit used me to lead my staunch Catholic father that was even at 1 time an altar assistant/server during the mass at the Cleveland Cathedral downtown under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Pilla. I was drawn away from the Catholic church to a church that taught the bible and evangelism. I took Evangelism Explosion and 3 weeks before my father died I led him to Jesus. It was on the exact 1-year anniversary of the brother I mentioned dropped dead on a sidewalk just down the street from the hospital my father was in and having a procedure that very day. It was an eerie feeling going past the location where my brother died on the way to the hospital to see my dad. He had a procedure to install a portal/stint or whatever you call it to then be able to do dialysis in his arm. I was there when he came out of the procedure and I told him I loved him, and Jesus loved him too. My father had a domineering type of personality, and you never knew when he could raise his voice. So, with that knowledge I am sitting there beside him in a chair with my bible and I begin to sense Holy Spirit nudging me this is the time to share the plan of salvation with him and I thought to myself uh oh what if dad gets upset with me. The opposite happened. After telling him what I said he then said find me Jesus. That's when Holy Spirit was nudging me to extend the invite and lead him to Jesus. I said what Holy Spirit had me say. For those 3 weeks leading up to his death he would say I hope Kimberly is right about Jesus. I would re-assure him that it is not what I say but the bible says whosoever shall call upon the name of Jesus will be saved.

You know all this stuff; I have shared this on my blog before. Yes, even a staunch practicing Catholic can turn their heart to Jesus. When I look back my father did try to give money he had away to Catholic type or organizations. I recall even my former husband sharing with me that he was at my father's home 1 day and some hippie looking priest came there and my father handed him cash. 

Sometimes when visiting with my father at the hospital I would feel bad that he went to have that procedure done and he never even used it, and it caused bruising on his arm. When I would feel bad that he had to endure all of that I would then be comforted with the fact that if he never had that procedure done that day maybe there may have not been the opportunity to share the invitation to invite Jesus into your heart. I believe that day was 9/14 and he went to be with Jesus 10/3. Yes, even just days before facing death there is still hope to invite Jesus into your heart and forgive your sins and wash you white as snow because He chose to die that cruel and painful death on a cross so you could be in heaven with Him for all eternity. If your heart is being tugged at now by reading this blog, then take a moment to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and let the blood of Jesus that was shed on that cross cleanse you and then invite Jesus into your heart. May I suggest another step after you've taken that step. Go and share with someone that you gave your heart to Jesus. Oh, a great piece of advice that was given to me years ago by a Catholic priest that was a spiritual advisor to me the Catholic church sent me to advise me to start reading the bible. Start in the New Testament and even though you may want to read more than 1 chapter a day don't, just absorb what you are taking in by reading 1 chapter a day. He said in doing so I would get to know Jesus. Oh yes, Welcome to the family of God and we will meet in heaven one glorious day, hallelujah.
