I know it was a miraculous move of God to get me to TN. I know it was a miracle that I found the community in which I reside in. I know both of these facts and yet I still wonder why I am living in this region, really. Where I lived in Ohio I was literally a short drive to 2 different areas where I could sit by the lake. Even in the midst of a rain or snow storm I could sit in my car and view it. I could walk out my front door and down the road to the country fields and see the eagles there to, all on a walk. So, why am I here God why am I here? I truly need a sign so strong and evident to show me my purpose and destiny if it be in this region.
Yes, I met some lovely people here I do not deny that. I have attended some awesome conferences in this region too. The weather temperament is softer to then the lake effect snow storms. On a day like today I wake up and search to find a local lake to drive to, even a location to observe eagles and it seems to be such a chore it really does. Lord You have given me the dreams, yes I have many that you have given to me but now I request a sign so strong & evident that I know that I know that I know You want me to stay here & why I must stay here and not leave this region ok.
See, this is me crying out to the Lord because I am a bit frustrated with things going on in my hidden gem place of residence. Good neighbors moved out and now I have to deal with the leasing office so thrilled that they are a property that has no pet (dog) breed or weight restrictions living here. Well, I came across some paperwork I have in which it states no dogs weighing 50 pounds or more are to live on the 2nd or 3rd flor. Then how did a couple with an 80 pound dog get approved to live there? Good question isn't it. So this young couple I find out has outbursts of anger. Slamming doors, stomping loudly and then the raised words of anger come out. At times I can actually hear what they are shouting/fighting about "I don't know how to do that, just leave then" Those are a few as example. My real concern is I don't want to see someone in that apartment get hurt by the other. There really is anger up there. It was so loud the other night I for the first time during one of their fights went upstairs to knock on their door. They did not answer the door and it did quiet down after that but I was willing to tell them to settle down or I would call the police. This is not everyday living noises one expects when living in an apartment.
I introduced myself and brought them cookies to welcome them to ,our building when they moved in. I saw their dog and it was large so in curiosity I asked how much it weighed, 80 pounds they told me. Wow, that is a big dog do you agree. I telework so I went up 1 day to let them know I am home during the day and it does not bother me when they throw the toy/ball and the dog runs after it during regular hours but please not during quiet hours please. They were very good at that until the fighting began, I reported it a few times to the leasing office and they must have approached them on it because the other night it was 10:44PM and well into after 11:00PM they kept throwing the toy/ball and the dog was chasing after it. The dog really is quiet I do not hear it barking. It is the dog behind me that does the barking. Oh my gosh whenever I open or close my entrance door when it is home there goes the mean barking. It is such an aggressive dog that 1 day I was leaving my apartment and the one owner had it on a leash and it was growling at me with fangs showing and looked like it wanted to attack me as the owner held it back as it was trying to lunge at me. They said it is a nice dog I said that's ok I will walk the other way to my car.
How much worse could it be thank God my former neighbor allowed me to anoint the walls with anointing oil representing the blood of Jesus before the new people moved in. A friend of mine says I should move to a townhouse for less noises to deal with. I think I should be living back in a house now but last year nothing presented itself to me when I was searching. The only place was where I reside now? I really do like it here and the view I have too. I learned to adapt to pool party type of noise and little insects here & there living on the ground floor. My garden grows on the patio and I do enjoy the hummingbirds when they are in the area. WHEN GOD WHEN WILL YOU SHOW ME A CLEAR AS CAN BE SIGN THAT I AM IN YOUR PERFECT WILL/DESTINY FOR MY LIFE, WHEN?
I do miss not being able to put out bird feeders at this location, prohibited but hummingbird feeders are allowed but large, aggressive dogs are permitted. Makes no sense to me. I still see birds flying in this area though maybe someone else is feeding them. I just went through a couple of months this past summer of trying to find a place with 3 bedrooms for my mom to potentially move in with me. Did not work out to be that so my sister & brother-in-law found her a lovely independent living community. It truly is nice. She actually moved into her apartment on Friday as her first day. You know it is like living at a hotel or resort. The property manager brought her a welcome bouquet of flowers her first day there. The maintenance people are most attentive and she even needed help with getting a signal for her tv the other evening and someone from the front desk came up to assist her.
She is on the top floor and has such a lovely view of the courtyard. She went to dinner last night and apparently the residents like to eat earlier so there were not that many residents there eating. She did not want to sit at a table with a man she did not know so they told her to go sit by the piano and they would bring her her dinner there. I think pork was the main entrée but she didn't want that to eat so they brought her the menu, she chose filet mignon. She said the butternut squash soup was delicious and asked if she could take another cup with her back to her apartment, they let her. So, the dessert of the day must have run out and they brought her to her apartment a triple berry pie slice with ice cream too. My package I sent to her was delivered yesterday and the front desk was going to bring it up to her that evening. Only downside is she loves breakfast as her favorite meal of the day and the only day where it is a hot breakfast is Wednesdays and once a month a brunch menu. Other days it is continental style. My mother worked very hard all her life, mainly on commission based jobs to earn a good living to support her 4 children and send them all to Catholic grade school and Catholic high school too. Mom, it is now your time to let someone wait on you. Now, my sister & brother-in-law did that for her while she lived with them too but this is different now. Not relatives but she is a guest now where she resides and they treat her well. Before I left her apartment I anointed the walls for her for protection and the blood of Jesus. She has a smart Roku tv but still likes cable. Trying to convince her to use her Roku tv to stream free programming. I tried while I visited there but her Roku remote is not connected somehow to the tv. I was going to get her YouTube tv then she would search for Molly B's Polkas. When I called Molly B's they told me if she could get it there are 100 programs she would be able to view. So, the tech generation grandkids are coming to her apartment today to make sure all the tech stuff is set up just right for her. This community also has rooms a guest can rent if visiting someone but it is I think 130.00 per night but it is good to know that option does exist.
My lease is due for renewal and I have to decide do I want to renew for 12, 13 or 15 months. All the promo perks went away now. No 1 months free rent; no preferred employer 2% discount either. If you renew the perk is do you want your apartment professionally cleaned once or your bedroom carpets cleaned. When God When will You show me Why I am to still reside in this region, PLEASE, Your daughter is asking.
