How ironic that I have this experience prior to me reading the first chapter in the book, "The Lifestyle Of A Watchman" by James W. Goll. Abraham asked questions of God and also got responses.
I had to come back and add to this blog entry, I just saw the cutest thing. I was getting ready to iron clothes from the laundry and heard these birds singing outside. I gently said to them sing for Jesus sing for Jesus and then I said sing for God. I have not only a bird house feeder set up for the birds but I also have a hummingbird feeder also. For some reason this season there was little hummingbird activity. I think I maybe saw them twice and that is about it. I have an ant moat that sits above the hummingbird feeder to keep the ants from going to the hummingbird feeder. How it works, you fill it up with water and for the most part it does work. When in Atlanta the hummingbirds were active where I was staying they drank the hummingbird nectar from two feeders there. Ok back to the story about the birds. What I saw that was really cute, a bird perched itself on the ledge of the ant moat and began to drink the water inside the moat. So now I know the purpose of this ant moat for this season to give the birds a refreshing drink of water. I am faithful in filling up the water each time I water my plants outside.
For some reason even my cherry/grape tomatoes along with my Roma tomato plant did not produce like tomato plants did in prior years. Chives always do well for me. Did you know that if you leave the chives out in a planter through the Winter they will revive again in the Spring and continue to produce. I learned that many years ago by accident when leaving them out even in the cold climate I lived in back then. Parsley seems to be doing ok and dill I have found to be a bit finicky to grow but it is trying with my assistance. Every few weeks I add a few more dill seeds to the container to spring forth. Now, this is the first time I planted in a container eucalyptus and it is growing tremendous. Gardenia's did not produce like they have in the past years also along with my carnation plant. Do you think God is giving me a hint? My season is up in this geographic city location where I reside and He is about to move me? It appears to be the signs are all around me what do you think? I did harvest a few green peppers this season but oddly enough I did not buy a green pepper plant I bought a red pepper plant? Figure that one out? Let it rain, Let it rain, open the floodgates of heaven, let it rain.
