May I Share My Heart With You? A Mother Is Her Happiest When She Is Surrounded By Her Children. Only A Few More Days And I Will With My Children. Also Let Me Share My Music Choices For Today...
My heart is so filled with love and tears well up in my eyes as I write this. I have really good children, correction, young adult children that is. My former husband and I did really well at raising our children. Children still can turn out great even if it happens in your life that there is a divorce. That cannot take away the love that each parent has for their children. In just a few days one will be flying in and the other driving for a birthday weekend. So excited to see them together. Of course, there is a dish one of my children loves and that will be the staple extra meal I always make to just have there for those that like it. Not everyone likes Tuna and Noodle Casserole but one does. I found a really good recipe on the back of Knorr's French Onion soup for a chicken dish. It has fresh mushrooms, baby spinach and grated Swiss cheese in it. Never made it before but I will try it. They both love when I make Lemon Dill Chicken or Dijon Chicken but not this time. I think wild rice will be nice with it. I have to go to the local farm stand to get fresh cucumbers to make a cucumber, green pepper (from my little pepper plant and my home grown chives too), tomato and onion vinaigrette salad. Very refreshing. I was going to make homemade bread but my mother reminded me that this time of the year with humidity the bread just does not rise like it should. She is right I have made bread in similar weather and it just does not rise like I like it to. Can not wait to get a great big bear hug from my daughter. As long as I can remember as a child growing up throughout the years she always has and continues to give me the best bear hug in the world.
This is the song I use to sing to them as babies, it went like this "Rocka rocka by and a lulla lullaby rocka by my baby oh rocka rocka by and a lulla lullaby rocka by my baby my baby my little, little dumpling oh yes, rocka rocka by and a lulla lullaby rocka by my baby."
Now, let me share the songs that touched my heart today. I am going to start with the one that brought tears to my eyes. Since my heart is filled with love as I think about my children this is the perfect time to share the song that brought tears to my eyes.
