Well, my bread baking was a success yesterday. Even though it was a humid day it still turned out OK. If you prayed a GREAT big thank you to you. Even though I had the air conditioning on I still tried to create an atmosphere conducive to baking bread. I turned on the oven to a low temperature and cracked open the oven door to let the warm air from the oven help let the dough rise and it worked. Now, I do the same thing in regard to the oven temperature helping bread rise even in the winter months. I also put plastic wrap over the bowl instead of using a cloth lightly draped over the bowl with the bread dough in it. Want to hear something a bit comical? I used my Kitchen Aid stand mixer with the bread dough hook to mix and knead the dough and I kept wondering why the mixer kept moving around while it was kneading the dough. After it was finished I realized I did not use the lock to keep the mixer in place I still had it in the position in which it unlocks the arm of the mixer to be able to lift up the mixer. Silly me, I guess I do not use this mixer enough or I will remember the next time I use it to lock it. I think that is good that one can laugh at silly things like that when they happen to you right.
I think I have shared with you I try not to eat bread with yeast in it. Well last night I thought I would have a piece of the bread at dinner since it was my grandmother's recipe and we were sitting down for a family meal. It just reminded me this morning that waking up with a slight headache probably was the outcome from eating yeast bread. Now I did take a picture of the bread after the proofing process then after they came out of the oven. Know that the little black specks are poppy seeds I sprinkled on top of the bread. This bread was truly baked with love for my children to enjoy. I am enjoying the time I am spending with my children and it just reminds me how precious they are to me. The bread recipe is a braided egg bread.

| After baking, it has a bit of a shiny glisten to it because you brush it with a beaten egg before baking it. When it comes out of the oven while it is still hot I let butter melt on the top of the loaf of bread. |
