A Church Alive Is Well Worth The Drive

I was extremely blessed to worship in a church that is alive. The preaching comes forth from the bible. The worship is fantastic and the presence of God is there. It has been quite a while that I recall during worship that the presence of the Lord fills a place and the worship touches my heart to the point that tears stream down my face. God is real, God is alive and you should invite Him to be a part of your life. If you are wondering what church has all of this, it is Free Chapel, Gainesville, GA. Pastor Jentezen Franklin preached a timely message on the anointing. Children at the close of the service were anointed with anointing oil and teachers also. That was the moment that we were worshiping as the children went past the leadership that laid hands upon them with oil and that is when the tears began to flow.
Imagine this, a church that still does altar calls. I learned something from listening to the song "100 Billion X." When there was an altar call I would always say to the Holy Spirit silently "A million thanks for the salvations" but now I try to say 100 billion thanks for salvations. On the way to church I listened to the song by James W Goll and Julie Meyers I think it is called "Do You See Me Then."
There was a surprise tucked away in the church bookstore just waiting for me. Remember when I shared the song by Jeannie Tenney, One Night With The King? I showed you a picture of the pre-release CD, well, they had the same CD but this time it was not titled as pre-release.
Oh, one last thing, Pastor Franklin prayed over the children three things and when he was done praying with them he then told the congregation that he was going to pray that over us. Wisdom, Favor and a Fresh Anointing. The gospel is not complicated and he preaches the simple truth of the gospel message. Too bad he didn't play the saxophone, there is a rich anointing when he plays that during a service. Thank you Pastor Franklin for preaching truth, the anointing and just being who you are and called to be to bring forth the word of God. Blessings to you, your family and ministry team including your worship team also.
