I was at a church recently in which their bookstore has an abundance of Derek Prince books available for purchase. Months ago I was at this same bookstore in search of the book by Derek Prince, "God is a Matchmaker." At that time they did not have any copies of that book and I was telling the person at the counter that I was in search of this book. Well, guess what? Now I was able to see they had several copies of it for sale. So I am looking at the selection of books now looking for the book with the story of Derek's first wife, Lydia and there is no copy of that book. Low and behold I find the marriage covenant book. I purchase it and I am coming to find out that this book was written after Lydia died and Derek is just about to marry Ruth. I know you may say to yourself isn't that backwards? You already read about his marriage story to both Lydia & Ruth and now you are back to a period of time in his life where he is just about to wed Ruth? Absolutely not is my response to you. God knows the time of timing in my life and I am perfectly fine with that.
Know what is interesting though. I was not in this chapter of the book yet that I just read this morning. I heard Holy Spirit say go to page 59. So I look in the book and where page 59 should be marked all I see is the marker page for chapter three "Union between Man and Woman." I know what Holy Spirit is speaking to me, read this chapter today and I obliged Him. I felt led to mark off two sections in which I will share with you if I may today. The pages I took pictures of all come out of the book by Derek Prince, "Marriage Covenant The Biblical Secret for a Love That Lasts." If you are married or not at this time, this is great wisdom you can glean from. I did and I trust it will be a blessing to you in your life.
