Awesome Mother's Day Today

My son picked me up this morning and we went to church together. Free Chapel had a beautiful section set up if you wanted to take a picture. We took a selfie picture prior to entering the sanctuary. I will share a picture with you. Then we went and did a bit of shopping @ Bargain Hunt. We do enjoy shopping together. Our initial plan was to go to the NGA Premium Outlet Mall, but it was raining so I suggested Bargain Hunt. We found some great things there. When we were checking out, he surprised me with another Mother's Day gift (for he already gave me my gift on the way to church.) He paid for my indoor, smokeless grill/griddle.
Oh, most important. As I and another lady were waiting for our children to go and get their cars to pick us up, we struck up a conversation. You know sharing our testimonies. One thing led to another, and I shared about me having a blog. My son reminded me that I started to blog before it was really popular as I joked about how I really am not a technical person and how I started a blog. I shared with her about the Dalton, GA anointing oil and I gave her a vial of the anointing oil. She seemed to really be attentive while we were sharing our testimonies but got a little bit apprehensive when I shared about the anointing oil. I was most respectful, and I told her I understood that she may have to research the anointing oil. I told her where to research the anointing oil flowing from a bible in Dalton, GA. I did not push her into taking the vial of oil she accepted it. Holy Spirit knows when the timing is right in her life in reference to the anointing oil.
We had a wonderful family dinner and then it was cake time. I made the strawberry cake and my sister shared with me her version of the strawberry cake, so I am going to try and make it with her frosting recipe she has. Her frosting recipe actually has cream cheese in it and it makes it a bit fluffier. They really do like this cake. So much so that I guess I will be making it for my mother's birthday. We put a dinosaur candle in the cake and then sang Happy birthday to my son. This trip has been wonderful and yes, the earrings matched perfect with the top I wore today. God is good, God is great, God is faithful. We also talked with my daughter today and all is well, all is well. I am highly favored and blessed beyond measure for I have wonderful children. Yes, I do and I do not just say this I mean it and they truly are. They are both advancing in their jobs. My daughter was telling us how her bunnies are trying to get used to their new apartment and the one bunny is pretty smart, it got out of its cage somehow. It took about a half hour trying to get Bun Bun and finally did. I said better her than me. Both of my children also have a great sense of humor and when one asks for prayer, they will both pray. See what I mean, I am blessed. Yes of course, their father is also blessed for they are our children. Well, my family knows how I pray when asked to pray before the meal and I was given the opportunity today. I let Holy Spirit pray through me. We also shared a bit today about going to heaven with what I heard the other day while listening to Kat Kerr. Can you see why I said it was an awesome Mother's Day today.
Maybe I will bake this cake and take it to work for my co-workers to try with the new frosting recipe. Isn't the dinosaur candle funny?
One more thought...I am blessed to still have my mother with us. There are family and friends that their mother is no longer with them, and my heart goes out to them for their loss. Their heart will always keep memories tucked in their heart for them to draw upon with fondness. May their hearts have peace this very moment.
