There Is No Way You Can Convince Me That This Evening Was Not A God Encounter Set Up. I Listened To The Directors Of Derek Prince Israel Share Their Testimony.

This is my Holy Spirit adventure today 5/19/19. I received a text message from a friend of mine that the Directors of Derek Prince Israel will be speaking in the evening today. I was heading to marketplace ministry and said I would join them this evening. Marketplace ministry was pleasant today. I spoke with a 94 year old gentleman today that told me a bit of his story. He told me that he tells his doctor that he will live until 120 years old. He then tells me that his doctor responded that the doctor will not be around to take care of him if he lives that long. I do believe he is light hearted when he tells this story to me. He told me the same story weeks ago when I spoke with him.
This is a great story to share with you. I was talking with a customer and commented how I liked her dress. I am telling you that everyone has a story to share if you give them the opportunity to speak and share it, you will be blessed. I come to find out it was a dress she sewed in home economics class in high school. This is a woman that may be my age or a bit younger. They found this dress and decided to try it on and it still fits from high school days to current now. I was so impressed with that story it touched my heart. With not knowing the story behind it I complimented her on how I liked the dress she was wearing. Imagine that...a dress made years prior that still fits as if you were the size you were in high school. What a great accomplishment.
I meet a few friends at church this evening and we listened to the testimony of this couple. The wife actually knew Lydia Prince and Derek also. This very woman was the woman a few years ago that took my name with her to Israel and placed it in the wailing wall. So I am waiting for my friends after the service and who do I see heading out of the church after the service. The couple and I felt led to approach her and share with her my brief story. I reminded her of the time she took my name to Israel and placed it in the wailing wall for me. I was then able to share how I recently found out I am 2% European Jewish. Do you see the hand of God in this story? I do. It is all about timing and that is God's time. She then tells me to share it with her husband so I share the story with him.
Prior years ago she took me per say to the wailing wall in Israel only to find out a few years later that I am actually a bit Jewish. That amazes me. Can you see the threads woven into the tapestry of my very life. Do you get the connection.
My friends and I go out to dinner afterward and I love how we share our stories. I shared a bit about a conference I was at last week and I think maybe we should continue and start up bible study at this time. I feel led to say yes we should but this time we should conduct it on prayer. Meaning we should gather again but spend an hour in prayer as the gathering. I then said there is a new book out there called "Strike The Mark." I purchased it and maybe it can be used in this new gathering. So we are sharing outside the restaurant as we are about to leave and then I ask if they want some of the anointing oil from Dalton, GA? I felt led to pray over the vial of anointing oil and explained how I use the anointing oil. I happened to have a few pictures of the container that houses the bible that is bringing forth the anointing oil and shared them with them.
See how Holy Spirit sets up encounters for you? Just be obedient and have a willing heart to follow the lead. I could have said no to the invitation and if I would have done so look what I would have missed. I also purchased a book by Derek Prince in the bookstore. I have a few new books now how will I ever find the time to read them? I will and it is in God's timing also.
