Am I A Proverbs 31 Woman? I Am, Here Is The Proof. Part Of A Mother's Day Gift From My Sister To Me.

My mother and my sister exchanged  Mother's Day gifts last evening. Want to hear something funny? I know my sister likes "Point of Grace." So I purchased for her a cd of theirs as part of her gift. She tells me I got her that very same cd for another occasion. Oh my so I told her I have a great collection of cd's in my car. I asked her if she likes Francesca Battistelli and she responds yes to me. I told her that there was a song that I had on repeat playing on my journey yesterday so I will bless her with the cd, "Own It." Silly me what was I thinking???
As part of my gift she presented me with a pair of earrings. I knew right away when I saw the scripture verse on the card that the earrings were displayed on that it was the scripture about the Proverbs 31 woman.  Not only that, they match perfect with  the outfit I brought to wear today on Mother's Day. I told you and I cannot express it any more clearer or louder that Holy Spirit adventures are great, fun and so innovative. She did not know what I was bringing to wear today she just selected a pair of earrings for me. She told me that her daughter wanted her to get a wilder, bigger pair of earrings for me and she said not that was too big in size for me. See the wisdom that comes forth from my sister? She is blessed and a highly favored woman of God. I often joke with my sister and brother-in-law about how I love staying at their bed-n-breakfast when I come for a visit. They do not actually own one they are just so hospitable and welcoming to me.
So, let's explore what the scripture verse says that was on the card ok. Proverbs 31: 21-26:
"When it snows, she has no fear for her household; for all of them are clothed in scarlet. She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple. Her husband is respected at the city gate, where he takes his seat among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies the merchants with sashes. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."
Well what do you think?
Guess what I am not perfect. You know one of my pet peeves is misspelled words, misused words and I myself am guilty of that very thing. I sent an email and I used the word "excellency" when I was thinking excellence. So after it was sent I did a word search for "excellency." The definition states "a title given to certain high officials of state, especially ambassadors, or of the Roman Catholic Church, or used in addressing them." Now wait maybe it wasn't too bad of a blunder because right below that definition it gives the archaic definition, "an outstanding feature or quality."
Ok let's see the wonders of Holy Spirit as I still am on the adventure. What will bring forth today? I live a life of expectancy and am always amazed with awe and wonder of His goodness, love and grace. Happy Mother's Day to all you Proverbs 31 women out there.

One final thought...I should probably send an email acknowledging my error of word used what do you think?
