I received a call from my daughter today and she told me there was she thought a knock at her door on Saturday and then when she looked later she saw 6 boxes of her favorite cereal , Count Chocula with a birthday card. That is a seasonal cereal and you cannot get it throughout the year. She said it would last her until next Halloween time. Isn't that funny how like minds think alike. We talked on Saturday on my little journey for the day. I told her I would see what they had at the candy store I was heading to and if there was anything good she would be getting a package in the mail. There were good treats I found for her and I did place a package in the mail. We were thinking alike. I gave her my daughter's address and then I suggested if she was going to be heading in that direction to possibly just drop it off and save on postage.
This is kindness to the highest degree. Way before we conversed she already found and bought the Count Chocula cereal for my daughter. If you have a dear friend like this that is part of your life I am telling you to cherish that friendship. Those are the God ordained friendships rich in blessing. Do you laugh with your friend, I do. Can you share serious moments in your life with your friend we do. Can we laugh again some more we do. Friendship is just as rich as golden nuggets of gold so to speak. You would not throw around a pure piece of gold and treat it as a trash item would you? No you would not, you cherish fine items like that. The same with a true and genuine friendship, cherish it and never take it for granted.
