I Had An Awesome Day Yesterday. It Started Very Early With Reading "The Lifestyle Of A Watchman" By James W. Goll

Yesterday was a day of refreshing for me. Started off very early with reading then I did the first load of laundry at 7AM proceeded by two other loads of laundry. Ran to the post office to send a package and my seven cards. Next stop...travel about 30 miles or so away from the city lights so to speak. I wrote about this before. For me going into big metropolitan cities sort of zaps me and I always find an unrest after the visit. I feel my body/spirit urging me to go away from the city lights to refresh and regroup if that makes sense. Now, it may not work like that for you but it does for me. Regardless, I went and I came back refreshed. I always play music on this journey. Yesterday the CD that nourished me was Never Alone by James W. Goll. I was on a mission to purchase a few things needed to send a package out when the items needed for the package would be delivered to me. This is so God. I go and gather what is needed, I get refreshed and when I arrive home guess what is waiting for me in the mail? Yes, the rest of the items needed to send out the package. I try to tell you by personal example all the time that God is faithful. What is funny is the tracking info said I should receive in the mail by Tuesday. Well, it was Saturday and that then allowed me to  put together the package and even get it to the postal station yesterday. See, it is always God's timing and He knew the very time that package needed to go out in the mail.
Actually there were two packages that went out yesterday. In faith I already composed the thank you note and addressed that envelope just waiting on the few more items that I got on my mini journey to add to that package too. One was going to my very good friend from college as a thank you to the birthday gifts she sent to me. She is the friend that wrote to me 60 reasons I love my dear friend (my name.) We laugh so much when we talk on the phone. Oddly enough we had the opportunity to talk yesterday on my journey heading to my destination. Well, I missed a pertinent piece of info that I only found out yesterday. She is expecting her third grandchild shortly. She then remembered when I told her once that one of my children likes Count Chocula cereal. Know that this is a seasonal item and she went and bought 6 boxes of this cereal for my child and wanted their address so she could send them in the mail. This is the kind of friendship we have, we just connect. If I would have never attended and graduated from the university I went to we would have never met. She know my story because I have shared it with her throughout the years and she with me. Here are a few of the 60 reason's she wrote:
*you rejoice when good things happen in your friends lives
*you love to compliment others
*you know how to tell a good story
*you speak the truth
*you enjoy reading and learning new things
*you love blessing others you are good at forgiving and moving on
*you were so good to those kids at (name of the Catholic grade school my children attended at the time) you stood up for them (let me clarify this, I stood up for children that attended this school that were not even my children)
*we can laugh together about anything
*you take care of the birds
*you are always so happy
*you appreciate music
This is a small example of the rich friendship we have.
My voice was raspy yesterday as I am getting over this summer cold . Even with a raspy voice I was listening to the CD heading back home and a few shouts of "glory" came out of this woman of God. I thought to myself not as powerful of a shout when my voice is in top shape but never the less the shout came forth. I tried to jot down which verse triggered the shout. Not the easiest to read my notes but it came forth on "such joy and happiness" and I think I jotted down this "you're my light that shines in the night."
One more thought. let me share with you the song that touched me the most when I attended the event in the major metropolitan city, "Breathe."
The greatest testimony in my life this past year I am going to share with you now. Remember this above anything else WHERE GOD GUIDES HE PROVIDES. I left a position and accepted another position which was closer to my home. I took approximately a $6,000.00 cut in salary to accept this position and God was faithful to me throughout this entire year. That is faith, trust me when I tell you this THAT IS CRAZY FAITH. He guided me and He also provided for me throughout this entire past year. You see, it is His money so when He calls you to bless another person step out in faith for He surely will take care of you. After the year anniversary I am due for a pay increase at this current position and I will now only be approximately $2,000.00 shy of the money I was making at my former position. What I am trying to share with you all is that He provides when you feel His unction (green light) to move when He calls you to move. I feel this same unction now in regard to moving from my physical location where I reside to another location. Let's see what He does in this move. Living with Jesus is such an exciting life why would you not want to trust in Him?
