I love to worship and praise the Lord. Tonight was no exception. Of course, the rain stick and my little percussion shaker instruments were with me. I told the lady next to me the one song sounded familiar and I thought it was a song Kari Jobe and her husband recently did a debut of it. All I remember were the words that were repeated several times "over the earth over the earth over the earth." The lady said to me that they will put at the bottom of the screen who the artist is and sure enough Cody Carnes and another person wrote this song. So that was plus number one. Then we go into a more fun segment of worship a song about joy. I do not know the name of it but I really like it and I really do have more liberty and freedom when this song is a part of worship/praise. Then Pastor said everyone do something a little bit different then you normally do so we switched opposite sides  of the church from where we were seated when we came into church. Fine with me I do believe I now had an ever better seat then where I was seated.
I am telling you this, when I am in worship yes I am there with the congregation but I am also with Jesus too. I go into this realm with Holy Spirit and we create music is the only way I can describe this. So the praise and worship team start a new beat that I pick up on and it agrees with my spirit and I begin to use the small shaker instruments to the beat of the music being played. Then the most marvelous beat it almost reminded me or a reggae beat and then imagine this the song Somewhere Over The Rainbow to a reggae sort of beat it was awesome. I felt right at home, considering that is the song I tend to play in my car. You know the James W. Goll "Never Alone" CD in which this song is on it.
Do you think Holy Spirit is trying to tell me something? I do know so. Funny thing is I was not planning on going to church tonight. Until...Holy Spirit gave me the gentle nudge with gentle words go tonight and see something I want you to see. Well I believe it was to see that He cares for me and somehow Somewhere Over The Rainbow's musical beat began to play. When was the last time you heard that song sung in church? So do not close your heart and ears to Holy Spirit because He can and always does find a way to speak to you, if you only have the ears to listen and then acknowledge His love and concern for your very life, Church definitely moved tonight. I love moves of God like this. Do not put Holy Spirit in a box for He does not have liberty to flow when you try to confine Him. Let the earth be filled with the splendor and the glory of God. Let the light of Jesus that resides in you shine forth upon the people you interact with.
