Trying To Bring FUN In My Life ToThen Be Able To Bless Others, In The Process I Am Blessed Also.

F finding

That seems to have been my quest lately. Finding items that are fun and creative to work with. The end result is to bless others with your creativity. While creating I find that I tend to be blessed in the process. Holy Spirit is with me and works through me. I go on little adventures to seek out these items I will need in the future so to speak. I may be shopping somewhere and Holy Spirit prompts me "that is the right one." I tuck it away with my card making tools/items for "such a time as this." Then when it is time to create a card I look through my supplies and low and behold the perfect coordinating items are at my finger tips so to speak. Holy Spirit also knows that I am one that likes to seek out great deals, price point that is. He also knows that when the item is just right to buy it even if it is not on sale.
Example, I was making a birthday card for a relative and I had a rough draft in my mind the beginnings of making this card. I knew bird theme because they enjoy bird watching and they have a variety of bird houses in their yard. They even have a hummingbird feeder or two also. So I search out the color coordinated paper I will use and next seek bird themed embellishments to add to the creation. There were none to be found. I went to a few stores so I figured I must already have them in my stock. Sure enough, I did. I created the card and my project was now completed.
I then had another project to finish. This time I already found a Christian birthday card that I knew I could enhance it by adding embellishments to give it a 3d effect on the card. I then used the puffy pen to sign the inside of the card. That was fun. I must have to tell you that when I signed my name in cursive one point it seemed to blend in when the paint puffs up. I know my mom will enjoy that because I added my personal touch to her card. I then decorated the envelope of the card too. I do believe that sending cards and note cards to others is a trait I received from my mother. My sibling also inherited this trait too. This is a blessing trait to inherit, it truly is.
My mother will be 1 year shy of 90 years old this year and she still makes up care packages with items she either bakes or gets at the European grocery store that she knows friends/family will enjoy. She is the glue that holds everything together amongst family and friends. She keeps us all informed on family and friend happenings. She still keeps us connected with our family that reside in Croatia also. She sends out many cards throughout the year and she always has the perfect Catholic mass card when the occasion arises. She has a gift with writing words of encouragement to bless the recipient.
So, when I find nice postage stamps I then try to share them with her also. Even note cards I find too. In the picture you will see Frozen Treats Forever postage stamps. Now, this is a novel idea in theory. It is a scratch and sniff postage stamp. I would not have bought them if the postal employee did not point this out to me. That was great customer service, sharing product knowledge. I was at another post office and they never made mention of this feature. The postal employee told me it smelled like an orange pixie stick. I do not smell orange scent but it is a pleasant scent. It almost reminds me of the scent of raspberry jello. The only problem with this concept. If you are not the person that purchased the stamps you would not know it is a scratch and sniff stamp (that is the receiver of the mail.) Enjoy your day today.
