A Picture To Further Explain The Story I Shared About The Blue Topaz Ring/Stone I Lost.

I shared with you a bit ago how I lost a blue topaz ring that went down a drain years ago. It was the gem stone that was loose and that is what went down the drain. It was pear shaped and look at the color of the water in the picture. I think the jeweler was somewhere in proximity to where this picture was taken. I bought the ring because the color of the topaz looked very close in color to the color of the water. When I would wear that ring it made me happy. I would catch myself looking at that topaz and because the color was a happy color it made me happy too. There was a season in my life that I liked blue. I think it is calming/soothing and I had my living room and dining room painted in a softer shade of blue with a complimentary blue hue used for the trim. It was done tasteful. What is it about the color blue?

There was a season in my life that Holy Spirit taught me about seeking Him passionately.  I would let Holy Spirit guide me in all phases of making a banner. It all started with the initial drawing with Holy Spirit inspiration. Then I would shop and gather the materials needed for the creation of the banner. I remember once when I was creating a banner and I was in the craft/fabric store and I wanted to get a less expensive items and Holy Spirit checked my spirit. I was having this silent conversation as to why did I have to get the more expensive item. Well, I learned my lesson and purchased the more expensive item. Holy Spirit gently said to me that it was His money and I did not argue. He leads, He guides and also provides. I saw a church sign a few years ago and it said "Where God guides He provides." You know Holy Spirit can use tools just like that to speak to you if you are open to listen. That sign was when I was trying to decide on a place to move to and I made a wrong turn when I was driving and bam, there was the sign and I knew in that moment to move to the location I was questioning.
The blue banner that hangs from a piece of driftwood (I searched for the right piece of driftwood at a local beach) was the banner I hung in my Father's hospice house room the last few days of his life. He was faced with a decision in which he knew that if he went from the hospital to the hospice house that he was only going to live a matter of days. He went there on a Thursday and he went to be home with the Lord early Sunday morning. I led him to Jesus three weeks before he died. The banner also was placed on the altar by the podium at his Catholic funeral mass. When I created that particular banner I had no clue that it would be used in that capacity. This particular banner was a true experience with hearing the Holy Spirit's direction in the creation. You see, I believe the original sketch had so many droplets of blood that were made of crushed velvet. I cut them out and fused them onto the banner with a hot iron. I would hang it up and look at it and then a few of them would gently fall off. I adhered them again and then the same thing happened again. I had that uh huh moment when Holy Spirit was teaching me to adapt to His creation. After all it was His banner. When I caught on the presence of God filled that place and if I recollect I began to cry because of His awesome creativity and presence.  I offered the banner to the hospice house but they could not accept it. I was told because it had the symbols of droplets of blood. So guess where it's final destination was...I gifted it to a church in England when a group was visiting our church. Now, that church made beautiful banners. Mine was pretty simple compared to the beauty of their banners.
Look at the Kid Crusaders banner now. If you notice the paper doll type of children in a circle are positioned around a center. Know what is in the center circle. I had to get proficient enough to draw the continents of Africa, Asia and South America. The reason being is Holy Spirit had me pray for these continents for a season in my life. In that season of my life when a preacher or missionary would be in the area and preaching I would plant a monetary offering as a symbol of faith since I never went to any of these continents.
The "Jesus lover of My Soul" banner was probably one of my favorites. I held that banner when I marched in The march for Jesus event. When I created this banner I kept playing the song, "Jesus Lover of My Soul." When I look back that worship song was instrumental in creating that particular banner. In closing I would have to admit I must like the color blue. I sure did use it in a variety of shades in the banners I created.
In my second closing, since I started off with the picture describing the color of the water let's end with a description. Taken from Dr. Barbie L. Breathitt's book,  "A to Z Dream Symbology Dictionary." The definition for BLUE WATER states "Represents the sea of humanity, evangelism of the nations to make disciples for Jesus, a very large revelatory or healing anointing; waves of revival."
Third closing, I do not think that I have any of these banners anymore. Just the heart memories of creating them. Also, if I remember correctly one of my children may have designed a banner.
Fourth closing, I do believe there is a prophetic meaning entwined in the creation of each banner.
