A Warning Of Caution About What You Display On Faceboof Via My Mother

Today's writing comes from an article my mother sent to me a few days ago. I am not sure where the article came from since my mother sent it to me I did not cut it out of a newspaper myself. Read it and it will cause you to think twice before you share your thoughts, opinions, and even pictures with others. An employer, potential client, teacher, potential employer, children, parents, etc. etc. etc. can have access to view this if you allow it. The list can go on and on and on. Would you invite a stranger into your home without knowing them or share personal details of your life with them? That is why there are tools you can use on Facebook to allow you to share how much or how little you would like with others. I believe you can select these options to share different things with others: everyone; friends of friends; only friends; and customize ( in customize you can select and list who it is visible to or who you would like to hide it from.)
The areas in which you can control these filters are:
personal info
birthday
religious & political views
family & relationship
education & work
photos & videos of me
photo albums
posts by me
allow friends to post on my wall
posts by friends
comments on posts
Facebook can be a good networking tool for you to connect with family, friends, acquaintances and business associates. Just use caution. You would use caution as to whom you invite into your home, this is no different. When you set your settings you allow whomever you select to know about you it is as though they are sitting in the living room right with you. Stay connected with the word of God and prayer. He truly is the one that sets people free and delivers them from the junk in their lives. 1John 2:10 states, "Those who love other believers live in the light. Nothing will destroy the faith of those who live in the light." The Amplified Bible states it like this in Proverbs 20:5 "Wisdom in my heart is like water in a deep well, I am a person of understanding and I draw it out."
