You never see an eagle soaring with geese do you? No, because geese cannot go where eagles can go. I truly enjoy observing the bald eagles when I walk. Lately, my focus seems to be on one eagle. When I was seeing two together for a period of time I now just seem to see one at a time. The other day as I was walking I saw one eagle swoop down low and I thought it was going to land in the field, surprise, it did not. It actually landed in a tree that was lower to the ground. You see my eyes have always been trained to look up when searching for the eagles and never did I think that they land in tree's lower to the ground. I guess that incident is to remind me to be ever watchful because it is the observant person that discovers much more than the one that chooses not to seek. You can liken it to your walk with the Lord. Are you seeking Him and not just the blessings He gives to you? Seek Him and in the course of your normal day He will make provision for you when you least expect it. Then, all the glory goes to Him and not you. Does that make sense? You know, things like finding that perfect something you were looking for or even that divine appointment you were trying to seek after for months and then all of a sudden the divine connection happens. That is what I am talking about. Just the other day I dialed a phone number and I did not realize that I was one digit off when I dialed the phone number. I was expecting someone to answer the phone and to my surprise it was someone else. I inquired if I dialed the right number and that is when I was told I did dial wrong. I then felt Holy Spirit nudge me to see if this person needed prayer. Guess what? You guessed right if you figured out that I prayed for this person. Not only did I have the opportunity to pray with them I was then prayed for by this person. This person was right on in the prayer prayed for me. I then shared with them that their prayer was very timely and accurate. You see, I felt the leading to dial the phone number I was trying to call. I guess the slip of my finger to press a digit off was not necessarily a mistake right? I could have chose to apologize for dialing the wrong number and hung up but I followed Holy Spirit's leading. You see, I was then able to share that testimony in a conversation I had later that very day. That is the type of surprise I am talking about. The walk with Jesus is fresh and exciting and not dull and boring. If you are living the later mentioned life with Jesus then you have to repent and seek Him and allow Him to walk with you. When you go for a walk with someone at your side do you ignore them? I would hope not for that is rude right? When you have the distinct honor of walking with someone that is the perfect time for fellowship and sharing. I am referring to the natural realm. When I walk that is just one of many times I share with Jesus and He shares back with me. Do not limit your relationship with Jesus He can make your life so grand and full of life for He is life.
I helped my mother yesterday with some Spring cleaning and guess what she gave me? A few poems one of my children wrote and pictures from my debutante ball. I told you I danced with my brother and now you will be able to see what I wrote about in a prior writing.
