My Heart Is Heavy Today For The Lost

This day has been filled with bursts of tears throughout this day. As I write right now my eyes are filled again with tears. The reason being that there will more than likely be someone that has not accepted Jesus into their heart today. In their mind they think that they have tomorrow or the next day or so forth. In reality no man is promised tomorrow or the next, etc. For today is the day of salvation. This is not just a message for the old it is also a message for the young. I remember when I was younger and felt invincible. Nothing was going to stop me from living life. I learned through the death of my brother when he died in his early 20's that life is not always promised to us to live to be a ripe old age. Think long and hard today that before you lay your head down on your pillow tonight that you will ask forgiveness of Jesus. It is not some hard task to do it is so simple that even a child is able to conceive and grasp the idea of salvation in Jesus. Some people think that they have to jump through hoops and have a very pristine life before they can invite Jesus into their lives. Not so, if that were the case then I would still be living the life filled with anger that I lived a few years ago. Satan is a deceiver and he would like you to think that. That you are not good enough to come to Jesus just the way you are. That is where the lie is revealed, Jesus wants you to come to Him just the way you are. Ask Him for forgiveness with a sincere heart and then invite Him into your heart to guide your steps and your life. When you are safe in Jesus that is the best place to be. You see, you can do 1,000 things and think that you did them with a good heart. The fact of the matter is that no matter what you do and how much you do and how often you do it, it will never be enough for you to walk into heaven on your own doing. We are given the gift of eternal life free, there is no charge to you or no amount of work that you complete can earn it. It is freely given to you by Jesus. We can walk in heaven because Jesus came down to earth as an infant child through the virgin birth to redeem His own. His own references those that accept Him and believe that He did come to earth, was born, died and then gloriously rose from the dead on the third day. I know of no one else that has done that. What an awesome love He has for us that he would give up His life so we could live with Him forever and ever and ever. My prayer for you today is that you will see the truth in what I write about and then give your life to Jesus. I will rejoice in advance because I just know that someone reading this will receive Jesus this very day. Did you know that all of heaven rejoices when one comes to know Jesus? I invite you this very day to get to know Jesus, He is real, He is alive, He will set you free. May peace fill your hearts and homes this very day.
