It was daylight outside, and I felt compelled to take my breakfast outside and eat it on the patio. It was unusually silent, almost eerie to not hear birds chirping, squirrels running across the fence and birds coming to feeders. I could hear a few either crickets or cicadas in the faint distance making their noises. The only 2 birds I saw and heard their wing flutter noises were the hummingbirds coming up to the hummingbird feeder and letting me know they needed the nectar replenished. They would fly and just be by the feeder but not drink any nectar. I noticed that and then realized to fill up the feeder with fresh nectar. Very interesting, do you agree. I then looked up and saw a few birds flying and getting ready for their V formation in the sky.
I firmly believe that nature is most attentive to things going on in the atmosphere be it good or eerie. What do you think this is all about? Before I went outside, I already put a load of laundry in the washer and looked out my front window as I opened the blinds to let the daylight in. I recalled this little saying I heard growing up. Maybe because I lived by the Great Lake Erie and storms were known to come in off of the lake. We were always taught how to be careful with the currents in this body of water. It could be calm one minute and then the currents could kick up and if you were in the water in one of those strong currents it could be fatal for your very life. It goes like this "Red sky at night sailors delight, red sky in the morning sailors take warning." That is what I saw this very morning. I am now sitting on my deck writing this and beginning to hear some more bird chirp noises and I even saw a squirrel looking for food at the caged feeder, which is empty now, the kind you place that suet type of food for the birds to eat. Well, the squirrels have found a way to eat from it. I must admit they are very creative and resourceful when it comes to finding food aren't they. I have noticed that some of it drops to the ground and the birds will not let it go to waste there either.
Our nation, USA needs the entire atmosphere cleansed and re-dedicated back to God because even nature is sensitive to something not being quite right out there. Repent, turn from your wicked ways and let Him heal our land and restore righteousness to it again. People are not fools like some would like to believe we are. Their eyes are being opened and hearts too. I just heard several crows making their noises they make. I am telling you all something is up outside. These hummingbirds are extremely territorial, chasing each other away from the feeder. Then they rest and watch in the tree I was trying to curse earlier this season. Boy was I ever wrong about that. I use that tree to place bird feeders on and birds, including the hummingbirds take refuge on the branches of that very tree only feet away from where I am sitting now. The hummingbirds are fascinating to observe. They don't always flutter those precious wings of theirs. They actually rest in stillness while perched on the branch of a tree. Just watching and observing with no wing movement. I just saw one looking like they stretched out their tiny little wings. I told you I am an observant person by my natural ways, and I am seeing so our hummingbirds.
I am now hearing the endearing sound of a train going through town. The tree in front of me has for a few weeks now been changing to their Fall colors on the leaves. From what I can observe now maybe hues of burnt orange in color and they are highlighted when the sun shines on them. I see clouds in the sky now with patches of blue sky here and there. These are my early morning observations I share with you today.
Oh, I have kind neighbors. On trash removal day we all have to bring the wheeled and heavy garbage receptacles to the curb and one of those automated type of garbage removal vehicles picks up the container and then places it back on the ground. I was up and out very early Friday morning and I was planning on bringing back the refuge container but one of my kind neighbors already brought it back for me. I do not even know whom to thank. There is something endearing about living away from the big city noises and lights, there really is. Yes, I do miss going to certain stores but they are only a drive away. I did that yesterday. The night before I fell asleep on the couch and then got up to go to bed but found myself up all night long praying, seeking Holy Spirit and conversing with Him too. I kept telling Him I had to be up early in the morning to fulfill a commitment I said I would do, and I need to be clear minded. I think I actually fell asleep for maybe 2 hours and woke up so refreshed and filled with energy like I had a full night's sleep with no sleep interruptions. I do believe He was showing me if I place His work first, He will replenish me and He did in a mighty way. It wasn't until about 3PM yesterday that I was on the road heading to the Nashville/Nolensville area in search of luggage. I found none but hey I was full of energy. So much so in the rain and lightning by me I took a walk around the neighborhood with my Russell Stover umbrella singing softly to the Lord as I did. Then came inside and got on the exercise bike for about 25 minutes watching a livestream conference being presented by a ministry.
The sun is now breaking through the clouds and such a glorious day it is and I am seeing the birds active again.
