Let Me Share A Few Pictures Of The Christmas Lights In Downtown Cleveland.

My daughter is most gracious and a wonderful hostess too. After meeting my niece and great niece for dinner last Saturday night she drove me through downtown Cleveland to see the Christmas lights. It was wonderful seeing people downtown on a Saturday night, a brisk/cold Saturday night I might add. Every year they fill up the outside ice skating rink and people ice skate there. May Co. was a big department store in downtown and they have since been closed. The update via my daughter is the old May Company store is being renovated into apartments. I liked still seeing the 'M" still on the windows. Apartments right on the square in downtown.
When I was a child we dressed up to go downtown to see Santa and also visit the Twigbee shop to do our Christmas shopping. There was also Mr. Jingaling @ Halle's Department store. He was the keeper of the keys. Let's see if I remember the tune that mentions Mr. Jingaling:
"Mr. Jingaling keeper of the keys. On Halle's 7th floor we'll be looking for you to turn the keys. Keeping track of Santa's sack(or it may be pack?) and treasure house of toys, wind up things that Santa brings to all the little girls and boys." I sure hope I got it right ha ha.
We also drove by The Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. When it first opened family was in town visiting so we all went there. I remember waiting in the lobby area for the rest of the family to finish up and who walks in Garfunkel, of Simon & Garfunkel . My daughter reminded me how he would not give us his autograph.
See how God orchestrates things. He never ceases to amaze me. Just before writing this blog I was reading scripture in the bible about God's love. There truly is no greater love than the love of God. Oh, are you walking in God's love? That is part of our testimony to share the love of God with others.
