Completed This Morning 12/22/2019 20 Days Of Daily Communion; Let Me Share About My Adventure Purchasing Happy Hanukkah Postage Stamps Yesterday; Anyone Like Mint Dessert?

I was up very early yesterday 12/21/2019. I mean really early that is, like 2AM early. I was up and so I did chores for a bit. I then felt compelled to pick up my "Torah Teachers and You" study guide/workbook and I read and completed the end of the chapter quiz section also for 2 chapters. I picked up this book months ago when Bargain Hunt had a warehouse sale. Whatever fit into the bag you only paid a minimal amount for it. I knew and still know the value of books so I scooped up books to be included in this "grab bag" sort of sale. One of the books was this one. I think it is a study guide for children maybe that attend a Hebrew class of some sort. I keep it at an arms distance and when I feel compelled I pick it up and participate. The only thing with this study guide is that there is not a correct answers guide to go along with it. Some of the questions at the end of each chapter are simple and then there are others that I have to go back and search for the actual answer. I am trusting that my answers are correct for there is no guide to work against to see if there are any errors. This intrigues me. For the longest time I would see a date i.e. 226 C.E. and it would cause me to wonder what the C.E. stood for. I looked up that answer just today. Ok I know you want me to tell you what it means but this time you need to look it up so you also get in the practice of searching something out if you are curious and want to know.
Weeks ago I had to go and pick up name cards I ordered form a local Christian bookstore. While there I saw ready made communion cups and inquired of the price. I was told you did not have to buy a whole bag but you could get whatever amount and I was given the price per cup amount. I was at the counter and said I would like to purchase some. I stood there and they asked me how many I wanted and I waited upon Holy Spirit to tell me what I needed. I then spoke forth I need 20. I have been taking daily communion and it was completed today, on Hanukkah. Happy Hanukkah to you. This is very interesting what I read in the book yesterday, "There are other Torah laws that protect the welfare of animals. The laws of kashrut regulate the way animals are slaughtered, so as to cause them a minimum of pain." I do not know why but that statement fascinated me.
I had 1 project I had to complete that day, yesterday that is. I had to go to the post office and send out a few things in the mail and I was going to inquire about the Happy Hanukkah forever postage stamps. See, I was at this local post office weeks ago and inquired about them but they said they did not have any. I think they were not released yet if I am not mistaken. I even went to another post office location in search of them and they had none either. So, on a whim I inquired yesterday and they had them in to purchase. The postal clerk then shared with me that they ordered them just for me since I inquired about them weeks prior. I then purchased them. I need 2 for 2 items sent in the mail and then I offered one to the postal clerk as a commemorative for them to have. They accepted one from me. Oh my, you just don't seem to get like you used to days gone by customer service like this. I called the 800 phone number to compliment this postal clerk. It was well worth the over 1 hour time frame to receive a call back. I am so thankful that I did take the time to recognize this person and their looking out for the customers. I did add when speaking with the customer service person that they really do need to add more variety in postage stamps because I use them as an accessory to what card I may be sending in the mail. I suggested more pretty flowers and we have not seen lighthouses for many years now.
On Friday morning, 12/20/2019 I woke up and knew I had to purchase Oreo Mint cookies to bake with. Isn't that odd? I guess not so I went on my lunch hour and purchased a bag of cookies. Saturday really was a day of staying around the home and that is what I did. There is a local television channel that plays family oriented  Christmas (I call them love stories) movies. I spent the day baking and watching these movies. They all have happy endings and I like that very much so do you. I made 4 different types of bark style candy (the kind you make and then break off pieces.) I made white chocolate with chopped mint Oreo cookies; white chocolate with a combination of spicy peanuts and chili lime almonds; dark chocolate with pretzel pieces; and milk chocolate with peanuts. I then made a chocolate mint Oreo cookie recipe for cookies. See, that day was a day of making things with mint pretty much so.
I still have to put together a package for the leasing office staff and for my co-workers at marketplace ministry. If I can be honest/frank with you I feel the anointing is starting to lift on this. Let's see what happens today when I go to marketplace ministry. It is perfectly fine with me if the anointing is lifting because I had 7 wonderful years of blessing at this vocation. I am trusting Holy Spirit direction in this.
I finished reading the book, "The Prophet" last night and I already have another book waiting in the wings for me to start reading, "Deliverance from Darkness" both books by James W. Goll. This man is truly a servant of God and writes such prolific books.
So, as I wake this morning and ponder on this writing a song comes to my mind from Fiddler on the Roof, "To Life to Life L'chaim." That is the song I am humming right now and how appropriate. I completed my daily communion today on Hanukkah and in my receiving communion I thank Jesus that He gave His very life so I could have life with Him in heaven for all eternity.

Oh my gosh, as I was viewing this video it brought back memories to me. Remember I shared with you how I was a member of a local tamburitza folk group? Well, one of the dances that were choreographed for our group the guys were actually taught how to dance like you see some of the dance steps in this film.
