Recently I listened to a video of Pastor Benny Hinn that was dated 9/17/2019. I totally understand what he is saying and I can say that because I sat in meetings when "emotional" offerings were being taken. I learned this lesson years ago, Holy Spirit was my teacher and He still is today. I would sit in these meetings with emotional offerings being taken. This was a popular one …….so many people in the congregation/meeting will give a $1,000.00 and they will get the anointing for their offering amount. I used to think to myself what about the person that heard Holy Spirit to give $10.00 or $100.00 does that mean they don't get the same anointing as the $1,000.00 seed offering. That just never made sense to me I thought the anointing was there for all to partake in, that were open to receiving it. In meetings like this I would hear Holy Spirit so clear to do not give in the offering. Sometimes I would be sitting up close and many around me would give in the offering. I would literally just close my eyes in these situations as the offering bucket would go past me. Everything inside of me at the time seemed to be screaming why, why, why an emotional offering today? Pastor Hinn I get what you are saying. I truly do. Many times I would seek Holy Spirit prior to even entering these camp meeting type of meetings as to what He wanted, not be swayed when an emotional offering would come around. I listened to Holy Spirit in regard to what He spoke to my heart even before I set foot in the church. Benny Hinn also spoke of the need to be preaching the Cross and I also agree with him when he stated that Jesus is coming soon. I was sheltered from understanding the concept that it will be way off in time. People quit playing around with the things not of God and get your life following the word of God.
I have heard people speak of Lonnie Frisbee and something jogged me to research this person. I found a video from 1980 and oddly enough he touches upon the subject of prosperity doctrine. I get this guy I really do. I tend to be eccentric or should I say abstract at times. I love how he shares his stories of walking around with I think it was an animal skin and he would place it upon people along with anointing oil he created. How funny, I chuckle to myself for there was a season in my very life years ago that I would create different scented anointing oils. I Learned one thing, not good to mix cinnamon oil when making anointing oil for it can have a strong burning sensation when touching the skin. Definitely keep it away from the eyes. This man is so candid and sincere when he shares. I believe this video was of him preaching on a Mother's Day.
Then onto John Wimber explaining how it came to be that Lonnie Frisbee preached that Mother's Day. All culminating with a video called The Jesus People film 1972.
Keep following Holy Spirit lead in your life. I was a bit tired for I kept getting up off and on last night and I did not even know why this was happening to me. So I was a bit tired tonight but Holy Spirit says you need to bake oatmeal bars this evening. I did, I made a recipe with peach preserves, red plum and apricot preserves. I am also going to be making gluten free muffins and I saw 2 in particular to add ingredients to make a coconut pineapple and then one with dark chocolate chips and chopped dried cherries. I also got a ripe banana at the store to make a few banana nut ones. Same mix but I will divide it up to try all three flavors.
So I have the oatmeal bars in the oven and I go to the exercise room while they are baking. I kept seeing a blue colored area in the room. Oddly enough I saw a few weeks ago a person preaching and I saw the color green all around their head and left hand and then it went to their right hand. I was tired tonight but Holy Spirit beckoned me to write and share with you so that is what I did. Peace and joy in Holy Spirit this night or whenever you will be reading this.
Oh this is exciting, at work I requested if we could start a Snack Drawer for my fellow co-workers. See, I tend to bring in snacks to bless my co-workers. I just feel Holy Spirit has me do this for a reason and I follow through. I started this also in 2 prior departments I worked in. I know you may be saying to yourself save your money and imagine what you could put it towards as a savings instead of purchasing snacks. I say I have to follow Holy Spirit lead in this. I have a hospitality gift inside of me. I trust Holy Spirit when He says to move in this arena and until I hear otherwise I will continue on. God is faithful and He is also just so stay on the narrow and straight path in your life and do not deviate to the left, right or even looking back to what used to be. Forge ahead with Jesus and He will take you on great adventures too.
