Did you know our Father in heaven sings love songs over you? Do you listen to hear them? I do and He is the very one that saw me before I was ever in my mother's womb growing to then be born in the exact time I was suppose to be born. It was yesterday that Holy Spirit specifically gave me this verse in the bible Ecclesiastes 3:2 "A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pull out what was planted." Hum I believe it is harvest time at least where I reside. So the other day I was driving and on occasion I do wonder why I only saw cotton growing in the fields 5 years ago and each year after that I did not see it planted. I remember it so clear because I thought the little white puffs of cotton growing on the plants looked so striking in the fields. Each year I would look for it but to no avail, other plants were growing. Well, this year I was so elated to see cotton growing in the fields again. I do not know why this was the year selected to grow cotton and not the prior years but I sure am happy to see it. I think the last time I saw cotton growing in a field was when I was in Huntsville, AL. I was so impressed with it that I stopped at a cotton gin and took a few pictures. I think I shared those with you. Ok onto the next phase of this journal entry but I think it still seems to flow together because of the scripture verse I share with you next.
I was about to make a mistake until Holy Spirit brought me to a church service where I heard a word that caused me to not act in a manner I was contemplating acting upon. I was ready to pop off (you know an email with me sharing a piece of my mind per say) an email with my sentiments inside the email. Being critical and maybe even a bit whiny in a cordial way if that makes sense. I was going to share my thoughts and disdain. I already started composing this potential email in my mind with how I was going to word it. Over the weekend I connected with church acquaintances that I have not seen in several months now. In conversation they shared with me about a preacher and it was one of those things that the conversation is now in the back of my mind. They even invited me to join them on a Sunday service.
You know me I may have to work at my marketplace ministry job so it would probably be a midweek service. I love the winds of Holy Spirit so much and how He just says lets go here and I usually say ok lets go. I stated it like that because I am sure there have been times when maybe I was tired or I just missed the invitation. I am not perfect but I do think I am getting much better at not only catching the waves of Holy Spirit but also following the wind as He guides me. So much fun, it really is. God has a quick response time when you are about to maybe step into something that is not of His leading and then regret it afterward. Something to cause you to take a few steps back instead of a few strong steps forward. You have to really trust Holy Spirit and His guidance.
Just a few short hours prior I was ready to start composing my email I mentioned earlier. I knew I had to go to the church last night and I am so glad I did. There was a word waiting for me there. I jotted down notes in my notebook. I will share some of the highlights with you. First of all the service started out with sharing the Passion translation of Psalm 139:13-18. So beautiful to hear those words spoken to us. I actually read it again this morning from the Passion translation.
"3 keys to develop your destiny & purpose. All 3 work together
1. The law of difference
2. The law of reciprocal purpose
3. The law of honor
The law of difference is something of God in you that cannot be found in anyone else. You need to recognize the uniqueness God placed inside of you. Your difference will define your assignment. Heaven is intrigued by your difference. People are attracted to your difference and satan is fearful by your difference and your uniqueness under the power of God. Major in your difference and quit minoring in someone else's difference.
Reciprocal purpose in your life is a give and take. Joseph found a problem that could be resolved by his God given difference. Someone's deficiency/dysfunction cries out for your difference. God will pair you up to protect you and the other person.
The law of honor. Honor is to treat with respect or esteem. Every righteous act is an act of honor and honor celebrates the differences in a persons life. Look for someone to honor & it will open the door to your destiny. Honor is a spirit of generosity and it will enlarge your destiny. Dishonor is a spirit of poverty when you criticize people it is a part of poverty. It will always knock down something it doesn't have the ability to compliment someone who has more than you or more anointing than you. Generosity will always lift up others."
Did I do an ok job of taking notes? Do you see why I was sent here to hear this word? Confirmation of the scripture verse Holy Spirit spoke to me earlier and then to hear about the law of honor. It truly is better to bless others including your enemies and to not curse them. Oddly enough I happened to have a full vial of the Dalton, GA anointing oil with me in my purse and Holy spirit nudged me to give one to the pastors wife for her husband and I would also guess for them as a couple . God is good, God is great, God is faithful. Now, don't forget to listen to the song.
