Wow this is going to be a bit of a mish mash blog entry today. I am just all over the place in this particular writing. First and foremost Perdue Chicken why do you sell a bone-in beautiful roasting chicken breast with all these crazy ingredients added to it? Really? A perfectly fine bone in chicken breast and then I look at the long list of ingredients. For $9.99 price point is should not have all these ingredients listed on the package. What is it with these ingredients for a roaster chicken breast: Brown sugar, dextrose, carrageenan, then it just threw me for a loop when I saw yeast extract? This makes absolutely no sense. Know what I did? I broke open the roasting bag it was contained in and I rinsed off all of that stuff and even rinsed under the chicken skin portion. I then marinaded it in a marinade in which I knew what the ingredients were. It was a moist chicken breast once it was roasted. I like to also par boil potatoes and carrots and then cut them up and roast them in the natural juices the last hour. Please Perdue re-consider adding all that stuff to a perfectly fine chicken breast.
Do you notice on labels more than ever now you start to see the ingredient":yeast extract" added to products. Why do we see this popping up it seems to be everywhere?
There are several people at church that it seems they are pregnant and that is a beautiful thing. Oh my I am well past that stage in my life but I felt like I was a bit nesting today. I have chicken paprikash on the stove now cooking and a chicken breast roasting in the oven. Meals for the week. Really though...I work at my marketplace job with a very talented, sweet, and kind young woman who recently received a high honor from the organization. I stopped in the other day to congratulate this person and told them I would make chicken paprikash and bring some in to them. Well, it is not quite done yet so it will be brought in as a care package probably tomorrow after work (my full-time job that is.) It is good to honor your peers and celebrate with them. Do not begrudge someone for achieving high accomplishments but celebrate them. Learn from them. Observe what they do that seems to be cutting edge above the norm and you will find yourself highly favored in your diligence to better the organization in which you work.
I went to a church service last night with a friend. We went to dinner after and then I headed back home. It was almost close to midnight when I felt Holy Spirit say it is time to create the baby shower gift card. Guess what I did not feel tired or feel it was a struggle to create at that time of night. I actually played a ministry video and listened while I created. Do you like it?

I was looking for something this morning and I did not realize I had this cassette tape. FAO Schwarz Animated Clock song. I think we bought this for one of our children when we were in NYC years ago. Guess what I did, I played it a few times this morning while getting ready for church. Do you know I began to sing in tongues to that melody on the way to church. Yes I did. Actually, when I was doing that all of a sudden this thought popped into my mind, hum that sounds a bit like the tune "Fly Me To The Moon" and I began to hum that tune. So, it is happy music day today if that is ok with you.
