Tomorrow Is A Celebration Luncheon @ Work. Would You Like To Know What I Made To Bring To The Luncheon?

Tomorrow will be a double celebration luncheon at work. Meaning two people will be honored and that is why we are having this luncheon. It seems to work out pretty good. People sign up to bring things they tend to like to make or things like soft drinks, snack food items, etc. I made a brisket of beef and I make brisket pretty good usually that is. The key to making a great brisket is to cook it on a low temperature in the oven and bake it for a good amount of time. What I do is I take a package of dry onion soup mix and mix it with water and that is what I bake the meat in the roaster in. I also tend to grate a carrot so when the meat is done cooking you can use the soup and carrots as a natural gravy if you like. I did that but I thought maybe I would make an actual gravy this time and serve the brisket as hot sandwiches with the gravy ladled on top. Did not work out I had to throw away the gravy. You know why? I made a perfect gravy no lumps in it at all and just the right seasoning. I follow what my mom used when we were little and she made a brown gravy, use Gravy Master. Well, I did but I thought the tiny print said 1 tbls. of Gravy Master and I put that in when it actually said 1 tsp. and the gravy turned very dark brown almost like melted chocolate color. I tasted it and it tasted fine but I just could not serve that to people looking like that so I threw it away. Plan B was actually the better choice. I purchased slider sized rolls and I then cut up provolone cheese and I cut the beef brisket into sizes small enough to place on the roll to make a sandwich. So I put a slice of provolone, slice of beef brisket and fresh chopped chives from my patio garden then another piece of provolone cheese. I will also have Guldens mustard and horseradish sauce if anyone want to put that on their sandwich.
Second dish I made is a Wolfgang Puck recipe for the electric pressure cooker. I will post the recipe so you may want to try it one day ok. I think I added extra red pepper flakes to give it an extra kick. I made a recipe and a half and there is enough to fill one of my larger size casserole dishes. I hope they like it.
Holy Spirit spoke to me at work today. In a gentle and soft manner He said He had a surprise for me. I asked Him what it was and I heard Him say today is the day I dance with destiny. I said ok and I trust Him when He speaks to me.
We had a pretty hard rain here this early evening. As the rice dish was finishing up cooking in the electric pressure cooker I felt Holy Spirit nudge me to go for a walk by the river. One section of the sky looked ok but another section looked a bit dark like storm clouds in the distance. I brought my umbrella with me just in case. I begin walking and at a point I begin to sing forth not sing inside of me these words "Jesus Reigns." I sang it over and over again and then other words came forth as I sang but the main words were Jesus Reigns. So I see a little bunny rabbit and it looks right at me and I sing to it Jesus Reigns. It looked at me then hopped back by the trees. I get to the bridge and there is an incline so I tend to sometimes walk up and down it because it is inclined and I think a better bit of a challenge to me. When I lived in GA I lived in a neighborhood that had plenty of hills when I walked, I do miss that. I really do. I think walking with hill inclines is a bit better for you than walking flat surfaces all the time. I notice a deer and I am singing and it looks right at me and I sing the verse to the deer and it sauntered a bit away. So I notice as I am going up and down the incline the deer along with another deer just stay there as I sing to them. They did not move the entire time I sang as I was going up ad down the incline. I guess tonight I was to sing to God's creatures as I walked. That is exactly what I did. Oh one more thing...just before I finished walking I heard Holy Spirit remind me today I danced with destiny so of course I stopped and did a twirl as walking out the prophetic word spoke to my heart today.
