On 8/18, My Birthday It Was Presented To Me An Option, Did I Want To Receive A Professional Picture Or Portrait Of My Earthly Father. What Do You Think I Chose?

My birthday was just a few short days ago. It was quiet for the most part and I did work marketplace ministry that day. I started out the day pretty early in the morning. In the presence of Jesus. I had a cup of coffee and sat and read my new Passion translation bible. I read Song of Songs and Proverbs 18. I read that particular Proverb since it was the date of my birthday 18. This is truly a lovely translation of the bible. It will not replace my bibles that I read now but it sure will enhance my reading when reading the bible.
I also found a book months ago. At a Bargain Hunt warehouse sale you only paid a small fee for the bag that you loaded up with items. I saw books and that was a part of this purchase. It was time to get out the book which is actually a study guide/workbook for students I think. "Torah Teachers and You" by Sol Scharfstein. I finished the first three chapters of this workbook: World History 6th Century B.C.E Ezra and Nehemiah; 5th Century B.C.E. Queen Esther 486-485 B.C.E.; then 1st Century B.C.E. Hillel 1st Century. I love workbooks like this because you read first then there is a Match The Columns and Fill In The Blanks section to complete. I like little challenges like this. A knowledge test.Then I did a bit of research of the dream interpretation I shared with you all the other day. The dream which I saw two children in pink linen dresses and the healing that took place in that dream.
I then went to marketplace ministry to be a blessing to others that day. When I spoke with my boss days prior and they told me I was scheduled to work on my birthday I did not shrink back or complain at all my response to them was oh it is my birthday and I get to bless others being at work.
I came home and I felt I needed a rest. I usually do not take naps per say but that day I needed a refreshing nap and that is what I did. I had intentions to go to a church service @ 4PM at a church that just started 4pm services. I felt  to stay home and rest and that is what I did. I did not even go walking but I did go to the gym. Started reading a new book, actually one of two books I purchased recently. "Angelic Encounters" by James & Michal Ann Goll and "A Divine Revelation of Heaven" by Mary K. Baxter with Dr. T.L. Lowery.
I received a message in the evening if anyone wanted the 2 pictures displayed and a clown figurine that was my father's, I responded yes to the message. The choice was a portrait of my father when he was a bit younger and I always liked that portrait for he reminded me in the portrait of a younger Tony Curtis, the actor that is. It ended up just fine for the one I selected left the other one open for my sibling and that is the one they always liked of our father. See, he has been dead for several years now. We contested his will and oddly enough on my birthday a cousin comes to visit and brings these few items with them from another relative that inherited my father's belongings. Do you hear what I am saying? Not the day before or the day after but on my birthday the choices are presented to me. A gift from heaven via an aunt here on earth to bless my fathers children. Isn't that so like God? Yes it is, magnified 1,000 times that is. I speak favor and blessings upon my cousin that brought with them the gifts along with my aunt that chose to bless his children. God is faithful, God is Good and above all others God is love.
Speaking about love...….I spoke with a few patrons/customers waiting to be seated while I was working Sunday and I inquired as to what the church sermon was that day. It was on LOVE. They shared with me about it and it caused me to contemplate also. You know we are called to love even those that may persecute us or their intent is to do things that could possibly trip us up. Do you love even the unlovely? I try to work on this one, I really do.  I did walk by the river it was either Friday or Saturday and after walking I saw an acquaintance from work and we talked at the park. They were there with their family. See, when Holy Spirit wants to confirm something He spoke to your heart prior He will set up the exact moment for you. Something happened to me months ago at work and Holy Spirit revealed to me then who the person was, the instigator so to speak. I did not retaliate even though I wanted to but did not for that was an instance of self control and not acting like a child that was wounded and wanted to get back at that person. Do you ever deal with things like this?
Sure enough, the very person I thought it was the person confirmed it was actually them.
It is all in God's timing, it truly is.
Let me show you the picture choices ok. I will also show you a lovely necklace a former co-worker blessed me with as part of a birthday gift. I went to the store and sure enough I found the matching earrings to go with it. Not the best picture I took since the main portion of the necklace I cut off in the picture. Hey I am not a photographer I am just a person that captures the moments in time to share on the blog with you. It was abalone I think and so were the matching earrings. God is good all the time. Can you find something to thank God for in your very life.
Oh, I pulled out the Vera  Lynn cd and have been listening to on "repeat" mode "When You Wish Upon A Star."
