Until Jesus Says No More I Will Continue To Bless Him In Marketplace Ministry. Great Day With Great Ending To The Day, Want To Hear About It?

Until Jesus says my time is up in marketplace ministry on Sunday's I will continue on. What an awesome day today. I received a piece to the puzzle today by just working my marketplace ministry job today. I met a woman that shared with me about a local church having a night of worship this evening. All it takes for me is to hear "worship" and the thought begins to churn inside of me. Let's back it up a bit ok...it is as though a light for Jesus really does shine bright and it is as if the light is turned on when I walk through the doors of my marketplace ministry job on Sunday's. Yes, that is what happens. Think of it like this...a person that greets people with the love of Christ but not in an offensive way if that makes sense. Just a person that sees beauty and striking up conversations with people to allow them to share their story. People there are really great stories out there to hear if we would just stop and let another talk and share their story.
This piece of the puzzle I received today was a great example how God cares and opens up doors for you to share your testimony. You may say to yourself what does she mean with that statement? I contacted a few friends to see if anyone wanted to attend the night of worship. One responded so the stage was set so to speak. We were to meet at a certain location at a certain time then go into the church sanctuary together. This is a miracle in itself, I arrived a little earlier then the set time. There was my opportunity to share a part of my testimony with the local pastor. I shared briefly I think it was just today how a local pastor's mother placed my name in the wailing/western wall in Israel a few years ago. I trust you read that blog entry today. In my heart I was going to see if I could see her tonight to be able to thank her and update her about my DNA testing that brought me into the Jewish bloodline a few years after she placed my name there. Well, low and behold, there was the Pastor. I had the opportunity to share with him. You see, Holy Spirit gives us the nudges and do we respond or not. Fear of talking with someone could possibly hold someone back. Do not let that for we do not have a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Do not let fear grip your heart but step out in faith. That is far better than the other option ok.
I asked the pastor if he could share something with his mother. I then proceeded to briefly tell him to tell his mother that when she placed my name at the wailing wall a few years ago I did not have my DNA done until last year and I found out that I am 2% European Jewish and within my family tree my great great grandmother brought this into our bloodline. I asked him to thank his mother for me. I then had time to go into the book store in search of a book by Derek Price but the one I was searching for was not there. Then I see my friend. We get a good seat and enjoy the evening of worship. I feel led right now to ask Holy Spirit to bless the woman that shared this event with me earlier today in a very mighty and powerful way. Yes and amen to that prayer. If I would have never had that very conversation I would have missed an opportunity to thank the person indirectly that blessed me with placing my name in the wailing wall a few years ago. See how this works? Do not be afraid to step out in faith. Trust and obey for it truly is the only way.
The end of the evening my friend wanted to bless me so she bought me one of the cd's by the worship artist that was at the church. God is good, God is great and God is waiting upon you to respond to Holy Spirit nudge, Will you accept when you hear Him or will you ignore the gentle nudge. Do not be stubborn just listen for His still, small voice and say yes to the invitation.
Want to hear something really interesting? Before I went to the worship event I was listening to a live stream of a church service and if I am not mistaken the pastor was mentioning PEACE. Didn't I just write about that today earlier it was the closing sentence to my blog entry. See how amazing God is, He truly is. I speak it again right now Peace is in the air, yes, that is what I sense right now...peace is in the air.
