I Have Been Waiting MANY Years For A God Promise To Be Fulfilled. When I Become Impatient My First Inclination Is To Run Until Holy Spirit Tells Me To Stand & Wait Upon The Promise Being Fulfilled. What Do You Think I Do?

I have been waiting many years now for a promise to be fulfilled that God spoke to my heart. When I become impatient my first inclination is to run away and relocate elsewhere in hopes that the promise will be fulfilled somewhere else. I know that this is not the right thing to do but when you are recovering from being sick it can be a time in which you can be come vulnerable if you do not let Holy Spirit continue to guide you. What did I hear before, it went something like this... if you are tired or lonely or I think even hungry that is not the time to make big decisions because you can be a bit off balance.
Wait upon the Lord. It will truly be worth every bit of waiting and also the grooming process for your life as you wait upon the promise. Do not waste this valuable time but use it as a grooming process so to speak. Like Queen Esther did. The women had to prepare for a year if I am not mistaken for the one moment in time that they would spend a night with the king. Why would you settle for anything less than the grooming process to be complete? If you cut the grooming process short by even a day there could have been something very valuable for you to learn on the very day you decided to quit waiting upon the Lord. So when the day arrives you will not be all that He wants you to be. Why? Because you became impatient and missed the most valuable piece of the puzzle you will need for the day of your promise being revealed/arriving.
I was up very early today and I was doing spiritual warfare in the area in which I reside. Let me tell you there were some pretty strong strongholds over this region and they wanted to take control. See, when you know your territory of influence or realm of influence and Holy Spirit calls you to fight in the spirit you obey because things greater than you are at hand ok. You must know your realm/sphere of influence though. Never step out in a territory that Holy Spirit has not called you to or equipped you to handle. When you are with Him and He is guiding your battle work strategy that is the best place to be. How can you fall asleep after doing work like that? You can't. So you begin to wonder and think, be cautious when you are here. Do not think in your own influence but think higher in the realm of Holy Spirit thinking and then you will be ok.
Just the other day I really said to Holy Spirit I will be willing to move to another location out of state. That is because I saw a need and I was willing to volunteer to Holy Spirit to go and handle that need until...…. I got a phone call and a voicemail message stating that I qualified for a senior discount. I further inquired about it and found out that when my lease was renewed there was a 20.00 increase in rent. I now find out that I qualified for a senior discount since I am now 60 years old. So instead of a 20.00 increase it is only a 5.00 increase in rent. I should be thrilled by this news but part of me was thinking why can't I just move to new surroundings? I get it even though I can be stubborn at times I know this is where I am to be for right now. For this I am most thankful for this blessing.
I was exercising tonight and praying in the spirit I was just about done and a person walks into the exercise room and there was a not good spirit with them. Have you ever been somewhere and you feel a shift in the atmosphere? Well that happened and I even began to cough when they walked in the room. I of course said to myself thank you Lord that there will be no transference of any evil, yucky spirits in the name of Jesus. I then left. I will not subject myself to stuff like that when I have authority in the name of Jesus.
On the way to and from exercise I had this song playing by Crowder, it pretty much sums up my recent experience. Have a listen ok.

Crowder - Let It Rain (Is There Anybody) (Lyric Video) ft. Mandisa
