Yesterday I Did Ironing Of Clothes & Items I Laundered & Ironed For Packing Up My Place To Move. It Was Endearing Using My Mom's Iron.

Since I had to do ironing yesterday, I thought why not use mom's iron to be a little nostalgic. You know the last person that probably used that iron was my mother. See, she taught us to do laundry and iron clothes too. Yes, I have and use a clothes steamer but there is just something about the look of clothes ironed. They appear neater and have that polished look to them. Do you agree. Do you still iron or even have an iron and ironing board? I do and I use it. I also use spray starch when certain fabrics call for it to give that crisp look to them.

I came across a song today while listening to Christian music and it had me think a bit about my mom in heaven now. It is "Home" by Chris Tomlin. I also mapped out directions from the place I will be moving to distance wise to where I work. Looks like it will be close to an hour drive each way. Where God guides God provides. I guess one will search out hidden treasures when searching for peace & quiet and not having to listen to other's stuff. The one thing I definitely will not miss is having to hear the people going to the bathroom because that is just crude if I may be honest with you. Let me clarify it being males urinating. I know it is not a delightful subject but that is the reality in apartment living. If you are not a female and had to ever experience it before then you don't know what I am talking about. Something so private in a person's life is being heard by strangers, how uncomfortable is that. I know the cure, if apartment complexes spent the time and money sound proofing or insulating the building better just maybe this nuisance could be taken care of.

I went to a church service last night and the worship was so refreshing. I noticed the keyboard player as someone I thought used to be a part of the worship team at Global Fire Church. After the service I motioned him over to me and sure enough he was the keyboard player at one time there. He knew how to usher in the presence of God @ that church when Jeff was the lead pastor. I usually remind someone when they think I look familiar that I was the rain stick player and that usually triggers who I was when attending that church. I only brought in my small percussion instruments with me to the church because I have never been there before and did not want to be asked to not play the rain stick. This worship was so good and refreshing that I probably could have not left my rain stick in the car and brought it in. The couple that are the pastors blended so well together especially in praise and worship. It truly is so refreshing to see a church that does not hold back when it comes to praise & worship. There was this bigger in size drum that they played it on the sides type of drum, it was fantastic.

I stayed afterwards to get prophetic ministry. Some words I will keep and others not so much so. The female pastor spoke a word to me and that she saw the light in my eyes & I take it everywhere I go with me. She also spoke of the creativity in me. You know it is like this. You chew on the meat of the word and spit out the bones. When giving prophetic words it does not have to be some drawn out bunch of words. I guess when it comes to that ministry to me, I speak it forth and I am then done. It is an ever-learning ministry process in not adding your thoughts to a word but just the pureness of Holy Spirit. I heard Holy Spirit when He told me who to wait for to get ministry from. After a word is spoken then if there is some testimony to share with the person that may be related but I do not make it a practice of sharing in the middle of bringing forth a prophetic word. That is just me and others may flow differently, and Holy Spirit may be prodding them to share in the midst of the word coming forth. The true test is listening to Holy Spirit and speaking forth what He is speaking to you to bring forth. Also, very important to not always receive every word spoken forth if it does not agree witness with you. The one person spoke truth when they concluded with only something like this take the words and plant the seed but if fallow then don't let them grow. It was something to that effect and those are words of wisdom at a conclusion of a word being brought forth.

At this service the person sharing that night actually shared about a particular song. The very CD of 1 of the music CD's I brought along with me to share with my mother as she was about to be heaven bound. Since they spoke of a particular song on the CD, I happened to have had a 50.00 bill (actually the money my mother gave me in a Christmas card I was hanging onto and still do have it today) in my wallet with me to bless this person to put towards their next music project in thanksgiving of Holy Spirit using that CD in preparation of her going to be with Jesus. If the song or music was never mentioned, would I have blessed with the 50.00 bill only Holy Spirit knows the answer to that. The opportunity never presented itself to bring that forth, so I learn to adapt. No big deal. I was willing and would have been obedient also, but I have learned throughout the years to not sweat over things like that. God is faithful and Holy Spirit knew I needed a refreshing last night from the busyness of going to Atlanta and now planning a celebration of life for our mother back in Ohio with me moving in the midst of that too. God is good, God is faithful & God is great and greatly to be praised.
