I just finished publishing a blog and as I completed it this thought then comes to me. Remember how in faith I would go visit Jeff Jansen's grave at the cemetery and bring flowers (both fresh and the dried flower bouquet I made in the Fall) and plant monetary seeds in faith? I stood in faith believing that someone with a heart of compassion would order and pay for a grave marker to be placed at his grave. I am thinking to myself now how I was fighting for a cause of another's family and all along in my own family a grave marker was already selected and paid for my very mother. She ordered it and paid for it a few years ago. The only thing needed now is the year of death to be added to it. One of the things on my list to accomplish while my mother was still alive was for me to get her permission to take a few of her ashes after she was cremated to save and then take to Croatia one day to spread some of them there.
Pope Francis why are you putting such burdens on Catholic people in telling them they cannot spread their loved one's ashes wherever they wanted to. You do not own them or the right to put such bondage on people. You will be held accountable to God Almighty for these actions you continue to take. You have no business in being mixed in the political scene and stay in your lane ok. My mother was completely happy with a few of our family members taking her ashes and spreading them in Croatia until the day she had a conversation with 1 of her Catholic friends. She told her she couldn't do that because the Pope said it is not allowed. Being a good and faithful Catholic woman, she bowed to the churches wishes and commands and not follow her heart's desire. You will have to answer for these stupid edicts you are making Pope Francis to hold control of the very people you oversee as the head of the Catholic church. I am almost ashamed to have to admit that I graduated from a Jesuit university in which you are also a Jesuit priest in that very order of priests. I remember the Jesuits as being kind, having a servant's heart and philosophy thinkers. Not slave drivers and priests placing burdens on people. Your actions kind of remind me of being a Pharoah working God's people very hard and keeping them in bondage. You will be held accountable for these very actions one day as so will we all be held accountable for our actions. Repent and change from your controlling ways while there is still time at hand.
The money that could have been spent on traveling to Croatia was given to the Catholic cemetery to order the niche and grave marker for her ashes to be placed in. This is how it works when there is no body to be placed in the ground. You meet at the entrance of the cemetery and the cars line up with an escort to greet you. Then the escort takes you to the columbarium where the niche is located. There is a wooden type of pedestal to place the urn on and the funeral rite prayer is spoken. If wanted a few words can be spoken by family members. That is it. Then you either have the choice to see the marker and urn sealed or you cannot, and the cemetery workers will come and seal it. People this is not a few hundred dollars to purchase this, it was a few thousand dollars, how can you in good conscience justify taking people's money fort this? Is this another Catholic money maker for the church, it sure does give the appearance of it doesn't it?
So, I and my sister-in-law were with my mother, and I asked her to show me some sort of sign if she wanted me to take a small number of ashes and one day take them with me to Croatia to spread them. I told her I didn't know when that would be though. I asked her to move her good hand that did not have paralysis from the stroke and no movement. Then I got this idea. I went to the other side and noticed her left eye was not completely closed you could see a slight slit open. I said mom if you want me to do this then try to open your eye a bit more than what was open. It was not a lot, but she did open it wider than what was open, and I told my sister-in-law she did open it up more. I then said mom I am understanding this is what you want me to do. I then shared that with my sister, and she was a bit apprehensive going against the Catholic church in this matter because mom was a devout Catholic that followed church rules. She thought about it and then said it would be ok because they do sell items where one can place ashes in a locket and things of that nature. I do not know how or when or the money to be there for me to travel to Croatia, but I will be prepared when the door opens for me.
Jeff Jansen my simple request is to find my mother and share the testimony of her daughter caring for the deceased. To not let one go unrecognized in the simple matter of having a grave marker to honor their existence here on earth. On earth as it is in heaven right. I shared with you all before as Holy Spirit would lead me, I would go to Jeff's grave and place cash money I would tuck under the plastic marker. I planted it as seeds of faith that someone would get this minister a grave marker one day.
