I was up early this day before the sun rose. Before I got up to greet the day, I began to give thanks to God my Father for all He has done for me throughout the years. Heartfelt thanks that brought tears to my eyes. I truly do give thanks to Him. I mean including years ago events that He protected me, gave me warnings and just loved me. I do not think there is anyone else that could take such good care of me. Including parents or children either. To Him alone all glory goes to. That is how I started my day.
So, He encourages me to go on an early morning walk @ the greenway. I get there and there is a fork in the walking path. You choose to go one way on the path or choose the other way. I was heading to go in 1direction and He beckons me to go the other direction. I followed through and that is how I was able to capture short length videos to share with you all. You know, things like splendor in nature far outweighs knowing I have just a little over 5.00 in my checking account today. Don't worry though tomorrow is pay day. Part of my testimony is how I am able to live within a budget. I know when to spend and when not to. This is nothing new to me for I learned this through my divorced days of living on the income of alimony & child support. There were years when we would have little gift exchanges for Christmas and then bigger gifts after I received my income tax refund. Do not feel sorry for me because those days were sweet and tender and my children were always taken care of beyond their needs. They have a generous father that blessed them many times over. Now, my children are in their 30's and it was only recently when their father retired that they had to seek out their own cellphone plans. I would say they are definitely blessed to be on their father's plan that long. Neither one complained either. It caused them to search out good plans that fit both of their budgets.
I was back home by 9:30AM after my walk. See, I told you I was up early today. One more tucked in blessing for today. I have wanted to add Brit Box to my Roku channel for months now. Well, I finally did today. There is a Black Friday special going on now. First 2 months @ 0.99 then it increases to 6.99 a month. I have been a fan of PBS for many years (not their news programs for I find them as biased/slanted news reporting and not fair reporting at that.) I enjoyed watching certain shows in OH & GA and some of those shows are not available in TN. Solution is to subscribe to Brit Box because they have those programs included. I am already watching a program I never saw before. I need to stop and go get some lunch @ Cracker Barrel and enjoy the rest of this glorious day.
One more thing, I arrived back home from my walk just as the gentle rain began to fall.
After starting the day in thanksgiving, I went into my guest bedroom to pray. A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon a prophetic dream I had 11/2/2009 and read it again today. I always thought it was a warning dream for back then but do you think it just may have been for me today. Characters changed in that dream back then to reflect people for today. A warning is a warning and why would Holy Spirit bring this particular dream to me today in 2021. I love the mysteries of God.
