My brother, James Richard (Jimmy), would have been 70 years old yesterday, 5/8/2021. He is in a much better place and has been for about 22 years now. He is able to greet my family members as they ascend to heaven. How glorious is that, pretty amazing when you think about it. I was on an adventure yesterday 5/8/2021 to bless others I used to work with at Cracker Barrel. Sometimes I do not have foresight I just get up and Holy Spirit directs my steps. I knew to go to the local bakery and I thought I was purchasing for a former elderly neighbor but it turned as the day was walking through. I was here & there & then in Mount Juliet. On one of my stops I felt led to go to Cracker Barrel and purchase a package of their bacon. While there I ran into a dear, sweet young lady I used to work with and we caught up on our lives, I told her about the revival tent in Smyrna, and how I went to anoint the farmland where Bonnaroo takes place with anointing oil. So, I am about to purchase the bacon and she so graciously stepped in and offered her employee discount towards my purchase, how sweet, how sweet. I received an text message a few weeks ago seeing if I was interested to come back and work for Cracker Barrel. I found out the other day what was going on with that when I was at another Cracker Barrel using their restroom. See, I know the cleaning schedule of the restrooms at Cracker Barrel so I will seek one out if I need to use a restroom. They clean them on a regular basis throughout the day. Apparently, they are calling back employees to work and they are not coming back to work because they are making much more money sitting home collecting unemployment. Listen, federal government enough is enough now quit enabling perfectly capable people from working. Your message is telling them it is ok to sit at home and collect generous amounts of money for doing that. Maybe if you cut off the extended benefits, able bodied people would actually get back to work and work for a living and not live off of the government dole.
Years ago, if a person was called back to work and the person on unemployment refused to go back to work that was grounds to release them from receiving further unemployment benefits. People don't be greedy but just go back to work and you will feel much better about yourself earning a living again and being productive in society again also. How has our country turned from a great work ethic to a whimpy work ethic? Make America strong again should be the prayer cry from the hearts of the believers along with Make America a nation with excellent morals again too. So, while I was visiting with a former co-worker I asked about another co-worker I used to work with. I got this Holy Spirit idea to go to the bakery and purchase something to bless her so I did and I was off to another Cracker Barrel location to bless her. It was all God's timing for when I arrived there they said she just got in. We would have fun together when we worked. There was 1 day we decided to demonstrate "puffy pens" and we had fun. We would have kids draw something then one of us would go to the back stock room to apply heat with the blow dryer used for making gift baskets and bring it out to show how much fun those puffy paints were to use. I really could be creative while working at Cracker barrel, even with sampling items from the store. Let me share this with you ... I found that customers tended to like when I would sample savory type of items as opposed to sweet tasting items unless it was the original recipe of Hershey's Bars, they always liked that. Chips and snack type of foods were more popular then candy items on a consistent basis I found to be so. While at this store location I blessed her with a few cookies from the bakery and she told me it was a favorite bakery to her. I found a wonderful clearance music CD and a few very good quality manicure nail files that were reduced to 0.40 a piece. See, I keep a spare nail file in the car in case I break a nail I can file it while at a light waiting for it to change green.
I am getting my travel music line up ready. So far, the Carrie Underwood CD I paid full price for 11.99 @ Cracker Barrel and now the clearance price CD ,"Country Faith Hymns Vol.2 16 Songs of Faith From Today's Leading Country Music Stars." I already found a song I have on "repeat" mode in the car. It is a song with a calypso type of beat but the words cause me to ponder about the great day of going to be with Jesus forever. It is called "Suppertime" by The Bellamy Brothers. Let's have a listen ok ...
