This morning on my exercise bike I found myself singing/humming and even praying in tongues to the melody of "What the World Needs Now"; "You Are So Beautiful" & "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." From me singing to Jesus that then led into speaking scripture verses all while exercising. Imagine that. So this afternoon I pulled up another video from the same church 5 years ago and the rich presence of God filled my place and it drew tears to my eyes. That it caused me to pause the video and write. I miss most during this covid stuff, gathering with believers and worshipping Jesus. I am a worshiper and I worship but I want to attend conferences again with the rich teaching/preaching and alive worship.
Where I reside I told you I love it here. Did you know I have not been outside of my residence since Sunday when the freezing rain began to fall in my region? Correction, I was going to venture out to my car the other night until a neighbor of mine told me how they fell on the ice and I decided it was not worth me going to my car and it could wait. I was prepared as if I was still in the northern state in which I grew up in with real winters filled with snow. Winter coat on with hat, scarf, gloves and even my Sporto boots ready to tackle the cold. I am glad I did not because there was a blessing waiting for me if I stayed home. The property manager offered for someone to pick up my mail for me and drop it off and to take out my garbage for me to the compactor if I needed it. That is true customer service is that not. I was up early and I still had some David's cookies break and bake chocolate chip cookie dough in the freezer. You guessed right, I baked up some cookies and packaged them to give to the person doing the kind acts of kindness to me and I blessed them with the cookies. It is so true to have a thankful heart, it truly is. Thankfulness comes from a heart filled with love and compassion. Reach out to someone today and share an act of kindness with them today. I am sure you can find at least 1 person right.
