I Am Going To Share Personal Journal Entries From The 1st Time I Presented @ A Youth Retreat If I May.

When reading 2 of my journals yesterday I came across a presentation Holy Spirit helped me put together when I was asked by friends of mine to share @ their church youth retreat. Trust me, I had doubts before sharing time. I shared these doubts with my friends when I asked them if they could share what I wrote in advance for me. They turned me down and said that Holy Spirit gave me the words and I should share them. I did, and let me take you on the journey I shared with kids that ages ranged from 10 1/2 years old through teenagers and the chaperones also. Would you like to go on this journey with me? I think the easiest way is for me to share actual pages in my journals of my actual writing if I may. This was really so creative how Holy Spirit showed me to put this together. The music He showed me to play; the candle I burned; instructing the youth to go outdoors and listen to Holy Spirit for He will speak to you. This was a great adventure for me and my daughter that was also a part of this journey. Do you see the importance of keeping journals, they are timelines of reference. The actual retreat presentation took place the later part of April, 1996 with a Methodist church group. Imagine this a pretty devout Catholic woman that would turn Pentecostal with Holy Spirit guidance. I hope you know how to read cursive because I write in cursive in my journals. You will see notations of direction in my writing so I knew where to go next, sorry you may have to do a little figuring out to connect the dots ok. Happy adventure I bless you with:

I am now going to share my journal thoughts/recap of the retreat with you if I may. I wrote this 5/1/1996:

This may sound a bit like the music I played @ the retreat, God is good, God is faithful & God is love:

Pachelbel's Canon in D -- Soothing Music with Ocean surf

Final closing thought, one of my journals I purchased the very first page I had all attending the retreat to place their names & ages in my journal and I told them I would pray for them each time I read this journal. A practice I continue this very day.
