All I can say is wow when it comes to Kainos worship. This is suppose to be a type of worship that attracts young people. Well let me tell you I am 60 years old and it sure did speak to me. I experienced this type of worship for the first time last night right in my home. I was live streaming a conference and prior to me signing up for this conference this type of worship created curiosity in me. I pondered on what is this sort of worship? I am a worshiper at heart and I tend to be drawn to worship and this was a new worship experience. It was a great one at that.
I was in my living room dancing with unabandoned freedom, yes dancing for Jesus to the beat of the drum so to speak. I brought out the little praise/worship banner I created weeks ago. I also had my rain stick and my little praise percussion shaker instruments. Sometimes at church there is freedom to worship but there was this extra freedom if that makes sense to worship and twirl with my banner in the presence of the Lord. I really like this type of worship. I google searched it and it did say it is a type of worship to draw the young to but hey there is no age chasm when you are a worshiper. Truly there is not. Are you young at heart enough to jump into the river of God? I am and I did last night. I am going to see if I can find an example on YouTube to share with you. It is the beat of the drum so to speak that speaks to me. I love prophetic worship and this seems to be that in action. The music and the words all come together in beautiful worship/praise to Jesus. This is a sound I could get used to. Praise the Lord. Amen. I experienced this via live streaming on a computer, I can only imagine the power in this type of worship in person. I am sure that it flows right through you and with you as you worship. Touched by this sort of worship, I truly am.
Now the Kainos worship I experienced last night was a bit more fiery and it was simply great.
