I attended a tent revival a couple of years ago and then it met for weeks on a Friday evening at a local church. It was good at times but trust me when I say there was a point when I was casting my pearls before swine. I do not like using that phrase but that is what happened. Not everyone in ministry is up and at am so to speak. When you connect with someone you will then see who they really are by their actions or lack of action. If I said the name, you would know who they are, and I am not here to name names. I followed this revival for many weeks and was most thankful that I was able to worship with the rain stick. I think in one of the meetings they even called out if Holy Spirit had a song via the rain stick, Imagine That! There was a service, and they were REALLY struggling with casting out a spirit from someone. Holy Spirit spoke to me ever so clear it was a spirit of suicide. I think I even spoke it out amongst the people. They didn't get it. They were struggling so much with this person and quite frankly, it was an easy fix, cast out the spirit of suicide. They kept struggling and so Holy Spirit in order had me walk up to one of the minister's parents and whisper to them it was a spirit of suicide. They never did anything about that and kept on struggling with that person. If you are called to deliverance ministry, it should not be a struggle to cast out spirits. No yelling or pleading. If you know who you are in Jesus, you just do it, very simple. Holy Spirit hand feeds you the very words and insight also.
So, I was at an event at the end of that Summer and spoke with the one minster that was there for this particular women's conference. I shared of my extensive deliverance training and how I helped set up a deliverance ministry at a church I used to attend. They asked me to email them my deliverance training experience training, sort of like a resume pertaining to this. After reaching out a few times to the minister with no response I knew that act was going nowhere. I literally cast my pearls before swine. As harsh as that may sound, I did. I have natural God given gifts that I do operate in, and deliverance ministry is one of them. Why do ministers pretend like they are caring but they may have an ulterior motive. Possibly someone asked them to get that info for them to see with no intention of allowing me to operate in this ministry.
See, local ministers are pushing a tent revival, of some sort this weekend at a certain location. I received an email with a short video clip speaking of a worship event being held on a public square on Pentecost Sunday. I am a worshiper and that is where I am drawn to. Yes, many will attend this tent gathering because influential ministers in the area are promoting it but guess what. It is not about who will be there the who's who of the ministry field. It is about attending a gathering where there are no mainstream preachers/speakers or even main well know churches sponsoring it. Just worshipers gathering and prayer together. There is power and warfare power released when the worshipers gather, and worship Jesus coupled with prayer. If you are a true worshiper, you will be in worship heaven so to speak at this gathering. 12 acoustic worship groups gathering. What I loved the most about this promo video is they said bring your hand-held instruments. Do you think the rain stick is classified in that category. I will be attending with a few friends that early evening. It is not about names and the who's who but about worshipers gathering to lift up the name of Jesus. There is powerful warfare that can take place in the form of worship. Let the worshipers arise and sing forth the praises of God and watch the walls come tumbling down.
Trust Holy Spirit and He will direct your path and show you if and where He wants you to be on Pentecost Sunday. I wait with great anticipation and am willing to drive over an hour away for this.
